[Document Entry 001] - True Nature
(Takes place sometime after Twilight in the Park.)
"AHHHHHHH!!!"
The girl woke up screaming. Her pokemon at the foot of the tree sat up with a start. But even when Tymiko was fully awake, she continued to scream. It started as a cry of terror before transforming into something hateful and angry.
The young trainer thrashed about in the tree canopy she'd fallen asleep in, yelling at the top of her lungs. She stood suddenly, stomping and kicking at her surroundings as she ignored the twigs and limbs that snapped from her vicious rampage. Even as they caught on her clothes, scratched her, and cut her, the girl wouldn't stop.
It was only when she lost her balance that she ceased, falling from the tree in shock and landing flat on her back. It wasn't a very far fall and the damp ground absorbed much of the impact, but it was still enough to knock the wind from her lungs for a few long moments.
Not long after she had regained her breath did Tymiko sit up and start to hyperventilate, curling up with her knees to her chest and shoving her face in her hands. She bit down on heels of her palms as she wept and screamed silently, forcing herself to quiet down lest the wild pokemon of the forest came to try to find her after her outburst.
Ty also did so in order to keep from clutching too hard at her hair, her tightening fingers threatening to pull it out as she clenched her hands around the thick locks. Had she not already been crying, the pain would have brought tears to her eyes, but her pain now was beyond physical.
Her shoulders shook as she broke down with shuddering, wrenching sobs, punctuated every so often with a hiccup or a forced cough as her body caused her to take in more oxygen. She choked on her muffled cries, some words just barely discernible, but seemed to be speaking only to herself.
Though Fathom had fled a few feet when the girl had dropped to the earth, the Vaporeon slowly re-approached the tree trunk at the base of which he had been sleeping. He cautiously peered around the tree trunk, careful to keep his distance while simultaneously keeping an eye on the child. Fathom watched to make sure his young trainer didn't try to do anything too stupid like hurting herself or anything else that she would end up regretting.
However, the water-type knew better than to try to go to the girl or to attempt to calm her down. He glanced at the pack he'd been resting beside, thinking of the eggs that contained the babies he was to be father to. Fathom sighed, suddenly feeling heavy with burden. It was going to be one of those nights.
