xxxTɑliɑ Vɑlhɑlxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx»» foreign scientist ►►Talia was getting a little light headed to say the least. Thoughts passed through her mind with not much consideration. The stinging hadn't stopped, but her fright did. It was as if her body had made it's own defence to such a wound. On a better day, she would classify this as the 'fight-or-flight' response. But today, she wait silently. Do whatever needed to be done and just pretend she could actually focus. Without a doubt, this event would be the highlight of her diary entry - next to finding a dollar on the ground.
She tried to mutter out a few words, but they were weak and she was dumbfounded at the moment. Her mind drifting off to what would come next. Stitches seemed like the most plausible answer. Well, with a scar that Talia would get, it looked like her modeling days where over - if she ever could be a model. Maybe she could pass it off as a battle wound where she unluckily got hit four times near the same spot at the same angle. Would Ian buy that? Highly unlikely.
Dragging herself back into the moment, Talia lifted her arm and pointed to where the man had scurried off to. "Um, should I follow him?" Her amber eyes looking to the woman lazily. ◄◄ OOC - EDITED

Oh, this was a nightmare. How could a day go from perfectly lovely to absolutely horrible in just a matter of moments? Mei kind of wanted to cry, but she was an adult woman now, she had three children, she wasn't supposed to cry, but most of all, she was too distressed to form actual tears. Instead, her face scrunched up as she fretted. Mao was telling her to do two things, to clean, AND to take the girl to the room. Which one should she do first? Ohh, she was just so bad under pressure... She couldn't think! It wasn't until Talia spoke that she began to react. "...Oh... Oh! No, please don't do that, you don't want to do that," she quickly shook her head. That would be one of the worst ideas in the world, for Talia to follow Mao! She didn't want to see what he had tucked away in his storage! "Um, please come this way, I suppose..." she went to touch Talia's shoulder, but shied away. Taking a moment, she inhaled deeply and summoned all of her courage. There was blood everywhere, and this girl could be dying, so she couldn't be afraid now! And so she took the young woman's arm and began to lead her towards the examination room. She felt a little uncomfortable with the contact, but she didn't want Talia to pass out on her! ...Or something. However, when she reached the doorway, she made the mistake of looking out the way they came. There were splotches of blood all across the nice, pretty floor. "...Oh my," she muttered weakly as her eyes crossed and her head spun. The sight of the blood (probably not as much as she thought there was) was making her faint, and soon enough, she tottered over and crumbled to the floor next to Talia.

With all the ruckus, it really was hard to Eva to ignore it all. It's not like she would do anything about it, however. After all, she was the shrink, not the doctor. Yes, she had spent five years in medschool sewing people up and cutting appendix out, but it didn't meant that it was still her job to do so. No, it was Mao's and whomever NPC doctor was filling in that day to do it. That, and right now was the time of her lunch break and like hell she would waster her lunch break helping someone in the hall way. She was syndicated and had the right to her lunch break. Sure, she was the only member of her union, but that was only a details. Talking about her lunch break, it was about time for her to go out and eat. She put her long black winter coat on her, grabbed her purse and headed out of her office, walking by a bleeding Talia and a fainted Mei.
She glaced at both woman for a second and sighed. Yes, she was going to take a few second of her break to deal, partially, with that situation. She gave a small kick to Mei with her heeled left shoe before talking. "You're pathetic. A weak woman. You're father would be disapointed in you and this will only encourage Mao to mistreat you more. Now get up and help that woman before she dies." There. She was even going to be nice and not charge Mei for those few seconds of precious advises. She smiled to Talia, giving her an acknowledgement nod and walked out of the clinic. She wasn't going to waste more of her time in there.

Unfortunately for Mei, Eva had been too late. Not that the blonde bombshell would care – but Mao did. The man had already poked his head out from the doorway, staring disapprovingly at the women on the ground, one bleeding out and the other just being a complete moron. If Mei wasn't Chinese, he would have told her to just do the world a favor and kill herself – but, happily enough for her, her own race gave her just enough of a push over the line into 'far below average moron' to keep her from him wishing her quick, painful suicide. He sighed out, taking a few seconds more than he should in the action considering the situation before he knelt and scooped the new, bloody woman with some difficulty. She wasn't the heaviest, but he wasn't the strongest either. Mao was a simple doctor and, even with his nightly excursions to search for ingredients, carrying a woman was a chore. But, he couldn't let anyone die on him here. He would get an even worse name than Mei's presence already gave his clinic. He not-so-gently dropped the blond onto the bed in the room, turning to head to the sink so he could wash his hands off from any germs.
As the water ran over his soapy hands, he called out in Chinese towards Mei. Well, yelled. “Get up, you worthless woman! If she dies, I won't be afraid to tell the press who's fault it is.” Really, if the woman did die, he knew for a fact that that Murrow fellow would be at their doorstep in a split second. He prevented the urge for another sigh as he dried his hands off, switching back into English as he looked over the pained blonde. “I need your blood type and your story. I doubt you fell to get that.” All he needed was a stupid story about the stairs to make his collection of stupid women complete.

xxxTɑliɑ Vɑlhɑlxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx»» foreign scientist ►►Talia becoming very confused by this hospital. First, the non-wounded woman helping her fainted then another seemingly-capable woman walked right past with only a snarky comment. Talia couldn't help but curse herself for coming here. Surely there must be somewhere better for her to go. Still as this thought echoed through her mind, the doctor had finally come back to her rescue. When he picked her up, her amber eyes fell onto another small stain of blood she had left behind. Talia would have blushed - if she could - and muttered a small 'Sorry'. Either way, she would be brought to a table and dropped onto it. She would have complained more about that had the cuts on her hip not be pushed together creating her to shriek a little.
Talia took a heavy breath trying to calm herself down and answer, "AB postive. And I'm positive about that." A small strained grin came onto her lips. 'Only me...' Talia thought with a glowing hope. That died when she looked back down her cut. It would be time for the disappointing part, "I was out doing some research and got surprised. Tiger attack." She paused, feeling somewhat shameful that she had let it come this far, "I only shot him after he pounced. I was distracted." Her mind then recalled Eet's face. Why had he been there? What was he doing? Talia certainly couldn't say. It consumed her mind as she watched teh dcotor begin to prepare, "Have you heard of a kid named 'Eet'?"◄◄

Mao paused long enough to give her a, 'Are you kidding me?' stare from her joke, but waved it off as the blood was beginning to bother him. However cynical he was, he still didn't enjoy others dying while he was around. It was bad for business, he would say, and then leave it be, but it honestly did bother him in some regards. He was a cynic, not a inhuman. So, he hastened just enough to where he would allow it, knowing that if the woman may be dumb enough to need a few extra seconds of pain to remember why playing in the woods wasn't for children. He not so carefully lifted her shirt up to make it easier to see the entire wound, not caring if she had some issue with revealing some skin. He dabbed around it with a cloth, soaking up as much of the blood as he could to better examine it – the flow was slowing, obviously, which was a good enough sign. The scratches were simply painful, nothing lethal. Any worry he may have had evaporated as he took that in, moving back to his passive expression while he poured the usual disinfectants onto a different, clean cloth, saying after he pressed it onto her open wound, “This will sting.” Too late? Maybe, but he didn't care much. “Eet?” He repeated, thinking slowly on it – could she be referring to-? “Ah, you mean it. The brunette child? Yes, I have – it makes for a good test subject. Doesn't question what you hand it, simply eats it. No parents to complain about it, either.” He pulled the cloth back, looking at the wounds again to estimate how many stitches she would need.

xxxTɑliɑ Vɑlhɑlxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx»» foreign scientist ►►Talia didn't really care for his look, she was just happy at herself for keeping up a happy front as her blood dripped from her side. It was more of a pride thing. There wasn't must else that passed her mind as he began to get to work. The girl stiffened and scrunched her face as the clothe touched hte wound. Even a large breath was pulled into her lungs as it touched while it bothered her. Talia trusted him for the sole sake that he was a doctor; although, that trust was doubted once he talked about testing on Eet. She began to question whether or not he should be trusted then and what would happen if he were to be given free rein. Perhaps her leg would end up on her arm...or her hand on her head. Oh gosh, things could get bad; however, she tried to hush this mind away from the idea. They were fantasies after-all. still, her voice chimed, "So how long will this take, Doc?"

Did Mao regularly experiment on his patients? ...Well, yes, but it wasn't like he was planning on anything as atrocious as Talia was thinking! She was being much too uncreative, really, but Mao wasn't a mind reader so, of course, he couldn't comment on it. Instead, he wondered briefly on whether the last tea he had left out for the thing she was asking about was working on it. He didn't know if it had anywhere else to sleep but the outdoors, but he presumed it didn't have anywhere else to be. He didn't know of people to be as kind as they liked to pretend to be, so he was certain Eet had probably been prone to colds during the winter season.. It was certain, but if it was healthy~ He set the bloodied cloth aside after he had cleaned up the wound. While it was certainly not fatal, it wasn't a tiny scratch. It would take a good.. fifteen? Perhaps even twenty stitches to get the thing securely closed! Ah, what a fun thing this will be~! He smiled slightly as he went for the needle and suture, humming while he went to work as though he were sewing a dress rather than a laceration.
“Oh, twenty minutes or so. Once Mei rouses from her nap,” He frowned as he emphasized that, glancing at the doorway as though she were listening in right that second, “she will get you some pain medicine and then you will be free to go. After signing a few waivers, of course.” He didn't want her to try suing him or something like that! The local lawyer was rather lawsuit happy, no doubt. “You will have to come back in a few weeks for a check up. To remove the stitches, assure there isn't any infections.. Who knows what that pussycat was carrying?” He added idly, in a better mood now that he was guiding a needle in and out of someone~ It was therapeutic! “Where did you see this tiger again? I will need to inform the police station.. Unless you would rather get interrogated by the cops personally? Sheriff Murrow is very.. detail-oriented.” However true that statement was, Mao was more curious for himself; a tiger was chock full of ingredients for his remedies!

New Day.The three women walked by the clinic, purposely bumping into Eva as the a** of a woman had stepped out of the clinic. Honestly, the middle person who'd bumped into Eva had been Blossoms, which was quite the terrifying fate seeing as she'd been known as a delinquent since her early years of beating up men and women; she was honestly called a demon for most of it. "Watch where you're going you disgusting excuse for a woman," Blossoms hissed at her, her face darkened as she glared at the woman. Walking past with her sisters they ignored Eva. She was a pathetic woman who preyed on the weak, while Blossoms was a woman who protected them, even if it means hurting the pathetic people.
Anna carried a basket of cookies in her arms as she wrapped the other around her older sister's which had been Blossoms. Glancing back at Eva she'd only flashed out her tongue and moved on from the sight of the ghastly woman. "Eh? Mei?" Anna cried as she rushed instantly to Mei's side. All three of the Blossoms girls knew how Mei got sick easily and how she'd been weak lately, however they knew it'd been because of the blood on the floor. Anna may not have looked like it but she was pretty cable of carrying men twice her size, and heavier. Anna picked up the woman and walked over to the staff room, where she'd laid Mei down on the couch, rushing over to the sink to fill a bowl with water and grabbed a soft, fully towel.
Lily had done the job that Mei had been supposed to do, wipe up the mess of blood. Being in various hospitals she'd learnt every way possible to get the stains of blood out of the floor. Taking up the basic detergent she'd splashed hot water on the ground and added lemon into the detergent. "That should be right, from the looks of this blood it hasn't been here too long," She said to herself, adding in the detergent and hot water together. Lily splashed the mop into the bucket as she began her duties, washing off the blood as quickly as possible. Lily Sighed in content as she'd finally washed up all the blood. Looking around she went outside to pour the water into the garden. Smiling sweetly as she packed the things away and went over to the staff office to change into her nurse uniform.
Blossoms glared over at Xiqui, disgust in her eyes as she began to look over his body, "I see you've bullied Mei today you egotistic b*****d," she spat as she was a heartless and cold as she'd always been. Her brown curls clutched to her high cheek bones as she watched him be all giddy and happy with a patient. Honestly he needed to get out more and the more he got out, the better it'd be for human kind.
Anna dampened the cloth, wringing it out and placed it over Mei's head, her worried eyes looked over Mei. She hated Xiqui, she bet that He'd bullied poor Mei again, telling her to do five things at once no doubt and then yelling at her for not doing anything from confusion. "I'ts okay Mei, I'm here for you," Anna whispered as she traced her finger over Mei's cheeks, almost wanting to cry.
Lily took out her flute, looked at it for a moment before clutching it in her hands,"No one would mind if I played just a bit would they?" she mumbled to herself as she pressed the steel against her lips and blew into it, releasing a mesmerizing tune, beautiful sounds came from her flute as she played her own original song. To her ears it'd sounded quite beautiful and she didn't care because it was for her own enjoyment.

It had been another usual day at the clinic – Mei hiding under her desk for the morning, Mao idly mocking Eva while the woman dished out intelligent retorts in turn, and a few check ups here and there. It was perfectly average – until lunch time hit, that is. Just minutes prior to the little hand on the clock reaching the bold, black '1', Catrina Murrow had entered with yet another of her wounds, all of which were related to wild animals and waved away with the excuse of 'hunting trip gone awry'. The woman had needed stitches, of course, which meant there had been blood. Not a lot, but enough for Mao to throw a fuss and flush Mei out of hiding using an excessive amount of incense. Whether it had been the smoke in the room or the blood or both – it was hard to say, but, really, all they knew was that Mei had passed out and Eva obviously wouldn't have anything to do with the ensueing chaos. Catrina was more Mao's patient, anyway, so she left for her lunch break, leaving Mao alone to yell at an unconscious Mei before lazily going to clean up Catrina's mess. The 'cat' was quite docile when it came to the stitching bit, which, to Mao, meant another uneventful set of hours to follow. Catrina would end up running out, he would call the sheriff to inform her that their cat was loose again, and then he would retire to the staff room to play table tennis until Mei woke up, at which point she would be forced to scrub up the at-that-point stain and he would go home.
But, as it turned out, his employees had arrived just in time to spice things up. Cherry, Lily, and Anna Blossoms – his latest trio of slaves to the confines of their little establishment. He glanced over at the doorway as one of the woman – the only real woman among them – opened it, a frown unseen from underneath the flu mask he wore to help deal with the smoke. Smoke that had already wafted out the ajar door and cracked windows, but he was too busy removing the stitches on a gash from a few weeks ago on the cat-girl. Catrina turned her head disinterestedly at the doctor before setting her green eyes back onto the task Mao had stilled in. If she had a real tail, it would be busy flicking away in excitement at the string. She loved string~ It reminded her of.. of a mouse's tail! Yes~ Tricky, but delicious little rodents~ Her tongue darted across her lips with the idea, though Mao smacked her lightly on the head before she could attempt to grab at anything. She frowned and went back to staring at the doctor as Mao did the same.
“I see you have come in late today again, my disrespectful employee.” He replied as he used his free hand to tug down the mask from covering his nose and mouth, raising a brow at the woman, “Did your sisters come in late too or do I have to lower only your pay today? If I do simply that. I should just fire you.” He shrugged before finishing Catrina's stitches up, forcing her to turn around on the bed before she could jump away. He still had to check some dog – or so she claimed them to be – for infection before she left; he didn't want the sheriff on his back again because of a sick Catrina. “Take off your shirt, Cat – ”
“Mjau~?” Catrina cut him off with another of her peculiar noises, grinning mischievously as she looked over her shoulder at him, her eyes wandering off towards the doorway as she spoke, “A queen revealing herself to a tom, merow? Isn't that.. unusual?” She purred, twisting back around to look at him suggestively – though, what she was suggesting wasn't really what it looked like. Otherwise, Mao would have given Catrina a very detailed reason as to why it would never happen. But, no, Mao understood what the cat wanted and didn't care enough to not oblige her.
“Dr. Blossoms, finish Ms. Murrow's check up. I was too busy working to eat my lunch.” He drawled as he pulled off his gloves and headed out of the room without giving Cherry a second glance. She would do her job like he told her to; however much she attempted to give him a hard time, he was still her boss and that meant he controlled her. Simple as that. The man left the woman alone with the grinning girl as he went out, presumably to find something to eat.
~Exit Mao~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
In the back of the clinic, probably attracted by the incense from earlier, Xochiquetzal was sleeping soundly behind a particular couch in a particular room. She hadn't heard much of anything going on outside this room – Xochiquetzal was a very sound sleeper that could appear almost dead if she was in a good enough place. Having been basically raised within this building, the young teenager held true to that fact as she lay still, hands clasped over eachother, body straight as a board, and complexion as pale as ever. Based on her expression, one could presume that whatever she was dreaming of must have been of the most boring of qualities for she looked quite neutral, though that could also be some odd gene that her father passed down onto her. One would never know, though, as she found herself awake with the opening and closing of a door.
She sat up straight, though she was hardly tall enough to reveal herself from behind the furniture, and she stared lucidly at her surroundings, as if she had only just laid back seconds ago. In reality, it took her quite a few seconds to understand that she was in the staff room and two women were using the couch to.. Her head popped up from the back of the couch, looking down at the pair (Mei && Anna) keenly. She cocked her head, “...Les.. lesbians..” She spoke in awe, her eyes widening slightly as she pondered on that. “...You are lesbians.. But,” She leaned over more, her hands making contact with Mei's forehead and chin. She stayed in that position for a split second before turning her eyes onto Anna's, “Mei is unconscious.. Is this.. molestation..?”

Life was a funny, funny thing. When Mei had been younger, she had made sure she maintained a healthy lifestyle. She always made sure that she ate balanced meals, got the recommended amount of vitamins and nutrients, got eight hours of sleep exactly. Working for a clinic may have had an influence on this regulated lifestyle, but it wasn't like it was a huge shift from her life growing up, either. If she was tired, she would take a quick nap in the cupboards. If she was hungry, she'd munch on some fruit or whatever she packed for her lunch. But this wasn't sustainable. Working full time, with three elementary-school-aged children, she had to sacrifice her own health for the sake of her children. Somehow, that had resulted in her fainting on the job more often than usual.
The shock of seeing Catrina in the clinic, injured like that, had sent Mei crashing to the floor this time. It was a pretty typical routine nowadays -- if anyone came in, bled a bit, made a bit of a mess, it was quite likely that the receptionist would take a fall at the sight. Usually she woke up moments after connecting with the floor, but maybe it was because she had lived with Catrina and was quite fond of her that she stayed out a little more.
She came in and out of consciousness a bit, as she was picked up by one of the nurses and carried out of the hallway. She was slightly aware that something was going on, but she couldn't focus long enough to do anything about it. It wasn't until something was pressed against her face that she fully came to. "Oh my," she mumbled as she tried to sit up, the damp cloth falling to her lap. "It's Anna and... oh, Xochiquetzal!" she remarked, placing a hand against her forehead as she tried to steady her vision. The head rush was always the worst. "How long have you two been here? ...Oh, did I faint again...?" she added nervously as she finally noticed her surroundings. "Is Mao angry...?" Of course he was! He was always angry when she was being useless, and passing out was about as useless as it got.
