He noticed her reach for it. So it was not just he who was consumed by the need to hold it then. He did not meet her eyes when he spoke, silver orbs trained on the seed in his hand.
"Accidentily. I had been meaning to just drain from her... but she jumped and my knee gave out and suddenly my hand was inside her chest... she started screaming - probably the best reaction she could have given me - and I panicked, pulling out my hand.... with my fingers still curled around this... " his voice trailed off, a hint of regret in it. He closed his fist around the starseed, handing his head.
"I didn't mean to take it. I didn't mean to... to... kill her... I just was doing my duty... and wanted her to be safe, asleep in the row so she wouldn't get hit by flying debri... I never asked for her star seed..." His voice was soft, pained, and he couldn't bring himself to look at Albiero. Even though he was a Negaverse agent, he was still a human at heart. He felt regret, he felt pain, and remorse. Lots of remorse.

The girl blinked, then reached over, wrapping an arm around the Negaverse agent. "Why didn't you...why didn't you just take your hand out...? Was...it just curiosity? Had you known what you were going to take out of her...when you took it, I mean...you realized you would be killing her?"
Her voice was soft, and she seemed torn. He hadn't meant to kill the woman...but he still killed her...But...he wasn't a complete monster...He was just misunderstood, right? Maybe...
She sighed, hand moving to gently stroke his hair. "Did you apologize?" What was she, six? Surly she didn't have the mindset of apologies fixing everything, certainly not fixing the fact that he killed her...

"I... couldn't... or I didn't... want to. I don't know! I didn't even know what was going to happen... I... " he sighed, letting the senshi stroke his hair. He didn't ever care he could be ripped straight back to the Rift again and hounded by the General-King.
He saw people take star seeds everyday. IT wa supposed to be.. a trophy, a suivener, wasn't it? Why then, did he feel guilty about it?
"Every night I apologize..." he said softly, leaving out the part about staying up for hours wondering what would happen if he tainted it with Chaos. That would just give too many mixed signals, he figured.

Albireo just nodded, running her fingers through his hair. "Well...Hey, I think that...that's a good thing...It means...you're not a sick twisted killer..." She sounded hopeful, then gave a little laugh. "I know it sounds bad...but...I think I have some respect for you now, Jarosite...I don't think you're a bad person...Mean, sometimes...but...not as evil as I thought at first."
She felt bad for him. It seemed like the past few times she had seen him, she was comforting the male. But...if someone needed comfort, she wanted to help. It wasn't just her duty as a senshi...Albireo wasn't who she was. She was Odette...Albireo...sure, was a part of her, but wasn't her whole life. Maybe it wasn't even Albireo that was concerned for the male that was in front of her...maybe it was Odette that was concerned...his hair reminded her of Merric's hair...
"Your girlfriend...make sure she stays out of this stupid war...please? I don't want her to ever have to suffer...suffer with your pain or your choices...Protect her, Jarosite..."

Jarosite turned his head and found her mouth with his for the briefest moment. He pulled back, silver eyes glowing for a moment. "Thank you..." he said softly. What had compelled him to kiss her, Chaos only knew, but he just deemed it apropriate at the time. Surely he'd get his face ripped off for it later, but ah what the hell.
"Keep your man out of the Negaverse's clutches, hm? I don't really want your knee in my nads, again." Jarosite grinned at her and wormed his way out of her grasp. If asked, he would say it was an escape tactic, mhm.
Just an escape tactic.

She froze with the kiss, then just nodded at his words, mind elsewhere.
She had just cheated on Merric. She hadn't...wanted to...? But she cheated on him. She was a cheater. Aw, s**t.
The senshi cleared her throat loudly then nodded again, blinking rapidly, looking at the male. "If anyone from the negaverse so much as breathes on him, I'll destroy your nads. I don't even care if it wasn't you who hurt him. Okay? Also...If something happens to your girlfriend, I'll take care of the b*****d who laid a hand on her. That's a promise."
The senshi stretched, then stood. Now was a good time to get the hell out of there. She had to go home...peel the first layer of her lips off.

He grinned at her. "And I'll try not to slam my boots that hard into the next time we meet under not so peaceful circumstances. I'll try." The grin grew teeth and he let out a chuckle. His expression turned serious for a moment.
"You can completely forget the kiss; I'm not even sure why I did it. Also, just keep in mind what we talked about earlier. I wouldn't want you to follow the wrong princess, ya know?" He gave her a wave before disappearing over the side of the roof.
Phase one. Complete.
