Normally, the cat would have taken offense to that, but...he was far to interested in the other talking cat that had just walked in. One he knew nothing about.
....he hated not knowing who people were.

Artemis bowed, or as best a cat can, and introduced himself. "My name is Artemis. A little birdie told me that there was going to be a party here tonight.... Quite literally." His left ear twitched as Arell nudged it with his hand, a purr escaping from him as he spoke.

"Dat parrot of yours, Clyde, he talks, don't he?" Arell asked C.J., who looked over.
"Yeah, but get 'im goin' and it's hard to shut him up." C.J. replied.

"We were the only ones to show up though." Sapphire added.

Artemis raised both his paws up, sitting on his hunches, and then slapped them back down again. "Well count me in."
He hopped up on the arm of a couch. "I'm always ready for a party... So what are we playing?" He looked around at all the faces.

"Artemis. Good name for a cat." C.J. said.

"Speaking of which, I don't think anyone's introduced themselves yet." Sapphire said.
"Oh, yeah. I'm Alex, that's C.C." she said, motioning towards the black cat, who was still staring curiously at the other cat. "And the spider queen costume over there is Misty."

"Nice t' meet y'all, I'm Arell, my buddy here's C.J." Arell said as he smiled. C.J. was back in his infatuation with Sapphire . . .
"G-g-g-gee yer pretty." C.J. said when Arell hit him over the head.
"YEOW!! . . . Thanks, I needed that." C.J. said, rubbing his head. "Yeah, I'm C.J. . . . it's nice t' meet y'all."

Artemis rolled his eyes at Arell and C.J.. "And I thought the big one was dumb... Now I see where he got it from..."
He smiled and nodded to the others. "As I mentioned before, my name is Artemis, I'm a good friend of Arell's, quote, girlfriend." Artemis looked down at his paw for a moment and then preceded to chew on his claws like a human would chew their nails.

Both Alex and Sapphire stared at the two men for a beat, while C.C. just stared at the other cat. Alex turned and caught Sapphire flashing C.J. a smile, then turned away and rolled her eyes. Of course...why would she be surprised? Saph always seemed to get guys without even trying. Suppose if some 15th century plus year old man thought she was attractive...she had to have something going for her. And then there was that Vandal guy, right? He was...what, older than Blackstone, right. Jeez.
...damn genetics.
"Alright, so, who wants to go first?" she asked, looking back around the small group.
"Are we going to have any boundaries?" C.C. asked.
"....I don't know. Guess we can decide that as we go." Sapphire replied, looking back at the cat.

"You mean ARTEMIS, right?" Arell asked.
"May as well." C.J. replied with a shrug.

Artemis looked over at C.J. and gave him quite the look before sighing. "If I must... " He pondered for a moment and then grinned evilly, looking back at C.J.
"Truth? Or dare?"

C.J. smirked when Artemis asked the truth or dare to him. A little look that said "Challenge accepted."
"Awright . . . Dare me." C.J. said smiling as Arell smirked.

Arell started chuckling as C.J. turned redder than a beet.
"Good one, che'!" Arell said, laughing.
"Well . . . I- uh . . . alright." C.J. said and sat over near Sapphire, hoping she would understand about what he was about to do.
