"I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about." He assured her, trying to look offended by her silly notion. Boils? Silly? Never! "I heard it's the ghouls who are the silly ones." He offered innocently, giving a shrug. "Well, ghouly, what if I mean it but would rather show it?" Hey, she was the one who started goofing off first; Mac was just happy to provide a distraction. "Actions speak louder and all that, right?" No matter her answer, he would still be glad that she wasn't crying anymore.
One last kiss to her lips and then he merely held her, swaying lightly from side to side. The trip sounded stressful, he was admittedly at a loss for what to do next.

"You heard wrong, obviously," She grinned, unable to resist adding a soft chuckle at the back. His comment prompted her to blush as she quickly looked away with a slight pout; she had a pretty good idea of how he could say 'I love you' in actions, yup. Again, the kiss was welcomed and returned happily, and she settled for just sitting on him, head rested against his shoulder. For a moment, it looked like she was about to fall asleep...
"You don't mind me staying over a couple of days, right? I didn't want to be alone..." She muttered with her eyes closed, nuzzling his neck; she wasn't really tired anymore though. The nightmares made napping an unappealing option and she liked being on her boilfriend's lap; it was more comfortable than the bed right now, because he was so warm and felt just right.
This was followed by a short pause before she sat up, "Although where is my Mac and where did you do with him? Or did minipet sitting made him nicer?" She considered this, tilting her head with a thoughtful expression, "Also... Actions speak louder than words, right?" She giggled before looking at Mac with a very expectant expression, her arms moving to rest on his shoulders, fingers playing with the back of his-
... Was his hair this curly before? *A*

"Did I? Well that's unfortunate. I was so sure I was right." Mac sighed, lightly pinching her side for no really apparent reason. He continued to lightly sway as it seemed she was going to fall asleep, humming softly even as she spoke. Did he mind? "Of course not, stay as long as you need." It was silly to think otherwise, how could he not let her stay here, knowing how upset she was? The ghoul was crying her eyes out not too long ago! To allow her to continue that would be extremely mean.
"Nah, it wasn't the sitting; they're all fleabags." He joked with a small smile, and a half hearted shrug. "But I dunno, you might want to ask the ghoul crying on his lap. I think she stole him." Mac chuckled, leaning his head back as to not get his chin caught by her head spikes. It was all he could do, to stare at her while she seemed thoughtful, the way her fingers curled in to his hair providing enough of a distraction to prevent him from saying anything to speed up what she seemed thoughtful about.
The majority of his being didn't like that look, but the part of him that was hopeful to it was louder. Way louder. The only reason he didn't act on her probable-hint was because of what she had said to him last time, that she wanted to go further on her terms only. Mac knew he tended to read in to things in his favour, and he knew this because it backfired with her too many times to count. But now, he was heeding her terms, just in case she wasn't hinting.
"They are." He confirmed, waiting for her to explain her question.

"Is forever an option?" She giggled, obviously teasing. She was about to argue that Rosenthal was flea-free and that he shouldn't call them that when they probably didn't have fleas either, when his comment caught her off-guard. She pouted, although the edges of her lips were twitching upwards, "Well, she exchanged a lot of firsts and a piece of her heart for him, so I don't think it's considered stealing... She's very happy with her purchase, by the way."
To prove her point, she kissed him on the lips briefly before pulling back, smiling at him when he answered her. When she realized that he was doing nothing and seemed to be waiting for her to do or say something, she pouted; ah well, at least he remembered what she said the last time... Which made her feel really happy.
"Kiss me here," She took his hand, placing his palm flush against her neck, her fingers intertwining with his... Before giving him the expectant look again.

"Sure, if you can put up with me for that long." He shrugged, figuring she wouldn't be able to anyway. That was an awful lot of time alone with him; sometimes even he couldn't handle it. When she subtly reminded him of all the firsts and the piece of her heart, in exchange for him, Mac did everything in his power to hide the flinch, passing it off as a slow blink. She certainly did give up a lot for him. Obviously not everything, but, a lot. It was enough to make him feel somewhat guilty; there she was, being selfless, and what had he done so far other than be completely selfish? Nothing, that's what.
Ouch.
Her kiss made him feel a little better, able to shove aside the darker feelings to focus on her right now; she was cheering up, and she seemed at least a little happy...which was good, right? Right. He wasn't forcing her to do anything, as far as he could tell he wasn't guilt tripping her, either. Which was...well, it wasn't bad.
He responded to her initial 'command' by first gazing down at the hand she stole to make her point and then leaning in to kiss her lips instead. From there he gently drew his palm down to rest just barely past her collar bone while keeping her fingers locked with his.
Then, and only then, did he bow hid head to press a slow kiss to the side of her neck, where his palm had once been.

"But I'm not putting up with anything!" She blinked before giggling at the kiss; that wasn't what she asked for but she wasn't about to complain, not when he could make her feel this tingly and fluttery inside with every one. If she could, she would just... Make him kiss and cuddle with her all day long.
... Oh right, it's still early! Yay!
She giggled when his lips touched her neck, shuddering as her grip on his hand tightened. Her free hand continued to play with his hair, stroking at the back of his neck happily.

"Or so you say~" Mac grinned against her lips. He kept their hands where they were, resting gently against her collar, while his mouth moved to press kiss after kiss against the soft pale skin he loved so much. They moved slowly upwards, along her jaw line and finally to her lips, taking his time to enjoy every brief touch. His arms soon shifted, one hand sliding up to cradle the back of her head while the other remained around the small of her back; he gently pressed against her, easing her back down on to the bed.
It sounded like she had a tough night, and he had every intention of making her feel better, even for a little bit.

She blushed and giggled softly; his stubble felt funny against her skin yet it was a sensation that was oddly enjoyable and ticklish at the same time. She wasn't sure what to make of her boilfriend's not-quite facial hair, but she found herself enjoying everything about him so far... Maybe she could convince him to grow it out... In her head, it was potentially braid-able.
"The kits might be watching," She whispered, her lips pressed against his as she allowed herself to be eased down on the bed; any other day, she would have continued along that train of thought and probably make Mac really frustrated with talk of how she didn't want the kits to go astray, how ever that works, but today? She stopped there, holding him closer and deepening the kiss.
She would just have to talk to the kits later.
