August laughed, "yes, yes i admit to being one of them. but really, with so much shiny brawn flashing at me can you really blame me for admiring the view?" he looked at the man who'd finally stopped struggling and nodded, "yes i believe i shall go along with you. the police should be capable of freeing him of those bindings." he left a generous tip on the counter and gave Rush a small smile before heading out. "besides, it wont do for me to be found in the middle of a bar fight. they will probably figure out i was there, but as long as i'm not on the scene when they show up things should work out all right." he turned to look at the few wounded, but saw they were already being helped by their friends so felt no guilt there.

August grinned, "i think i can manage, besides, my place is futher away than yours." he turned to leave, but then stopped himself, "oh, and it's not my past that makes me think it's best to leave early. it's my part time jobs. well then, see you." he waved happily and head off towards his own home, humming softly

August walked to his little shop with his normal cup of tea that he bought at the little coffee shop at the end of his street. he unlocked the door, humming to himself, but he sensed the two officers walking up before they spoke and sighed. he turned to look at them and smiled, "was wondering when i'd get a visit. come on it and i'll give you a full report on what happened last night." he opened the door for them and followed them inside after looking down at the construction site. he wondered if Biron was there yet. probably, work was already starting. he shrugged and walked into the shop to give the officers his side of what had happened and explain why he'd left before they got there

August had spoken to the officers for a short time about the bar, but then he'd spent a lot longer just talking shop and seeing how they were doing. he knew and was friends with most of the officers in the area. he'd seen them off with a wave and went back to work. he had several costumers, as usual and come lunch time he decided to go out to eat rather than make something in the small kitchen he had in the back. he decided to head to a good little resturant that was somewhat near the construction sight and started down that direction. he a distinctive figure coming towards him as he was near the resturant and smiled, "fancy meeting you here, Biron. heading to lunch as well?"

August smiled, "this is it, 'August Books'. Not a very original name, but it suits my purposes. there is a nice little resturant down the way, which is where i was heading. if you would like you can join me. i'd enjoy the company, food is best when shared with others, no?"

August laughed, "no, that would be a quote from someone i knew a long long time ago." someone who had been very near and dear to his heart. "well then, i will say this Sir Biron, you are in for a treat. it's small but to those who know it Peter's is the best place to eat in town." he lead the way to the little resturant and waved to the waiter who smiled and waved back before indicating he should seat himself. he went to an open table and took it, menu's arriving moments later, appearing out of no where. "Peter," he nodded to the waiter, who wasn't really waiting, just going from table to table and talking, "was a famous chef before the Fallout. now he's discovered that his abilities lie in the same field." he looked over the menu and said, "a japanese number 3 please." he closed the menu and it dissapeared, in it's place was a freshly cooked meal. "see? he has to keep a small shop since he couldn't manage to do this with a large resturant, btu he likes it this way. it's more personal."

August laughed, "yes, i would agree with you on that. he loved what he does so much that it became his ability. if only all of us had been so lucky, though you seem to have an ability that suits you as well. did you have to change your career as well after the fallout?"

August lifted an eyebrow, "i see, very interesting. i might like to have seen that." it was almost as if they had traided positions, but August's body hadn't really been changed because of the fallout. he took a bite of sushi and chewed it thoughtfully.
