"Rules?" That was the biggest thing that caught her attention, she looked at Ellie, then to Lissy and finally to Ridley. "Woah... Ridley she's hurt enough," Istas bounced over to her friend and tried to drag her back. "I'm pretty sure falling off a building made the point she was trying to make to you all."
She looked at her orange haired friend with concern. "Sometimes it takes making mistakes for someone to learn why the rules are important, even if they made the rules their-selves." She looked at Ellie hoping the older agreed with her.
The child watched them, "The important thing is, that she's alive because someone was there." pausing she nodded, "Anyways, do you guys mind if I ask what the rules are?" She was looking towards Ellie who seemed to be the leader. Istas thought those rules may become useful in the future.

The blonde girl didn't imagine any of the kids would have understood. Even now as Lissy confidently spoke of handicapping the Negaverse Captain by removing his weapon from play was completely ignorant, since his weapon had never been an issue for Iris. It was when he got close and grabbed her, teleporting her to a rooftop before she could react that she had been in trouble. None of the kids could have really saved her at that point, except for Hug-bell apparently.
Lissy's somewhat snide comment about calling on them received a somewhat snappish comment back. "I ain't gonna be able t'call anyone fer a while... cat took away my pen!"
So focused in on the teal-haired child's insults and words, Ellie missed seeing Ridley making her way to her good side. The only moment she noticed it was after she already received a decent jab to her still functional shoulder. Pointedly, her gold eyes found the child's orange ones, narrowing slightly as this kid spouted out her angry words.
As if to continue her thought from before, she answered Lissy's question about her own recovery. "Eight weeks... I am outta' commission fer 8 weeks... possibly longer..." Despite it being Lissy's question, her eyes remained focused on the child who was busy glaring daggers at her.
The curly haired child seemed distraught about the whole ordeal of Ridley punching Ellie's good arm, but with her only available arm she held up her hand to Istas of all people, signaling for her to not interfere with the orange child's rage. Now that the blonde had answered Lissy's question, the injured tomboy then addressed Ridley. "I want ya t'keep punchin' me until yer done bein' angry." It was probably the complete opposite advice of what any responsible adult would tell a child, but Ellie was not your usual adult.
The curly haired child was definitely out of the loop in comparison to the others. So without hesitation, Ellie listed off the rules.
"Rule 1. Do not patrol by yourself. Always have someone with you."
A breath.
"Rule 2. If you are by yourself and encounter any trouble, call for back up first before engaging."
Another breath.
"Rule 3. You do not kill Negaverse Lieutenants, Captains, Generals, or higher ranks. You only kill Youma."
Ellie sucked at saying Rule 3 in a pleasant manner, but Rule 3 was never meant to be pleasant in her mind. No matter how nice ********* was about it.

"Good." Was all Lissy could say when Ellie said that ********* had taken her pen away but as for the rest of it... Lissy didn't want Ellie out of commission for that long. However angry both her and Ridley were... Ellie was their captain! Lissy was sure that Ridley felt the same, they were angry because they cared!
"You would kill us if we did what you did." Along with insulting them and calling them stupid, which is why Lissy was sure that calling her stupid was perfectly fair thing to call her.
She looked at Istas as she asked about the rules and then to Ellie who listed the three rules off. She didn't say anything else though, she just watched to see how long Ridley would hit Ellie for.

Getting the okay from Ellie had been pretty surprising, it had happened before but her brother had made her hit a pillow instead of him to get her frustration out but really Ridley still hesitated on punching the older girl in the arm again. Not for the sake of the violent method but for the reasons behind it, and well what they probably figured she was angry for.
It was the simple matter that Ridley herself broke Rule One right after seeing Ellie do it because Ellie had done it and she knew full well that being mad at the blonde for getting herself severely injured over it would probably be hypocritical.
Really she was angry with how possessive their captain had been over the rules, how pointed she had been that they were hers to begin with and for breaking them she nearly died over them. This was all coming down as a horrible realization for Ridley and the best way she could figure to deal with was with violence, so she simply continued to punch the blonde's arm with each rule she listed for Istas and then she was done.
"I'm done," she stated in an unnaturally calm - for her - voice. She looked sulky and with a sigh, pulled herself back and into one of the chairs reserved for visitors.

Istas listened to the things being listed off, and winced each time Ridley hit Ellie. She still didn't think that was the best way to go about it but... if that's what Ellie was going to allow...
"Those are very good rules." The child said with a nod, "Heh, I should listen more to rule one myself... Even if I don't have an official team... yet." She'd been working on the club, however it wasn't quite finished yet.
The child pondered, at the way Ellie said rule three. Nodding with her curls bouncing, "Right, no killing Negaverse officers besides since apparently there's a way to save them; there's no point in trying to kill them." Istas beamed before glancing back to Ridley and Lissy.
She couldn't do much for Lissy, however, she did climb into the chair with Ridley in it and wrapped her arms around the orange haired girl when she seemed to sulk. "I have an idea, how about when Ellie gets better and has her pen back we'll all go Patrol together, how's that sound?" She smiled at the older senshi and winked. She didn't mean the day after Ellie got her pen back or anything, but something maybe to comfort the other two members of her team. Not to mention Hug-bell was hoping it'd be okay she tagged along so maybe she could learn something.
"I'd love to see how a real team works together." She added, with a nod. She hadn't seen an actual team in action before. Just the gaggles of senshi that managed to show up at a big battle. Those never seemed to end up as well as one could hope for.

Ridley's seething anger seemed to calm quicker than expected, which meant that the blonde eventually glanced back to Lissy. "...if I killed ya, I'd be a murderer... I kinda have better things t'go t'jail for than killin' a brat." There was a long list of things she'd be willing to go to jail over, most of them being related to racing her bike or car. She had been lucky up to this point, but she was certain the luck would run out one day.
"Seriously... ya can stop decoratin' this sh*t any time..." With that, the cast began to move as Ellie seemed to attempt to rock it so they couldn't write on it anymore.
The words which the curly haired child offered were somewhat foreign to her though. The Negaverse could be saved? Ellie shook her head, as if trying to straighten out that idea in her head. It couldn't be possible. No, the kid was just spouting out nonsense. So rather than comment about that subject, the subject went "ignored" for now.
Instead, she gave a rather firm answer to the child's rather happy plan of action. "I ain't makin' any promises..." It was already cramping her style to have potentially 7 different people she had to give a damn about, but then to add someone else to the list seemed almost intolerable.

Lissy just looked at Istas and stared.
"Really?" She had to blink a few times to make sure she was seeing and hearing right.
"How are you okay with this? She nearly died because she broke the stupid rules she has told us off for! How are you okay with this?" Lissy wasn't sure how Istas could still seem so happy and as Ellie moved her cast Lissy just got more annoyed and aimed the pen at Ellie's arm instead. She didn't care what she got now, it seemed as everyone else was calming down she was just getting more angry over it.
"What did ********* say about it?" She turned to Ellie accusingly as she asked the question. She wanted to know what the cat thought. She also ignored the whole negaverse being 'saved' thing. They were mean buggers she wasn't allowed to kill they didn't want to be saved.

Istas' attitude would have been surprising to Ridley as well, if she weren't distracted from her own thoughts, still flustered and struggling between continuing to seethe or sulk. Ellie probably did deserve more punches. And Istas probably didn't get the gravity of the situation since she wasn't on the team and all.
She was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt the purple haired girl's arms wrap around her. Her orange eyes seemed to finally focus again and she looked at her curly haired friend curiously and frowned. Ridley hated frowning, but in this room she couldn't help it. "I say we drag Ellie on every patrol we do so she gets her own damn rules in her head."
It was the only thing she could think of for the time being. Maybe she could go back to decorating Ellie's cast with more cats just to further piss her off, that could be awesome.

Istas looked at Ellie sideways, when she said she wouldn't kill 'a brat'. She paused when Lissy started asking questions about how she was okay with it. Istas still had her arms around Ridley waiting for the other to push her away, "I'm okay with it because she learned something from it."
She paused, thinking how to explain it. "If you look at everything in a bad light and worry about it, it keeps you from doing something important. You need to sit back and learn from it but don't let it stop you." She nodded, "That's what my dad keeps telling me. It was scary sure, and there's a lot of other scary things that could happen, like me nearly being killed by Wolframite if it wasn't for her. However, I learned from that and I'm pretty sure she learned something from her accident as well." Istas was eying Ellie as she finished. "So yeah.... why wouldn't I be okay with it?"
"Good idea." She nodded chipping her two cents into Ridley's idea. She paused looking at Ellie's cast, she sort of wanted to add something to it, "You're cast isn't nearly pretty enough yet Ellie, so we need to keep decorating it!" She was unintentionally helping the problem.

"I f*cked up."
Though Istas was trying to lighten the burden from Ellie's shoulders like a kind person would, the facts still remained. No matter how the child rationalized it, the blonde knew what had happened.
It wasn't meant to be her answer to Lissy's question about *********, and from the coarse language, it shouldn't have been mistaken as such. However, it would still be possible to confuse the statement for her answer. Keeping her eyes away from any of the three other pairs in the room, she clarified what was ********* opinion.
"********* said I don't think." It was paraphrasing, but the kids didn't need to know the exact words the cat said to her. It was something personal, and it wasn't their right to hear it. They were words between herself and the guardian.
A squiggle appeared on the tomboy's upper arm, but the teen didn't say a word. Not to the suggestions of patrolling, nor to the comments about her cast.
The kids were going to do whatever the hell they wanted.
That was, until there was a knock at the door.

"She's right." Was the only response Lissy gave to Ellie and she basically ignored Istas. She found it hard to believe that Ellie would have learnt from this but then that was just her way of thinking. Ellie was just one of those people she would have to see it to believe it.
When there was a knock on the door Lissy moved away from the bed and leaned against the wall. She wanted to talk to ********* now anyway.

As awkward and confusing as Ridley was finding Istas' hug, it wasn't something she was going to push her away from. It felt rather nice and comforting though, which... made at least some sense given what the lilac girl's power was based from as a Sailor Senshi. Huh, she could be comforting even as a regular person.
From Ellie's words, Ridley frowned and stuck out her tongue at the blonde with a small 'no s**t' muttered under her breathe. She still wasn't sure how she mad she should be for the Ellie's actions or the right reactions but the orange haired girl could still feel herself flustered about it. Maybe she needed to think on it later, when she wasn't with everyone here.
Or talk to her dad or something.
There was at least an incoming distraction and her orange gaze drifted to the door from where she sat.

Istas' head peeked over the chair she was sharing with Ridley, "Uh-oh." She murrmurred. Wondering who was at the door, "Anyways..."
She glanced back to Ellie, "I'm glad you're doing better than the last time I saw you." She smiled and nodded as she slipped down from the chair. She glanced around before shrugging, "You two wouldn't want to stop by my house for some snacks would you?"
She figured offering to Lissy and Ridley wouldn't hurt; after all she had a bit of homework to do too. She was figuring if the others had homework as well, it would be easier to work on it with company; if they felt like it after this visit.

The knocking at the door didn't wait for anybody to say to come in. She had a job to do. Soon enough the door was pushed open by thin middle aged woman who had too many wrinkles on her brow. It was a sign this woman did a lot of frowning.
"Visiting hour is over, girls... it's time to let Ellie get some rest..."
Ellie snorted obstinately. "That's all I ever do 'round 'ere..."
The nurse had heard this before and firmly repeated her usual answer. "It's the doctor's orders!" She drew up close to the tomboy and soon enough saw the mark upon her good arm. "What happened here?"
Rather than tell the truth of how Lissy drew graffiti on that arm against her will, the blonde instead stated "I asked fer a tattoo, and that's what she gave me."
The nurse shook her head. This Ellie Spectre was a pain in the a** when it came to cleanliness. Once more, she glanced to the children. "Do you need assistance walking back to the front desk?"

Lissy looked at the nurse as she came in and the phrase 'if looks could kill' would have come to mind. However as they were quite clearly being chucked out she looked at Istas as she headed to the door.
"Yeah why not." She then looked at the nurse and gave her the 'evil eyes' again. "No we are quite capable of walking on our own thanks. She is the only one who can't." She then pointed at Ellie and walked out the room waiting for Ridley and Istas. Oh she hated nurses, they always thought they could get you to do whatever they wanted! Well Lissy would just have to save her other rants for another day!
