Quinn pushed the chair so it was leaning back on two legs as she pondered for a few moments. Her cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink. "Well... I don't really know." She laughed and rubbed the back of her head. "I think I was... Flirting." Her cheeks flushed brighter.

"Don't tell anyone this! But I've never uh, dated before. I mean I moved here only a year ago and then I became a Senshi" Her voice lowered when she mentioned that last part. "So I haven't gotten the chance to know anyone. And then I joined the Blood Moon Court, and there was Operation Rota where we lived in an old shitty building for what felt like forever. Then... Then I became a Parallel and I turned into a completely different person and had to go back to that whole not knowing anyone thing." She cleared her throat and her chair dropped back down to all four legs.

She planted her elbows on the table and rested her chin in the palms of her hands. "I mean I'm friendly when I'm not Leto. But after he left I realized that I kinda thought he was cute. And then I realized I was maybe... overly nice? I mean, he's a guy. Maybe he didn't notice and I'm completely over thinking it. But I don't know! I don't understand boys and flirting or any of that stuff. I feel ridiculous" She laughed loudly over the entire situation. And now here she was talking about boys to a guy she just became friends with.

"Plus. He's on my team. I don't want the others getting the wrong idea, y'know? I shouldn't play favorites just because him and I got along really well. I don't really know how to separate Leto and Quinn. Is it even possible when it comes to that kind of stuff? I'm not saying I'm gonna marry the guy or anything like that. I just don't know where to draw the line between civilian and Senshi. I'm sorry, I talk a lot!"

She realized she was ranting and talking rather quickly again.

"Your not the only one. I've yet to date anyone as well. Nothing to be ashamed of or anything. I've been...busy and before that found most either impossible or simply...unworthy." He stated with a slightly prim and proper tone of voice. It was true though, he hadn't found anyone to his standard.

"Sounds like you were busy, with a lot. Since this summer I have been also...and I'll admit I don't want to risk dating someone...normal. Someone who knows and understands would be preferred, in fact it would be the only option. I don't want to risk them finding out or have secrets." Secrets that were big could ruin a relationship and he didn't want that, he wanted something to last and work. Maybe he got that want and desire from his parents and seeing how well they worked together, when they were both home at least.

"If you were flirting he likely noticed. But the question is...is he someone you'd date? Changing a person means they aren't what you want and changing them...isn't right." Meant you didn't like who they were and had to mold them into the perfect someone....telling them they weren't right, it was a whole bad thing in his opinion.

"It's ok! It's perfectly fine to talk." Waving a hand he shook his head smile smiling brightly. "In fact it takes my mind from my own problems. And in a relationship I don't think separation should be...like I said ti's a secret that I don't think is good to keep. So dating someone who knows, is on your side. I think that's the best and let him know, if you two ever date, that you won't favor him at all that business is business and a relationship is just that, weather it be as a senshi or a civilian. The way you two approach each other is where the line is drawn, not with the clothing you wear." A small shrug of his shoulders before a fork full of cake found it's way into his mouth.

"I'm in the same boat though, I don't know how to approach a guy, I'd be lost." Too many weren't gay or bisexual and add in they needed to be on his side. It would not be easy, and he was a guy! "This life we live...it makes things hard in other aspects. But I think you'll have more luck then me."

"I was busy. I mean, I guess I still am. Just not like I was before." She paused to think about it for a second. "I don't think I'd want to date someone normal either, actually. I mean, not only because you shouldn't hide things from a significant other. But it puts so much at risk. What if something happens to you? Or worse, if someone finds out who you are and they end up in danger? ... Or even worse than that, you find out they're on the other side?" She wrinkled her nose at that thought. Dating a White Moon Senshi, ick.

She stared at him when he said that the boy likely noticed. "... Oh. I always thought boys were s'posed to be the dumb and oblivious ones? Er, no offense!" She grinned. She waved a hand dismissively. "I dunno, we just met. I wouldn't change him though. Really I wouldn't change anyone I know, I know some pretty great people now."

She couldn't help but laugh at Alexandre. "I barely even know if I have a crush on the guy, and here you are talking about dating and business versus pleasure. You're ridiculous," she said in a teasing, friendly way. She kind of stared off into nothingness for a minute. "Alunite's pretty hot too, now that I think about it." And he called her cute! She looked up at him when he mentioned approaching a guy as well. Oh! She had no idea.

She shook her head. "You seem like a great guy and you know what you want. Plus, you're easy on the eyes. I don't think you need any luck, Alex." She smiled warmly at him. "Any boy would be lucky to have you!"

"Precisely, or if they find out and leave you for that. No, nothing I want to risk if I honestly fall for someone and date them. I wouldn't want to risk the emotions I'd be putting in to it." It would hurt too much if he invested himself in it and things went horribly wrong, especially if it was his own fault. "Not to mention if they know, if they are like us, they will understand things and be of comfort - proper comfort." They would be able to properly understand things and help you handle whatever had happened. No, he didn't want normal.

"Some can be dense, but I wouldn't say all males are. But if you think it's obvious then hopefully he took notice. I'd hope, for someone entering a war, he'd be observant and have noticed." He said smiling at her.

Laughing he bobbed his head with a bright smile in place. "Of course, but it's best to mention those things and since you did first. I just decided to give my opinion. It doesn't hurt to think of such things before anything even happens for sure, always have a plan and a back up." He said with a wink given to her. "Mmm, I'll agree with that observation, though he's not my type. But I know his sister and him, his sister better of course. She's one of the General's I've taken to getting training from. I'd say Alunite's a good fight, especially if he's anything like his sister, but one doesn't become Eternal without having some skill." And while he had never seen Alunite in battle he was quite sure he was very capable in a battle.

Feeling his cheeks warm he ducked his head, smiling softly at his lap. "Thank you, that does mean a lot. I must say the same for you though." He couldn't held his reaction. It was nice hearing those words, maybe she would be right and he wouldn't need any luck. Just time.

Suddenly Quinn realized how complicated a romantic life would be. She already had a hard time trying to balance work, patrolling and actually now having some sort of semblance of a social life. Where exactly would a significant other even fit in to all of that? Apparently that was the price to pay when you transformed into a magical warrior of Chaos every night.

"Oh, I didn't realize he had a sister in the Negaverse," she said, a little taken back by that. "An Eternal and a General in one family- impressive." She grinned. She wondered if she'd become an Eternal Senshi with that kind of power and magic at some point. Not only that, but she wondered if she could even handle that.

Quinn couldn't help but laugh and smile at Alexandre blushing and hiding his face, and she shook her head when he complimented her right back. "If guys think that girls that drink beer and play Warcraft are pretty then I guess I didn't get the memo!"

She always kind of thought herself as more like one of the guys rather than someone that a guy would be interested in.

It was a step price to some - to most. They were teenagers and things cutting into or destroying a romantic or social life was not typically a good thing, and was seen as a large price to pay. But for freedom maybe it was worth paying the price? If freedom was lost you couldn't have the freedom for those things: social life and romantic life. Right?

"Fluorite is his sister. She was actually the first I met, after I was brought in." He said with a smile and a light laugh as he remembered that night, it had been quite the shock for the than Captain. He still felt a little bad about that night, but he was more than glad for it seeing as he might not have met her other wise.

"Well, I neither drink nor play video games. So find me a guy that's in to neither of those things. You should have a less difficult time, you drink which is a time for bonding with them and video games...just need to find a fellow game player?" He offered, the last bit a touch lame sounding to his own ears. But the beer part didn't sound so bad, he was just clueless when it came to video games.

"You'd have more in common with a guy than I would, that's what I'm trying to say. Which should make it easier for you. And anyway, anyone you may ever date should know they are lucky."

She thought about it for a moment, putting two and two together about Alunite's sister. "Purple hair, I'd assume?" Her eyes widened slightly "Oh s**t, was she the General that got burnt to s**t by that blond a*****e Senshi?" She should probably call Matt up sometime and make sure his sister was doing okay, in that case. And to thank him for saving her in space, now that she thought about it.

She leaned back on her chair again, the front two legs lifting off the ground and she relaxed by resting her hands on the back of her head.

"Pfffft there are plenty of guys out there who don't drink and play video games! They're typically the classier ones, in fact." She laughed, her brown waves shaking with the laughter. "And that's part of the problem. I have too much in common with them. I'm usually seen as one of the guys. A bro, et-cetera. It's great and I'm a ******** blasty blast to have around, but that doesn't mean they wanna date me. Which is totally fine because I'm in no hurry to start dating considering a have a team to train and people to drain, but I'm just sayin'. Not always good having so much in common with them. But thanks... For saying they'd be lucky. You're a sweetheart."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "So if you don't play video games... Besides transforming into a badass evil-doer, what do you do?" The idea of hobbies outside of technology really didn't make sense to Quinn at all.

"I didn't see what senshi did the burning, but yeah. That's his younger sister, Fluorite." He said smiling softly. He did wonder how she was doing, maybe he should put in a call and find out? He doubted she'd mind him visiting and offering whatever help he could, since it was nearly a week after the fact.

"Mmm...I guess it would be boring to have so much in common, wouldn't it." Not something he'd actually ever thought about, he thought that would be a good thing. It would eliminate thinking certain activities or hobbies would be looked down or earn you a teasing. Not to mention it was more to do or talk about together. That wasn't a bad thing, right? He didn't think so but then again it left little in the way of new topics, to learn and branch out.

"Not trying to be, simply being honest. And remember, I'll be helping with your team, whenever and however I can." He really needed to rework his schedule and plan his times out for everything.

"I paint, I've been trying to get a book club going but I've been so busy it's been impossible to attempt." Duties of course, damn white moon senshi. "Duty, training, high school. And...I garden." The last word he ducked his head at. That was the big secret the one he told people if it was needed to be known. People at school and such would forever be clueless. His mothers friends didn't even know, his mother was nice enough to never let them know despite all the talking his mother and her friends did. "I enjoy shopping as well."

"Oh neat, I'd love to see some of your paintings some time," she smiled at Alex being completely sincere. Then he mentioned gardening and her eyebrow quirked upward. Her lips tugged upwards in the right corner slightly, wanting to curl up into a broad grin but refraining to do so. "Gardening, eh? What kind stuff do you garden?"

She was rocking in her chair now, trying to make sure she stayed balance so her chair didn't tip backwards so she fell in the middle of the coffee place. "Like, flowers and s**t or vegetables? Both?" She paused briefly as she began to lose her balance- her arms flailing as she tried to regain it and she finally did.

"I used to kickbox. When I was Kat, I mean. I haven't gotten around to signing up again since the whole Quinn thing happened... Probably should though, maybe take some of my newbies with me so they can learn a thing or two." Somehow, everything always related back to her other life.

"If you want I'll show you whenever your free." Who'd have thought he'd be telling so many people that he painted and had a knack, love, for gardening? He never would have thought he'd be doing so and yet here he was, and that was after Kyndall and Harmony and others. But it didn't feel that bad...he trusted these people. They were people he knew and trusted with knowing him - who he really was. "Plants, for the sake of it, herbs for food and some plants for tea or slaves and the like. I have a mix of different things. But no, no vegetables. I have a small green house, it was my mothers but she let me take over some years back. I learned from her and got better on my own." Explaining as he smiled lightly. His mother really had gotten him in to gardening, he'd follow his mother in there and listen to her tell him which ones needed watering and how much. African violets couldn't get their velvety leaves wet with cold water or it would rot them. He'd learned a lot from her, that was just one of many things from her.

Watching her work to keep her balance he was glad to see she didn't fall, even though she had almost lost it. He'd been standing, ready to jump in and over the table if necessary in order to keep Quinn from hitting the hard floor.

"That would be a good idea, and maybe group runs...with matching jogging suits or yoga suits." He added half serious and half teasing as he made the suggestion. "It would be a good idea though, some group work and making sure they all learn some needed traits. I've also learned, from the whole...incident that medical training would be a good thing. I'm planning to look in to it for myself, and getting additional help from Howlite and Mica. That might be a really good idea for your group, perhaps something we can all sign up for together." it would be damn useful, the Surrounding and the right after had shown him that. It could also be yet another way for the two teams to bond, even if it was just him and Quinn's group.

"Yeah that'd be awesome. Should show me your garden some time too." She grinned at him when she nearly fell and he jumped to his feet to make sure she didn't fall over.

Putting her chair back on all fours, she laughed at the idea of her team with matching jogging suits. "Yeah, I definitely think we need some medical training. I think Navi has some, but beyond that we're all pretty clueless. I was trained in a**-kicking, not saving lives. If we could get a group thing going that would be fantastic."

Any sort of bonding time between her team and the Negaverse would be beneficial, she figured. She'd already made it her personal goal to befriend as many of the Agents as she could- being on their bad side was something she quickly wanted to change. Glancing at the giant clock on the wall, Quinn's eyes widened slightly.

"Holy crap, I didn't realize what time it was! Hey I gotta get going, but we should do this again. Call me, kay?" She stood up, pushing her chair back out of the way. "Thanks again for the cake and tea, it was really good! I had a nice time. G'night Alex!"

She waved quickly and took off, she had a scheduled patrol she needed to get to with one of her teammates and she was already late more often than not.
