Oh that grin, terribly handsome, but there was a promise of violence there that had the dark senshi's heart pounding in hear ears.
The logical part of her mind was demanding to know just what she'd thought she was doing when she'd entered that room and taken a seat to join him, and she couldn't really ignore any longer. She'd known it was foolish when she'd done it, but hadn't really considered the repercussions. Even now she hadn't fully grasped the danger she was in, not fully.
"Really now? That's surprising." He was advancing on her, but she stood her ground as he drew closer. Eyes jumping between that woefully handsome face and his hands.
If a hand cocked back to take a swing at her she'd run, but he hadn't offered her any violence just yet, save for the threat in his jokes and the wide curve of his grin. Her own posture was entirely nonthreatening, and would continue to be such until forced otherwise.
Even with the threat of violence riding the air like static before a storm she couldn't help but grin at his question. It was clear what he was after, but she wasn't about to just give it to him. Not that at least. "So forward," she mused, head tilting as she watched him. He was close enough now to touch, and she lifted a hand with intent to rest it on the hard plastic of his chest guard, stepping forward on her own, but for a far different reason. "Why do you want to hurt me?" The question was soft, and her expression matched it perfectly. A delicate pout coupled with half lidded eyes.

Chaonis was a simple boy, in the sense that he got an idea in his head he stuck to it. He did not back down and he did not shy away from the challenge of attaining whatever it was he wanted. The proverbial dog with a bone. At the moment, it was a fight.
Which was ironic in its way, considering that any other boy in a similar situation would be taking more heed of the innuendo in the air then he seemed to be.
Except she was making it very difficult to just hit her and start things.
Frowning at her question, he seemed to be caught off guard, stopping just short of her. He looked down at the hand she had touching his chest plate, arcing an eyebrow in a similar fashion to his father as he looked perplexed for a moment. It was chased away by his grin, though.
"Because you're a bad guy. Don't think playing innocent vixen is going to get you out of it though. It's not." Except it had so far: he hadn't lifted his hand, but he also hadn't dropped the tension in his body. He was ready to swing at any moment, and being inside really added to the potency of his attack if he called it.

The frown that followed her question stole her attention and she watched that puzzled expression flicker across his face before that confident, cocky grin returned. Her own lips twitching upward minutely, despite the delicate pout.
She wasn't really aiming to confuse him, but it was clear by the arch of his brow he hadn't really dedicated a whole lot of thought to his desire to strike her beyond the obvious. She was a dark senshi, therefore his enemy, except she wasn't exactly behaving like an enemy at the moment.
"Why?" Her voice was quiet as she asked her question, and she brought her other hand up to mirror the first against his chest, stepping all the closer. "Why am I a bad guy?"
With her now so close Chaonis would have to pull away from her before he'd be able to strike her with any serious force, and it was hard to tell if that'd been her intention all along, or if she'd merely wished to close that small distance between them. Considering her banter up to this point, it would be nearly impossible to tell.
The vixen comment earned him a smile, but she gave a tiny shake of her head. She wasn't innocent, but nor was he.

Chaonis was all for messing with people. He liked to think he was very good at it, finding buttons to push and then punching them just to see how the person would react. He loved seeing how long it would take to break someone, usually by making them snap and getting them angry.
So he was aware that he was being toyed with right now, it was just odd to have the tables turned on him. Not the first time, but it wasn't like he practiced being on the receiving end of this kind of thing. He watched her keenly with his dark eyes, reminding himself that she was just doing the bad guy thing and trying to confuse him.
"Because you're on the wrong team," he said as blandly and factually as he could, not stepping back as she stepped forward. He was stubborn, and he held his ground. And her ground, too, considering how close she was to him.
He frowned.
"The thought of Danger turns you on, eh?" He said, trying to win back some ground. He leaned forward a bit, tilting his head slightly to the side. "I mean, you're certainly getting close. Or maybe you're just scared, which I understand. I'm an intimidating guy." His tone was easy, drawn out.

She was messing with him, that wasn't really her intention, merely the cause. Her original aim had been to avoid a fight, but now it seemed her intentions had broadened a bit. She was curious now, about him, about his views on either court.
It didn't help that he was easy on the eyes. Idly she had to wonder if that had perhaps played a big part of her having joined him in the first place. She would have loved to have said it was purely the song, but if she were to be honest with herself she'd admit the handsome young man at the ivories influenced her decision as much as the music. Sad, mildly embarrassing, but true.
Shame he was a white moon senshi, but that wasn't exactly a deal breaker. It was the aim of her court to gather the all the senshi to the rightful court.
Her head tilted at his logic, and she leaned against him as she mulled over an answer. "I had no choice over that." Mostly true. By the time Ares had found her on that battlefield her faith in order had shattered. Perhaps that played some part, but Navi didn't know. He frowned, and she mirrored the expression, ginger brows lifting.
The cockiness returned rather quickly though, and she couldn't help but chuckle at the question. "Mmm, perhaps." Not a yes, not a no. She knew what he was trying to do, and while she wasn't about to simply let him reclaim all the ground she'd won, she was willing to play along. "There's not much logic in that though, is there?" It wasn't an argument against it, more a puzzled agreement.

"Yeah? Well I had no choice about this. So. I don't really care what choice you did or didn't make, just where you're fighting now."
If he started caring about things like that, he'd never want to hit anyone, would he? He'd get all soppy and pathetic, and be tied up by silly things like morals and righteousness. That was just not appealing to him, and if it meant he simply had to not care about the people behind the power ups, he supposed he was alright with that.
Of course, his own side was another matter. He didn't have the same ideas or standards for people he had teamed up with. Double standards? He was alright with having those, too. He wasn't exactly the most noble fighter out there.
"You and your logic. Who cares? Everything doesn't have to make sense for it to be fun. I think you people think too much." He was feeling more at ease with himself, watching her with a half smirk. He wasn't sure how this encountered had derailed so far, but he found he didn't really care. Maybe fighting wasn't the most interesting way to encounter an enemy. Though, it was still his favorite.

"But I'm not fighting." Least not right then and there. The delicate point of her chin tilted once again as she looked up at him, pale fingers smoothing up along the cool plastic that covered his chest. Lingering along the shoulders to trail her thumbs along the edge of the fabric that framed his throat.
She chuckled as he commented on her interest in logic, and her shoulders rose in a subtle shrug. "I like my logic, usually. You are right though," pink lips twitched up in a knowing smile, ginger brows dipping as she looked up at him. "Fun doesn't have to be logical in the least." Like now. Despite the promise of danger in the air, she wasn't having a bad time of it.
There was something terribly wrong with what was happening, and yet she found herself hoping things would carrying on a little longer, a little further. Did it make a whole lot of sense? No, not really, but it was fun.
That smirk of his drew her eye, and one of her own formed to mirror it. Not a challenge, but an answering expression. One hand rose from his shoulder to drape around his neck, and her fingers brushed along the short hair at the nape of his neck. It was incredibly soft.

Chaonis felt something in the back of his head kick into gear. Danger, danger, it warned, which was fitting for the Senshi who thrived on it. But this was a new kind of danger, one he had only been played with before, one he thought he could handle but, as it was turning out, he was failing at it profoundly. She was using her feminine wiles on him. Feminine wiles!
He did not want to be one of 'those guys', who could be so easily wrapped around some chick's finger just because they were gorgeous and flirting. But it didn't really matter what he wanted, because there he was, standing like a dope, not attacking or even bad mouthing her much, just staring and not moving because he didn't want to push her away from him despite how the back of his mind was yelling at him to do just that.
Danger, danger.
His hands rested on her hips, and he examined her face without losing that cocky grin for a second, despite the war being raged in his head. She was an enemy, not a damn girl on the corner. He pulled her just a little closer, daring.
"You do realize," he said, his voice low and guttural, "that if we meet again, I'm going to beat you to a pulp, right? And none of this will matter at all."

To be fair, the senshi of tumbleweeds wasn't doing any of this with the intent to twist the other about her finger. True, she didn't want him attacking her, but she easily could have run away when the music had faded and the both of them stood. Staying, closing that dangerous gap, all of it was spontaneous and incredibly foolish.
Foolish, but fun. Not just that, but exciting. Her heart was hammering in her chest, and she could hear the flow of blood through her ears as they stood there, her draped against him. She was almost dizzy with the adrenaline still coursing through her system, and her fight or flight response was screaming at her. This was a terrible idea, she knew it was, but she stayed.
His hands coming to rest on her hips sent an electric thrill through her, and she dropped her gaze for just a moment, chin dipping so she could see him holding onto her, and when he pulled she moved with him, pressing ever closer.
His voice drew her attention back up to his face, eyes half lidded as they focused on him, and tone alone was enough to send a shiver down her spine.
She smiled in answer to his question, raising on tip to so the soft bud of her lips could brush along his collarbone as she spoke. "Yes," there had been no hesitation. "But it'll be worth it." Probably, maybe. She was having a littl trouble thinking at the moment. Whatever they were doing, despite what might happen after, seemed far too good to pass up.

Chaonis was caught up in a much more simple and basic instinct now, far removed from his innate will to fight and cause trouble. It still appealed, danger pulsing through him, starting with that stabbing, small little voice in the back of his head and shuddering through his system with invigorating potency.
At least now he wasn't thinking about punching her.
Perhaps music had soothed the beast. He never would have said this kind of a moment were possible, if asked. Swing first, questions later: that had always been his policy. And he swore it still was. Whatever was happening now was just a fluke and he was allowing it to happen.
Yeah, that was it.
He tilted his head up when he felt her lips brushing his skin, for once feeling his own heart skipping beats. What was this dark senshi doing to him? The thought didn't enter his mind, his hands smoothing over her hips, his eyes finding their way back down to hers. He grinned at her, then leaned close as if to kiss her, but stopped just shy of her lips.
"You're easy. But I'm not."
Maybe she was scaring him, in a way he hadn't thought possible before, and that was why he had to hit the eject button.

Hazel eyes peeked open, rolling upward as he lifted his chin at the brush of her lips. That soft, cupids bow mouth pressing further as a pleased little smile came into being, a kiss finding it's way to the long line of his throat. He smelled of soap and cologne, it was a little intoxicating.
Circumstance had placed then there and their current predicament, and though Navi had initiated it, she had to marvel at just how forward she was being. Coming onto a boy she'd only just met, one that was still threatening to hurt her, none of this was like her. She wasn't exactly shy or reserved, but she certainly wasn't casually forward.
Was it her newly awakened power making her so bold? Or perhaps the addictive taste of charged violence between them. It was incredibly new and exciting, but all the while frightening.
She felt his hands moving along her hips, and her hand slid up within the softness of his hair in response, her other hand looping up and around his neck as the first had done moments before. Meeting his eyes she watched as he leaned over her, ginger lashes falling as his mouth hovered over her's. There was no kiss though, only a softly biting comment, and she laughed, a soft rumble of a chuckle as she looked up at him.
Was he getting cold feet now? "Scared?" Her voice was teasing, but still the same, harmless softness it'd maintained through the whole of their encounter.
He was so close now, and a hard thought would have closed that tiny distance between them. She smiled, a lazy curl, then rose up to meet him. Finishing the act he'd started.

"I'm not scared of anything."
What was going on here? His pride wasn't letting him back down, and his mind was basically blank, save for a select few things he could still feel and understand. Like the electricity shooting down his spine when her lips met his, for example. He had known it was coming, in a way, considering he had basically asked for it.
He closed his eyes and for a moment he gave in to the thrill of it. What was he, after all, but Danger itself? Or so he liked to think of it, and he pulled her closer, though it hardly seemed possible. His arms moved around her and he leaned down into the kiss, seeking more from her lips than she had probably intended to give him.
His conscience drop kicked him, and he finally heeded it, pushing her from him and stepping back. He looked at her for a long moment, from head to toe and down again, ending somewhere in between before his better sense told him to get out of there.
"This is far from over, Red," he said as he sprinted to the window and hopped up to the frame, the glass already missing, "gotta play hard to get, I'm a classy guy. Who knows, if you play your cards right next time, things just might get physical." He grinned at her from ear to ear, but inside his mind was whirling, and he had no idea how he was able to keep his composure.
If this indeed could pass as composure.

Prove it.
She'd have said it had there been time, had he not given into the kiss, pulling her closer as he sought more from her then the press of lips she'd been offering. There had been no expectations for more, assuming he'd jerk away from her, but she'd been wrong.
It startled her, but not not in a bad way. The deepening of the kiss certainly wasn't unwelcome, and she gave an appreciative little sound as he leaned into her. Pale fingers gliding through the short spikes of his hair, holding him against her as she parted her lips for him, returning his enthusiasm in full.
Her head was spinning, and her pulse was so loud in her ears she'd have sworn it deafened her. It was electric, a shocking, heady rush, and it left her hands tingling. Common sense and reason had melted away, and for that moment there was only the tightness of his arms around her and the taste of his lips on her her tongue. She didn't completely understand it, but she didn't particularly want to question it.
It wasn't completely unexpected when he pushed her away and stepped back, and despite a small stumble she remained on her feet, one hand falling back to catch the edge of the chair she hadn't moved very far from. A wholly satisfied smile curling lazily over pink lips as she watched him cross the to the window, bounding onto the sill. Her free hand raising to touch the tips of her fingers to her lips. "Is that a promise? I'll hold you to it." Curiously she wondered if the threat still applied, then further wondered if she cared. Would the fear of injury keep her away from him? Not likely after that little encounter.
"Do you come here often? Maybe I'll leave you a little gift." Perhaps a copy of 'Wicked,' or some sheet music. Something to hopefully spark some fond memories. "Until we meet again, Fiyero?" Of the two nicknames, her's was perhaps a little more creative. She doubted he'd understand, least not until he had a chance to look it up.

Did he come here often? Not really. Tonight had almost been a fluke, a whim that brought him here to practice because he hadn't wanted to be at home. Sure, he came here sometimes, but it wasn't like a regular thing.
Would he come here more often now? Yes, yes he would.
From the window, he heard her call him Fiyero and wondered about it. He'd have to look that up, because he wasn't sure what she meant. Of course, once he did, he'd have a new nickname for her. A couple, in fact, if he did his homework well.
He grinned at her, but didn't indicate any kind of response to her questions, saluting and leaping out the window and heading away from the building. He would certainly come back, if only to see what kind of a 'present' she would leave for him.

His salute made her smile, and she watched as he slipped out the window. She could feel his aura moving out and away, probably on his way home, or maybe out on patrol. She wasn't sure, but she found she was curious.
It didn't matter though, their encounter was over for the night.
She'd come very close to getting hurt, she knew that, the potential for violence had been almost overwhelm, and then somehow.. That happened. Her tongue ran along her lower lip as she thought about it, recalling the feel of his mouth on her's, his hands pulling her closer.
"You're going to be trouble for me." Her voice was quiet, barely above a whisper, and with a last happy grin she made her way out of the room the same way he had. Disappearing into the night and into the first mirror available.
