“And um thank you yourself for your offer of help.” Athene nodded as the page spoke. While the other’s bossy suggestions hadn’t exactly served to make the dark-haired senshi’s night any better – Valhalla had helped him out. Besides an offer of help was an offer and Athene gave it the appreciation that he felt it deserved – after all the Jupiter Page didn’t have to make the offer.
Valhalla’s words on using the opportunity to retreat from the scene made sense too – the dark-haired senshi wasn’t sure he was up to dealing with another youma tonight – especially not another one of demon-horse thingy variety. One was enough thank you!
Giving a goodbye wave of his own Athene made his own retreat into the evening. If he was really lucky maybe he’d be able to pick up another small take-away coffee from the late night diner for the walk back home once he’d powered down.
