"...huh." He stared up at the bird, too, watching its slow spiral: down and down and then it flapped its wings to rise again, glimmering red against the sky. It definitely couldn't pass for a normal bird, halfway transparent, the shape of the moon showing clearly through its body. Anyone who looked up at it would recognize the strangeness, the possibility of magic. It was a somewhat unwise signal flare to be throwing up; hopefully no white mooners would spot it and come investigating.
Al-Janah's attention turned back down to her with the start of a smirk spreading across his mouth. "Well, but how do I know that, unless you dance about and draw it down? I can't see it in action unless I ******** see it in action, huh?"

Her nose crinkled a little at his 'tease', or atleast what she was giving him the benefit of the doubt about as being simple teasing. Her own brand of teasing sounded with a soft huff. "I suppose the first thing I should have taught you is that abusing your guardians does not end well."
It was however a vaguely valid point he was bringing up, and she uncoiled herself a little. It was a first stage attack.. hardly lethal or super damaging.. but it still probably would hurt some... Unless she was small and agile enough to duck out of it's way. Hmmm... was she good enough to dodge it? The thought of the challenge was actually a little inticing.
"I'll tell you what. If you're willing to be hit by my attack afterwards.. then I'll go ahead and lure out your birdy."

Cats had attacks? That made Al-Janah hesitate for just a moment, eyeing the bird, his eyebrows knitted together, taking the time to think about that. Time that he didn't have: the attack only lasted thirty seconds, and while he tried to decide if she was serious or not, it faded away, the bird losing interest and absently flapping away, fading into nothing.
He huffed out a breath.
"...that sucks. What, it just goes away? That's kind of pointless..." But important to know, yes, so that he could keep it in mind for the future.

The bird faded away before the decision was made and Dahlia felt a mixture of relief and dissapointment. There would always be another time to test and challenge herself though. And hopefully next time it would not be at the risk of scars that might maim he beautiful figure.
Al-Janah's huff brought ears forward, flicking a little with the words before she shrugged her shoulders in the best way a cat could. "It's unlikely your next opponent will be able to read your powers like I can. They'll run right into your trap I bet."
"But all senshi powers do have limits. Be it the number of shots or how long it lasts. A power that remained active for very long would quickly drain your energy and leave you at a disadvantage physically."
"Senshi are quite lucky that they have a bit of magic up their sleeves to aid in their hand to hand combat. But the power is not unlimited. Be careful, learn your limits where it's safe. Don't put yourself in a situation were you learn it at the worst moment."

"...uh huh." His answer was positive; of course not, don't rush in. His tone, though, was distracted, absent, his eyes turned skyward again. Didn't think he could do that again, and he was considering what that meant. He probably wasn't really listening.
"Well. You know. Thanks for the name or whatever." More final; he looked back down at her, his head tipped to the side and eyebrows raised. He now new his name, his planet, his attack; he knew some of what he was capable of, and the rest would presumably follow. He'd met an ally. All in all, they added together to something useful, but Al-Janah had better things to do than hang around talking to a cat.
He bowed to her, obviously mocking, his eyes bright, and then stepped away. "See you?"

He wasn't exactly the most respectful sort of senshi, nor did he coddle her and love on her in the way that she deemed necessary and earned. But one could not win them all, so Dahlia simply wrote it off for the time being.
It took all kinds to win a war, and opinions and interactions changed over time. Maybe next time the Dark Mirror Senshi would be more to her liking. But for the time being she'd at least succeeded in her task and that was enough to satisfy her needs.
With a talk flick she pivoted as the menshi stepped away, offering her own set of farewells. "Goodbye Al-Janah. Good luck."
