The Eternal Senshi of Danger was not going to let his friend die. He wasn't sure what had brought him there, or what he was seeing, but he looked at a scene that made everything inside him boil to a maddening degree. Some agent of chaos, some poser Senshi, was spouting off and, worse than all that pompous attitude and evil intent, was hurting Sailor Grus.
Chaonis had very few friends. Even Grus would be stretched to call him that as easily as he called her it. To him, though, she was an important part of his training and his team, his faction, his life. No one was going to take her out of it if he had a say in the matter.
And at the moment, he did.
"You brave enough to put money on that, Army Brat?" He called from behind her, hands folded into tight fists, eyes glued on Sailor Leto with far less than good intentions. He was not the kind of guy to have any qualms about hitting a girl. Especially a girl that was trying to kill someone he cared about. He'd beat her face so hard it'd fall off, if he had to. And he felt very inclined to do that, just watching the scene.
In a way Chaonis was a simple young man. He fought for what he believed in, which to comparison to most senshi out there, of any form, was very little. Still, he was loyal to those that needed him. Grus needed him. And he was there.
His expression was set to match his title. Dangerous. He watched her with his dark eyes, ready to call his attack and get the party really started. His gaze didn't flicker to Grus, though he was worried about her. he had a fight at hand, and would not be distracted from it now.
"Try some of that preachy stuff on me. Just see what happens. You want to kick the s**t out of someone? It's only fair to take some in return. I'm going to break every damn bone in your body. Let's see if you can get back to your planet in pieces, eh?" So he had only caught the gist of what they had been saying to each other? Things like 'facts' and 'emotions' weren't going to stop him from butting in. He didn't care who believed what, or why they were fighting.
All he knew was his friend needed help.

Sailor Leto froze when she felt the aura come up behind her- that of an Eternal Senshi. She’d be lying if she said she didn’t like the idea of the challenge, but somehow getting pummeled by an Eternal Senshi while the Super behind her would eventually get up and likely help him out didn’t sound too appealing.
She turned on her heel to face Sailor Chaonis, not about to give him the satisfaction of mouthing off to her back. She flicked her wrist of her right hand, sending her mirrorwraith diving through Sailor Grus. She had no intention of letting her get up and give the Eternal any back-up in this, so her mirrorwraith went to work on draining the Super Senshi’s energy.
“You have two choices, pretty boy,” Leto said to Chaonis with a grin. “You and I tango so I stop beating on your little friend,” she motioned behind her to Grus who was laying on the floor after the wraith had passed through her once. “Or you stop my mirrorwraith from draining her into unconsciousness. Which is it gonna be?”
She figured it probably wouldn’t be a very bright idea to just go at this guy with fists swinging. Even with her BMC training, he looked like he could probably kick her a**. So instead, she’d chat him up until she was able to grab her mirrorwraith and call her attack a second time so she could run off and find a mirror. This was her buying her time.
Hopefully.

Grus felt the aura before she saw Chaonis, and relief flooded her. He must have been the one she had sent the message to! The appearance of the Eternal Senshi meant that she was going to be helped, and even though her jaw was still aching, she managed a smile...until she saw just how mad he was. He looked ready to kill, and she hoped that she wouldn't have to witness Chaonis destroying Leto. His face was the scariest part, all cold and angry. Then, she really didn't feel like moving, though nerves mixed with excitement. Was he really that upset? Was it because it was her, or just because she was a senshi being beaten to hell and they were on the same side?
She didn't have time to explore this thought further because suddenly, the fog raced toward her. She shouted, popping her jaw as she felt the creature enter her body. The banter was lost to her as she felt the energy being sucked from her. Her arms stared to feel heavy, and she couldn't move her legs.
"Camouflage." she managed to shout at Chaonis "Her magic..is camouflage!"

Chaonis watched Sailor Leta, scowling when he saw the wraith thing moving to Grus. He had no idea what that was, or how to beat it, but he never worried about things like that until it was almost too late. For now, he would just wing it.
Unfortunately, he was not the kind of guy who took to ultimatums very well. He also was not patient, and did not believe in that whole 'talking' thing. His fists, besides his face, were his best attributes as far as he was concerned. Since she wasn't interested in looking at him and giving up to his charm and the weight of his sheer awesomeness alone, it meant he was going to have to chase her off the old fashioned way.
"Stay strong, Grus. I know you can," he said, his voice sturdy and dark.
He grinned at Leto then, shaking his head. Apparently, he was going with option number one. Only he was more than willing to change the rules to suit him. He charged forward, yelling out his attack.
"Warning! Epic Hazards!"
He immediately felt a boost of strength and speed flooding his body, aided by the force of his anger and his dire need to protect his friend. Just as immediately, everything around him started to go wrong. Anything that could be impacted by his magic was: anything that could break, did. The ground started to split and a violent shaking, isolated to the area of the battle and starting just beyond Chaonis' feet, seized them. The damage his Danger attack was causing was completely out of his control: he could not target it at anyone or anything. But he could control his fists, which he swung for Leto's gut.

So apparently with this guy talking wasn’t much of an option. In another time, when they were on the same side, Leto thought she probably would’ve gotten along with this guy pretty well.
Unfortunately for her though, that wasn’t the case in the least bit. Panic began to well up in her throat when windows of the buildings on either side of them began to shatter and the ground under their feet began to split and shake. Distracted by the world seemingly coming to an end in the alleyway, she most definitely didn’t expect the fist that just connected with her gut.
She doubled over almost immediately from both the impact of the punch and the shaking of the ground. Gasping for air she reached for the dumpster that Grus was once hiding behind. <********,” she spat. Clearly her manners had escaped her in that moment. Her mirrorwraith passed through Grus a second time, Leto noticed out of the corner of her eye. Once more and she would be unconscious and her shard would reform with the wraith inside of it and she could go. She just needed more time.
She clenched her teeth and forced herself up on top of the dumpster. Time to use some old school WWF wrestling moves, apparently! She jumped off of the dumpster and launched herself at Chaonis in an attempt to tackle him to the ground.

She nodded at his words, forcing herself into a sitting position. She was very glad she did a moment later.
Grus could only watch as Chaonis powered up. She now knew why he was the Senshi of Danger. The whole freaking alley started shaking, and she could feel the ground bucking. A window overhead shattered, sending a wave of glass over her head, but her arms were too heavy for her to cover. The fog passed out of her, and she sighed, feeling as if she had just finished her third day of two-a-days for volleyball after a summer of being lazy and laying around the house. She saw the wraith come at her again, and she winced, feeling her energy being further sucked away. A gasp escaped and she fell forward, landing with her head on her arms. It was exhausting just to breathe.

"That's just unladylike," Chaonis said with a grin. He liked it when things went according to 'plan'. If that word could be applied to three seconds of thought and a lack of impulse control. Still, that was what fighting was all about. Split second reactions.
When she leapt at him he made to catch her, not about to let some girl with football paint on her face get the better of him. Anyway, he had seen her coming, was a fairly strong guy, and not the smallest as far as his height and muscles went. So he was confident she was not going to get much by trying to jump on him.
He was mostly right.
Stumbling, he made to turn them around so he could at least land on top of her and not get stuck under her from the attack. He was not interested in letting her get any sort of advantage. His eyes flickered to Grus, though he told himself not to look, and he saw how weak she had become. Crap and more crap.
"You need a little ghost doing your dirty work for you, huh?" he grunted with a laugh, shaking his head. "Pathetic. Couldn't man up enough to make it as a White Moon? Had to p***y out to something that gives you toys to play with?"
He swung his fist for her face, but he had to get to Grus. He was already scrambling away from her, shoving her down hard into the ground as he leaped back to his feet and moved to see if he couldn't do something to help her. The violent shaking, earth splitting and random damage continued, but the time limit was quickly running out.

“I never made any promises about being ladylike,” she said with a grin right back at him. Standing at only 5’3”, she was easily caught when she leapt at him. They collided to the ground with a thud and the earth began to split where they landed. She looked up at him now that he was on top of her.
“Hey now, we just met. Don’t you think we’re moving a little fast?” Sailor Leto winked at him, a sly expression plastered on her face. “And considering I lack any sort of d**k between my legs, no I guess I wasn’t man enough to be a White Moon Senshi.” She squirmed underneath him while she spoke, trying to get free.
Then before she knew it, his fist slammed into her face and he was off of her in seconds. Hot tears sprang to her eyes as she desperately tried to push herself to her feet, her entire face aching with pain. Holy s**t.
The mirror wraith passed through Sailor Grus a third and final time before it slipped back inside of her shard and she gripped it with every bit of her being.
Leto glanced over at Grus, who would soon be slumping over. She wasn’t entirely sure if 3 passes would cause a Super Senshi to go unconscious, but she quickly decided that she didn’t want to stick around to find out.
“Leto Camoflage Illusion,” she choked out with a sob, not realizing how badly her abdomen and face were hurting from the blows she took from Chaonis. She flickered out of sight to the two Senshi, using the destroyed alley to her advantage in blending in with her surroundings. She slowly began to crawl towards the opening of the alley, desperately hoping that while Chaonis was distracted by Grus that she could make her escape and find a mirror.

It was an intense fight, one that Grus watched wearily. She had no physical strength left. The only energy she felt was holding onto her fuku. Chaonis seemed to be winning, until the girl threw herself on top of him. The ground underneath her body still shook, like the aftershocks of an earthquake.
What the heck was his power anyway? she thought fuzzily, glancing at the ruined alleyway. Some construction workers were going to make a fortune cleaning this mess up.
The wraith hung above her silently, mocking her inability to move. She silently willed it away, but it passed through her again, and she gasped, feeling the last of her power, that warmth from the planet Grus, wither away. She felt cold, and oh so tired. The fuku around her started to sparkle, and she panicked. Now was not the time to be changing back. She shut her eyes, holding her breath in an effort to keep the magic there.
But eventually she had to breathe. And the pain in her entire body was threatening to consume her. Her vision went black, and the fuku around her started to melt away, reverting slowly back to jeans, a cozy blue sweatershirt, and vans shoes. Castille wouldn't feel this though. She was out like a light, curled up in a ball.

Chaonis had to focus on Grus now, though his every instinct told him to find the damn vanishing camo girl and beat her to a pulp. He hated cheap tactics, and hated that she had vanished, and most of all he hated losing fights. Not winning was a loss, even if he hadn't ended up flat on the floor or injured.
That wasn't acceptable, yet accept it he had to.
"Grus," he said, skidding on his padded knees to her side, forcing his mind away from the dark senshi he could no longer see. Instead, he checked Grus' pulse, quickly realized he had no idea what he was looking for and no training a nurse or girly man, and put his hand flat on her chest to see if he could feel her heart beating that way.
If things weren't obvious, they did not fly for Chaonis.
He cradled her, shielding her as her fuku vanished and left her in her civilian clothes. Picking Castille up, he decided he had to get her to a hospital. Right now. The ruined alley way and unfinished fight just had to be forgotten about and left for someone else to deal with.
Though, if he found Leto again, he would finish the fight for Grus himself. It was his fight now, too.
"Just hold on, I'll get you somewhere safe. Don't you do something stupid like die," he ordered grumpily, though really he was just scared.

As Leto began to shimmer back into existence, she quickly glanced over her shoulder to see Chaonis huddled over Grus. What Leto didn’t know was that the female Senshi had reverted back to civilian form, but luckily for Grus, Leto couldn’t see her.
She could faintly hear Chaonis talking to the girl, which definitely meant his attention was pulled away from her. She stuffed her mirrorshard back into its sac and tucked it safely back into her left bracer. At least she had one advantage tonight- being so close to home meant she knew where every single mirror was conveniently placed because she was the one who put them there. She quickly slipped around a familiar corner, trying her best to avoid eye contact with any one that she happened to pass by as a bruise formed on her face and blood dripped from her cracked lip.
Spotting the mirror, she let out a sigh of relief and just sort of… Stumbled and fell onto it. The surface of the mirror moved under her and seemed to absorb her, and with that Sailor Leto was gone.

Movement. She was moving. But how was she moving? Her legs couldn't move...
No...she was floating.....now that didn't make sense...
Her eyes cracked open, but her blurred vision only showed strange shapes and colors that didn't make sense to her aching head. Where was she? Last thing she remembered was Leto coming after her with that damn wraith...
Leto! Castille realized she couldn't feel her henshin power!
Her eyes opened wider, and she attempted to move, only to find herself being carried. That was the floating feeling. But who...?
Her eyes fell on Chaonis, and she blinked a couple times. Oh yeah. He'd come to help her hadn't he? Then the pain hit her. Her whole body ached, the main points being on her jaw, and back. She let out a small gasp, hands clenching into weak fists. "Jesus..."

"You can call me that if you want," Chaonis said to her, looking relieved and trying to hide it as she snapped out of her daze at least long enough to react to the pain she felt. Pain was good: pain told her and told him that she was alive. No pain was bad. Something would be terrible wrong if she was feeling no pain.
"It was a damn miracle I showed up to save your a**."
He tried not to jostle her too much as he climbed up to leap from roof tops, getting him to the hospital faster. He landed heavily each time though, as he was not a light footed elf or some kind of ballerina, but he did what he could. Soon enough, he was approaching the hospital.
It seemed he was getting good at carrying his friends to the hospital. That did not sit well with him.
He powered down, struggling a bit more to carry her as he adjusted to not having his boost in strength, but not dropping her. He moved toward the Emergency entrance. "If I get stuck here for hours just checking you in I'm not going to be happy," he warned her, making no indication that he wouldn't do it, though.

Castille attempted a smile at his humor, her face protesting the movement. They weren't walking now. They were leaping on rooftops and each time he landed, she winced as her back groaned. "Well I'm glad you were there to help me out." She said once the pain had subsided. "That girl was insane."
Suddenly she remembered that she wasn't in her fuku. This kid knew her identity now! She wondered if Leto had seen her. Oh this was bad. Badbadbadbad! What if she did? Her family might be in danger! She was too busy worrying about the fate of her identity to realize they were going to the hospital. But when the bright lights of the front showed clearly, she said "The hospital? Am I really that bad looking right now?"
He was right. She was damn lucky he showed up. She had no idea that the...Black Moon? Dark Moon? Freakin Evil Moon?..senshi were so powerful. And it didn't help that she lost her temper....that was her first mistake. By losing her temper she lost her edge. And the battle. She was sure she would get an earful about her poor battling techniques as soon as it was decided that she was ok. Right now, she felt like she needed to sleep for a good day or so...
She blinked a couple times as his fuku too, disappeared. She smirked saying "Well, we all know hospitals are a pain. If you want to just drop me off here..." After the spots were from her eyes, she looked back, and if her mouth could have dropped, it would have. The rest of her sentence faded away, replaced by one shocked word.
"N-Nate?!"

"Surprise," Nate said softly, though he didn't exactly want her drawing attention to them. He was sure no one had seen them, just as sure as he was that the dark senshi hadn't seen her, but it was still too reckless, even for him, to push his luck more.
He had been subtle about it, why couldn't she?
Really, though, he had been too caught up in his worry to really take in the fact that Grus ended up being the same girl that gave him a hard time all the time, about his attitude or the way he talked to his dad, or whatever. Still, it could have been worse. It could have been someone he really hated.
He rarely took in to account how the other person felt about him when he decided who were his friends and who were not. So, regardless of Castille felt about him, he considered her one of his 'friends'. That didn't grant her any better treatment then with his enemies, really, but at least he was there for her when she needed it. Or least expected it.
"Alright, in we go," he said, carrying her into the emergency entrance, where there was a desk and a few rows of chairs where people with medical emergencies were apparently supposed to wait. Maybe he had the definition of emergency wrong. "Hey! This girl needs help right now!" He sounded more annoyed then he did worried, but that was just how he rolled.
