It's been sixty-four years since the threat of the Northern land subsided. Hyrule has enjoyed peace and harmony in these long years. Since the catastrophe was averted before it could truly begin, and very little harm came to our people, the entire chain of events has become clouded by time and, for the most part, forgotten.

The army that fought under the banner of that nameless, evil boy has become nothing more than a joke or a short tall tale at dinner tables. And the monsters? Why, even if they ever did exist, they've so long ago retreated to the deepest, darkest corners of the land, that they may as well be a fable.

The elder citizens of Hyrule remember, sure, but no one knew about the catastrophe until it was almost over, so there's not much to remember anyway. And besides, they'll tell you, the young ones wouldn't listen to you if you tried to tell them anyway. Most children don't care for the words of the wise these days. But it's just as well. That whole messy business is far behind us now.

You finally wake up to a new day. Words and foreign pictures from the night before, play across your tired mind. Despite the fact that you had a very odd dream last night, you decide to carry on and go about your life as usual. Just another normal day for you, right?

Well, there are other plans at work here,
and I'm afraid they don't agree with yours.

[ Izzy : Kokiri Forest : Village ]

As Izzy exited the small house he shared with his cousins, a horrible sight greeted him: two of the members of the Deku Squad. These guys had always hated him and his club, but today was worse, because it just so happened that he owed them something. Today wasn't going to be his day, was it?

"Uuum...Heyy, boys! You know, I was just on my way to see your boss, so if you-"

"Can it, Snapdragon!" one of the Squad boys yelled. "You need to come to the Meadow! The Deku Tree wants to have a word with you, and from what I heard my boss say, I don't think it's gonna be a pleasant conversation!" The other boy chuckled at this, which earned him an elbow to the ribs from the one who had spoken.

"The Deku Tree...?" They would usually say their boss had sent them, not the Great Deku Tree. He must really be in trouble! But for what, he didn't know. "All right, I'm coming."

"Good," said the first boy. "Don't make us have to come back for you!" The Squad boys ran off ahead, and Izzy sighed. He felt his faery, Haelo, fly out of his cap.

"Don't worry, Iz, I'm sure it's fine. The Great Deku Tree isn't as mean as those bullies."

"I hope you're right, Haelo," Izzy said, forcing a smile as he ran down the forest path.

[ Nado : Kokiri Forest : Village]

Although she was busy splattering fruit graffiti all over the house of one of the Deku Squad, Nado couldn't help but notice her fearless leader making his way across the village. With a smile, she threw the last bunch of grapes to the ground before jumping off the roof of the small house. She rolled forward upon landing, then sprang to her feet and chased the blue-haired boy down.

"Hey Iz, what's up?" she asked as she began to catch up with him. He seemed to be in a bit of a hurry.

[ Izzy : Kokiri Forest : Village ---> Kokiri Shop ]

"Oh, hi Nado!" he said without looking back. "Sorry, can't stick around right now. I've got to get to the Meadow!" He paused and took in a quick breath before jumping onto one of the stepping stones in the small pond. He quickly made another jump, then another, landing awkwardly on the other side. The Kokiri Shop, easily noticeable with its red roof, was right next to him.

"But first, I need to make a quick stop here. I think my Seed Bag should be repaired by now." And without even bothering to wait for a response, he ran into the shop.

[ Kokiri Shop Owner ]

"Hey, Izzy! Glad you're here!" the stout little kokiri said as the Snapdragon gang leader entered his shop. "We just finished it last night." He rummaged around the shelves behind him before retrieving a small brown bag. "Put ten Deku Seeds in there too, free of charge... just this once!" he finished with a stern look at the boy as he handed him the sack.

IZZY GOT THE SEED BAG!

[Nado : Kokiri Forest : Shop]

"Hey, slow down and talk to me!" she said, following him into the shop. She crossed her arms as she saw the shopkeeper with the Seed Bag. "Well, I guess a slingshot wielder is no good without his bullets..." she grumbled as she tapped her foot on the wooden floor.

[ Luke : Keuredet Village : Bakery, First Floor ]

"Hey mom, have you seen my camera? I can't find it!"

"I put it up," Pita said to her son. "You're always too busy taking your pictures to do anything else, so you won't get it back until you do something!"

Luke sighed. "Mom, you're ridiculous! I have to take a really great photo so I can enter into the Harvest Festival's Picto Contest!"

"Well, if you hurry and do your work, maybe you'll have time to get a good one. The first thing I want you to do is go to the Village Square with your sister. It's milk day, you know. Someone from Lon Lon Ranch will be there with our delivery soon."

"Aw, mom, do I HAVE to bring Aroma with me?"

"Yes, you HAVE to. She needs to know these things too, you know."

Luke turned around and headed upstairs with another sigh. There was no way he could finish his work in time with his sister tagging along and slowing him down...

[Felin : Kokiri Forest]

Akin flew around, noticing several strings and a few contraptions, some were painted like targets, others were a little more simplistic. What does she have up her sleeve now? the fairy wondered as he continued, bobbing and weaving to avoid some of the more delicate things, which could go off if even a fairy like himself sat on it for only a second. "Felin!" he called. "Felin!" still no answer. The fairy decided to check and see if she was in her house on the hill. He noticed what could either be described as a catapult or seesaw near the door. Flying ino the house, he saw her standing by a window. "Alright, what have you cooked up this time?"
"You'll see." Felin said simply, trying to kill the conversation so she could focus. Two strings were beside her, most likely part of a grand prank of hers.
'You'll see' . That was all Akin ever got from her during her pranks. He sat on her head, trying to see who she was waitin for. "So who's the victim?"
"You'll s-"
"Right, right, I'll 'see'." The fairy, now a little frustrated, crossed his arms as the two patiently waited.
One of the Kokiri came into her view. Qucikly, she lifted her hand, which held a small, wooden knife, and she cut one of the ropes. Soon after, she cut the other.
The Kokiri boy heard something familiar, the whiz of a string zipping in the wind. "Oh no." He looked, seeing the end of a string fly across the sky. He heard another and quickly whipped in it's direction. What the...?
The first string flew through the tall fence that seperated the hill from the sudden drop into a small valley leading to another house, while the second continued it's path across the tops of each house before letting loose a bucket of water, which landed on a plank positioned on a rock, sending a slightly larger rock flying.
The first string zipped over to Mido's house before making it's way up to the hill leading to Lost Woods and triggering yet another bucket of water, landing on the plank just outside Felin's house, which launched yet another rock.
Both rocks flew through the sky, hitting different targets, which in turn sent two sharp Deku Bullets into another two strings, both positioned on some kind of jutting log. Both had rather large berries attached to them, and they collided with the Kokiri Boy, soaking his clothes different colors.
Felin came out of her house. "Haha, yeah!" she said escitedly, her prank working without any flaws like the last one.
"Darn it Felin, Now my clothes are gonna stain!" the Kokiri boy whined.
"Aw, cheer up Dotre." Felin said as she walked over. "Look on the bright side, at least you stand out now!" she gave her familiar smile.
Dotre looked at Felin and couldn't help it. There was something about her that, despite her hobby, seemed to make people forget their problems. He looked at himself and began to laugh. This made Felin laugh along, and even Akin joined in. The three laughed for a long time.
"I have to say, that was brilliant."
"Thank you, it's what I do." Felin said, bowing as if to a large audience. She looked around. "I wonder if anybody else saw it..?"
"Well if they ask about my clothes, I can certainly tell them." Dotre said.
"Thanks Dotre. Now I've got to dismantle everything and prepare my next prank."
"Good luck with that." Dotre said, walking off as Felin headed to her house. She decided to start there.

[ Izzy : Kokiri Forest : Shop ---> Village ]

Izzy took the seed bag happily and strapped it to his belt as fast as he could. He then headed out of the door, ready to head to the meadow...

But he was sidetracked by a kokiri boy being painted by attacking berries. He couldn't help but laugh at the sight of the rainbow-splotched boy; he knew this must be the work of Felin. She was the only "troublemaker" - as the Deku Squad put it - that wasn't in the Snapdragon gang; and Izzy had been trying to recruit her for ages.

He saw her running towards her house, and decided to go see what she would be up to next. He knew the Squad would NOT like that at all. But then, he decided that he didn't really care.

Felin had dismantled the plank contraption, setting the board in her house, along with the bucket. She had emptied the contents back into the pool. She'd put them away later. As for the rock, she pondered whether to keep it or toss it out. There were a lot of rocks, but then again, they lived in a forest, not a mountain. Shrugging, she set it by the plank before heading out again, Akin following all the while.
Her first order of business, she decided, was to gather the other plank and bucket. She started with a light jog down the hill, before turning and heading in the shop's direction. "Hey Izzy." she said as she passed him. Akin decided to stick back and chat with the boy as Felin continued to dismantle her stuff. "This isn't another recruitment, is it? she shouted, lifitng the plank over her shoulder.
"I doubt that Felin." Akin replied. He then turned back to Izzy. "So what's up?"
Felin passed the two, being mindful of their conversation while she continued to work. After she dumped out the second bucket and putting it and the other plank in her house, she returned outside, looking at the small tree where the two mashed berries hung. This was going to be difficult, as she didn't quite remember how she got up there in the first place.

[ Izzy : Kokiri Forest ]

Nah," he said with a shrug. "I'm apparently in trouble... I'm being summoned to the Deku Tree's Meadow." Here he shifted his gaze from Akin to Felin. "I was just wondering, I'm not being framed for something YOU did, am I?"

At this point, Haelo took advantage of her Kokiri looking away from Akin, and flew over to talk to the male faery. "Hey, Akin. How are you this morning?"
PostPosted: Sun Nov 06, 2011 5:54 pm

"Nah, I like to prank people, but never so far as frame them." Felin said before launching herself at the wall. She jumped at it, then kicked off, carefully securing her place on the small tree. So that's how I got up here. She looked down to Izzy. "I've never been summoned in the entire time I've been doing this stuff." she paused. "Maybe it's something really good. However, I don't know how many people get summoned."
"Because you're too busy wrapped up in your work." Akin said. The fairy's attention turned to Haelo. "I, um, it-it's been good." He stuttered. He never knew why he tensed up around her, but every time he tried to fight it, he ended up sounding like an idiot. "I mean, it, uh..." The fairy boy lowered his head, blushing slightly. The glow he emitted turned a soft shade of pink. It always did when he was embarrased. "I should probbly stop talking now."
Felin undid the knots in the strings, letting the weight of the busted berries take the strings with them as they fell. She then looked at the targets she had propped up on the trees that made up the perimeter of the village. Hm, how am I going to get those... Though a brilliant mind when it came to planning and setting up, she was almost always at a loss when it came to dismantling. She really shouldn't have this problem.

[ Izzy : Kokiri Forest ]

"Oh...You don't have to," Haelo said with a giggle. She thought the boy faery was cute when he didn't know what to say - of course, she would never actually say that...

"Oh, let me help you with that," Izzy said, running off towards one of the targets. There was a Bouncy Mushroom growing at a close enough distance; he leaped onto it and let out a "Whoa!" when the large, comfy, gelatinous mushroom bounced him up into the air.

At first he forgot what he was doing, caught up in the fun. It was too bad these babies only grew in Autumn. But after bouncing a second time, he remembered his purpose, and gently knocked down the target in question. He bounced on the mushroom one more time, then dropped down to the ground.

"See? Now that's how you get a job done."

[ Mido : Kokiri Forest ]

"Hey!" trumpeted the "big boss" of the Kokiri. "What are you doing, Snapdragon? Didn't my boys tell you to come to the Meadow? The Great Deku Tree wants to speak with you! I don't know what you're so busy with, but it CAN'T be any more important than that! Now move it!"

He nodded once before turning around, as if to say "And I'm so justified in ordering you around", although he didn't really say that...but he did turn back around. "Hey you," he said to Felin, "The Deku Tree wants to talk to you too. I'll bet you're both in trouble. Humph! Serves you right. And I don't know why you're not in trouble with them, Nado," he said with a glance at Izzy's orange-haired friend. "You're just as bad. Well, I'd better get going before I'm seen spending too much time with you criminals." And with that, he turned and stomped his way back to the Meadow.

Felin had forgotten that you could use the fungus as a trampoline. She wanted to smack herself as a reminder to remember that. "Thanks Izzy!"
Before she could get the second target, Mido stormed over, saying something to Izzy. She paid close attention, though with Mido's big mouth, you didn't need to. But he did catch her attention when Mido said the Deku Tree summoned both of them. Felin was confused, she had never been summoned in her life. She looked to Akin, who still seemed caught up in a conversation with Haelo.
She dropped from her perch on the small tree and trotted over to Izzy. She had a nervous look about her demeanor. "What do you think we did? I hope it wasn't anything serious." she turned her head to the small, winding passage that led to the grove where the great tree spirit dwelled.
Akin looked to in Felin and Izzy's direction before turning back to Haelo. "Well this is a first." the fairy boy paused. "I myself have seen the Deku Tree a few times, but Felin..." he trailed off. "Sounds like he wants both our Kokiri." A sudden wave of realism washed over him. He was actually making conversation without stuttering to the fairy girl. I, I guess we should, er.." Crap, I was doing so good too.
Felin, meanwhile, was quivering in her boots. She didn't know what the Great Deku Tree wanted from a prankster like her, and it was practically inevitable that Mido and the gang would be making fun of her sudden fear.
