Sapphire_God Maybe they will bring back the drop rates once they find out that the Elite booty-grabbers like us have stopped playing because we had enough of their crap.~ Sadly I doubt it will matter unless a corresponding decrease in cash fish sales creates a revenue drop Gaia considers significant enough to care about. And I'm not saying that to be snide or mean towards Gaia; I'm just observing the realities of running a small to mid-size corporation and knowing no matter what you do you will not please everyone. I do think Gaia will need to either improve the BG situation or decide high end fish are no longer a product they care about selling. Either way they will probably keep the fish they currently have since the coding is already done but they may decide to put the emphasis on decorative fish or no updates at all. At this point I think they could whip out a fish that is twice as good as (insert your favorite BG fish here) and sales would still flounder because most of the serious users that would buy them have lost faith in the current BG situation or - at the least - have a cautious wait and see attitude.

King Awesomolocity Honestly, I'm kinda surprised more people haven't done this yet. BG's future is still a bit too shaky for me to get back to getting a tank.
But if I do, it'll probably be after my huge analyzer update which should be coming relatively soon. :3 ~King Awesome I admit I was surprised when some time back you told me you had gotten rid of your own tanks. I mean, it should say something to Gaia when someone who is into tanks / BG enough to create one of the widely used tank analyzers doesn't consider it worth it to maintain their own BG tanks. smile And - is there a thread talking about what one can expect in this "huge analyzer update"? smile Now you have me curious but I'm guessing there is already discussion out there if you can post me a link.

ninjaboy1989  sorry to see your fish go we really enjoyed them cry i added your fish to the No Fish Section sweatdrop if or when you decide to have fish again we will move them back to their correct spot 3nodding Yeah, that's totally fair. I hate that I may have screwed up some folks' threads, especially where I am on the first couple of pages and my tanks are grouped together. It's one of the reasons I waited as long as I did before freezing them.

You're welcome David. I do feel the same way about the glitches fixed (Thank you Pan for that) but I also do think some changes turned the other way rather than for the good of booty grab. As others put it, "being killed softly." I also haven't seen much after 9/30 so I'm guessing they're taking a BIG break once again. People don't bump when u are glowing anymore I have to bump and grab my own tanks to get the most gold possible will miss u David from another David me rofl rofl rofl rofl Yeah I agree I still have all my tanks, but only 1 in the BG sections, cuz It still has Memphis in it & I do have some put back 2 keep that 1 going... My other tanks just have average cheep fish, & I have 2 grab them myself... Even the Memphis 1 don't get much grabs anymore.. When they die out, with the ones I have put back, I'll be forced 2 close my tank down as well... It is just sad the way Gaia is doing & going down hill.... B4 long it won't be worth even logging in anymore... I just wish they would be more honest & up front with us about what they R really doing...

Gaia has such a history of being secretive, giving contradictory information, changing things after the sale and so on that many users have lost faith or are extremely skeptical. I believe Panagrammic is trying to both communicate and make fair changes within the confines of those he works for. IMO he has not found the correct balance of changes. I'm a bit disappointed he has not updated his booty grab changes thread since 9/30 even though changes have occurred. And some things contradict. He said he lifted the same IP restriction (probably true) yet users report when they play a tank from their own IP (mule / spouse / sister etc) they do not receive any gold or dropped items. So people are being vocal in the forums about that and other fish issues and not a peep from Panagrammic / Gaia. Sad. Even if they are too busy with Halloween they could have said, "We heard you, very busy, will look into it soon".

Can you even freeze your fish? I don't have a Barrets Tank for my aquarium anymore. I had a couple of Mermaids in there, that are now lost. .... just saying

I will let you know if I find it. smile You may be experiencing some sort of computer / software problem. Internet Explorer is is just a browser software. It is never in itself 'down'. It might be configured incorrectly and not finding your proxy servers or for some other reason not connecting to a web site but IE itself will 'work' even if your internet is disconnected. Kind of the same way MS Word can be opened without actually opening a document or Winamp or Adobe Reader can be opened even if you are not actually opening an MP3 or a PDF file. IE is just a program that knows how to read HTML files. Also, AOL is not a browser as far as I know. They used to push modified versions of IE that had there name on them and (back in the day) restrictions built in to what you could browse on the web. Sort of a filtered version of the internet. Anyway, I'm not sure what your problem is but I think it is probably on your end, not Gaia's. One way to test that is sign on to your Gaia account from a different location on a different computer. The library, a friend's house, something like that. See if the problem still exists.
