Jude glanced over at Madison, "You say dragged here like we could have fought against it at any point," he observed and then he just mentally shrugged the thought away, "I don't know what is happening...One minute I am at the tent and then the next I am here..."
It was unnerving.
"Hey," he said back to Bix in that same nonchalant manner - besides there was nothing to get worked up over just yet.
Jude soon heard Leon's voice and he gave a small sigh, "Yeah frozen but I am alright. You alright?"

Attempting to move her limbs again without any success, Mei huffed in frustration. Well, this was something she had not anticipated. This couldn't be the third room either..not if everyone else was here as well. So..what was this then..?
Mei? When did you get here? "Eh?" Glancing about, she caught sight of the fox like ghoul. "Holly!" Relieved to see at least one face she recognized, she gave a sigh in relief. "I'm not sure. Last thing I remember was being with my team. Then this white light..and, well.." Then she was here. "Who are they? The reapers with the white coats? Have you ever seen them at amityville before?" She asked, curious if the ghoul had any intell on the group.
Her train of thought was discarded when she heard her name called out for a second time. Frantically scanning the room for him, she couldn't help but smile when she spotted the boil. "Bul!" Thank Jack he was alright! "Did see the white light as well? What's happening?" No doubt, he didn't have the answers either, but it didn't hurt to ask. For now though, she was just happy to see him safe. Shame she couldn't properly greet him though..

"Yea, I did actually," Bul replied to Mei. SO CLOSE... yet so far. >:
"I can't say for sure, but that cloak there? The one who spoke to us? It got us out of a tight spot earlier," whether or not that implied he took their side was up for interpretation.
"Some serious s**t must be happening if THEY are here.." the boil shifted his gaze to the humans across the room. "Vermin.." he snorted.

"I'm not going to lie, I'm really glad that I don't have my hands in some questionable position right now." Cass commented, still frozen in place and making a face. Sometimes being first wasn't the greatest. Jude probably knew that from how many times she'd crashed into and/or landed on him during this entire fiasco.
Grr!
"So now we have to play nice with the abominations." she growled, though she wasn't really able to shoot anybody in particular a nasty look.

"At least we are not the ones stinking up the room." Remi grumbled rather loudly, directing the rude wording towards the hunters in general. HUMANS! FEH! They smelt so bad to his sensitive nose. He wished more than anything he could will himself to sneeze the foul smell away.

((Entering from Basement Hub - Group 10))
OH JACKDAMNIT. This did not feel good. In the sense that the she-wolf knew something bad was going to happen. They had totally been only getting the easy end of this deal, hadn't they? Her nose wrinkled, picking up many familiar scents (that totally hadn't been there before) as well as...new ones. Slowly, LW lowered her arm, blinking rapidly to adjust her vision. What...where were they?
Her tail swished, violet eyes darting from side to side. Oh thank Jack there was, "Mei!" At least one of her team had made it here so far. That was a slight relief. But where were the rest of Luminous Flux? And...there were even more students here now. As well as a funny hooded figure.
Oh no...hooded figures were not good. They always meant bad things. Even if he...it...whatever!, said there was no fighting here. Sorry dude! This she-wolf had difficulty trusting hooded figures now. And, just as if to prove that something was definitely up (obviously, since they were here now), he raised his staff and suddenly, she couldn't move. "Oh hell no!" LW didn't like this. Did not like this at all. Not being able to move made you easy prey. Groaning and muttering low to herself, LW glanced around (at what she could see anyways) searching for a few particular faces. But there were no Skulker members here. Please let them be alright.
Nose twitching again, the she-wolf finally realized something else. Those across the room from them where human.
Hearing someone mention 'stink', LW snorted. "They do stink. Badly. That or I just have an allergy to human stench."

"I... don't... want to 'play nice' anymore," Roch said through gritted teeth. "How long are we going to be forced to just stand here? They kidnapped Lattice and them, then they took that Barth guy, then they took Freya and Calder, and hell, who knows how many others? What is a ghost that can take abilities and freeze people doin' just letting them stand there alive? Why was the jackin' HOUSE helping them out? I don't jackin' GET IT!"

Well, she was happy to know that she wasn't the only person who came by..light? But now, she was concerned. What did he mean by a tight spot? From the sounds of things, the tasks he went through were more serious than the ones she and her team had gone through. "Wha--Vermin?" Jackdammit! What the hell was going on? "Am..am I missing something here?" She asked.
Bloody hell! What was going on!? "Someone want to fill me in, or am I going to have to keep filling in the blanks..?" Seconds after, LW had appeared. "LW! What happened to the others? Are you okay?" Before she could get an answer, the ghoul was tossing an insult back at the 'reaper' ghoul. "I'm..confused..Who are they?"

[ Gale is entering from the tent~! ]
"You know, this is a rather tiresome method of transportation - haven't we got a better way of doing this?"
Gale arrived with a flash of bright white light, Jinhai held loosely at his side. It took a moment for his vision to adjust to his new surroundings, feeling vaguely dizzy, but after a few seconds of squinting he managed to get himself back to normal.
Well. As normal as one could get while surrounded by dozens of Halloween creatures.
As if running on autopilot, Gale started to lift the sniper rifle in his hands - only to find out that he couldn't. In fact, he couldn't move himself at all, half bent in a crouch, the weapon in his fingers frozen and unmovable.
"What the devil - ?! "
<< Well, this is certainly inconvenient. >> said Jinhai, as Gale's eyes scanned the room, picking out Cass and Jude several feet away, Bix somewhere to his left. It seemed as if they were split in two - creatures on one side, Hunters on the other.
There was a hooded figure at the front of room, but he did not seem like a Hunter, nor did he seem like a Halloween creature - which left nothing but questions within Gale's mind, even as they were left alone to talk.
"Bix," he said. "You all right? What the bloody hell is going on?"

If he could, Shun would have tightened his grip on her hand, but he wasn't really able to do that much at the moment. He couldn't blame her for being apprehensive about this situation in any case.
"Try to relax. We can't fight right now."
Looking around, he listened to the others, pausing as Roch spoke up.
"They took more of us?" he hissed. Last he saw, Freya and Calder were still around, "Kuso..."
He tried to move, or do something, but it was all a futile attempt.

More and more other students seemed to have arrived, and got stuck, along with more of these others. They were humans? That was that weird smell! Holly was glad to see more she recognized. Bul, Shun, and a few others. She looked back to Mei and shook her head. "Haven't seen any of them before in this place. I don't think they are reapers though..." She had a bad feeling about this.
She looked to Bul for a moment. "You've seen these guys before? What are they."
The ghoul scoffed at the comment from Cass. "Abominations? What a nice compliment, Thanks."

"They jackin' used Barth as bait. I tried to tell them it was a trap, but the idiots went, hell, Freya could hardly stand," Roch growled. "When Herryk and Christof came back I went with them. This room--they had jackin' exploding tiles--we got some good hits in, then I landed on one--"
He was silent for a moment. "But Freya wasn't in that room or the hub, and Calder never came back either, and I'm pretty sure the jacktards still have Barth too."

What seemed like forever later, the ghost finally gave the mirror one more tap, and it lit up, like a screen, pure glowing blue. A soft whisper, a voice, exhaled from it, what seemed like a "Good luck" to the students, but nothing more. It was darkness beyond the door.
"After you. I can't follow you there, rules and all. Come now, I have a strict schedule to keep. No fighting here, keep it outdoors." There was a dry tone to their voice, a joke they were sharing with themselves. They figure did not seem harmful and yet, their vague answers seemed to cause only more suspicion. Yet, there was only one way of finding out. OOC You can now go to the door and post HERE after you have read the GAUNTLET REDUX GM rp post.

Ah, it figures something like that would happen. It was pretty inevitable that captives would become bait. Before, he would have thought the others to be fools to walk into a trap like that, but he could see why they did it. If Mitsu were in trouble, he'd go through any lengths to try and get her back, even if he was walking into a deathtrap because of it.
"Great."
Falling silent for a moment or so, he stared over at the small army of hunters at the opposite end of the room.
"Looks like we might have to defeat all them first before we can strike up any rescue plans, however."
Something that was much easier said than done. The Horseman of Conquest mentioned they needed strategy, but it didn't seem like they'd get a whole lot of time to plan things out should things break out into a brawl.

"I guess some of you have had the pleasure of not meeting these hunters before..." began the half beast towards the questioning students around him. "They're exactly what they are, humans. Think of them as armed, malevolent, and bitter. But I would avoid them the best you can guys... just saying this now. Whatever happens, try try try to avoid them."
