After a good long while, Grus decided that it was high time to abandon her plan and made the first left turn she could. This proved to be a good idea, as the shape of the maze changed again. She found a broken mirror, the wall bare where it used to sit, and she sighed. Hopefully none of the other people in the maze were responsible for this. She pushed her armlet down across her palm, and carefully picked up the larger portions of glass. Her wrist protested being moved; it was still swollen and bruised from the battle at Virgo. But once the larger pieces were out of the way she continued on her journey through the maze.

It was a newly discovered portion of Leo's outpost, the place she had called home for the majority of this bizarre trip. So, of course Roxy was going to be curious enough to explore it. There might be something neat, something to find, something to take along back to the pillow fort.
Mirrors wasn't something she really wanted to find though. Her shoulders slumped when she saw the reflective surfaces, knowing full well what could possibly pop out of them - she had been to that fiasco of a informational meeting. But there was no turning back now and the blonde really wished she had a lead pipe or something just in case something popped out at her.
So as quickly as she could, with her shoulders rigid and tense, she stomped through the first section of the maze. Yellow eyes glanced around at the path, sharp and snap decisions coming to her head as she made her way through and to the second part without a hitch.
Thank goodness for a good sense of direction.

A broken mirror. That didn't seem ominous at all. Nope. Roxy's eyes fellow on the pile, staring almost mystified and curious about what the deal was with the shattered mirror. Unless someone was not too keen with the decision of the Princess and decided to screw the rules and bust the mirrors.
This was totally not her fault though and Roxy could only think of how someone would try to place the blame on her for this or something. No, that was not going to happen and the blonde mustered herself up to use the side of her shoe to slide the bits and pieces on the ground into a neater pile by the broken frame.
Fingering the hem of her coat, Roxy pressed on to the next section and as far as she could to the mess that she was in no way going to be blamed for.

Well.
At least this place had no mirrors, Roxy observed as she surveyed the new area she had stumbled upon. It was a mess though and it was hard to tell if there was much worth while in here. Was it worth investigating?
The blonde paused, taking her time to take it in and weigh her options. Mill about and see if there were neat things hiding in nooks and crannies or just get the hell out of dodge. Both were so tempting really and she could almost hear the voices of a few of her friends stating their opinions and trying to sway hers; as if they were little shoulder angels.
There were no mirrors here so she could deem herself safe enough, but as amazing as her sense of direction was it was still a little off here and who knew how far into this maze she really was.
But in the end, as she ventured forward and hopefully out, Roxy found herself edging closer to the large chunks of debris and peering around for specks of interest.

The turns right and left became more frequent, and Grus started to lose track of how many turns she made. Everything started to look the same... She pressed on one of the mirrors, thinking maybe there was a secret path or something. But no magic door appeared. She had to do this the hard way.
Maybe...her gaze turned upwards, and she bent her knees, jumping into the air. She didn't hit the ceiling, it was too high up. But she could see lines of mirror walls, and her place in the maze. She was a little over halfway through the room. She landed, smiling. It wasn't right to cheat, but hey? If you have an advantage...

Now that Darwin thought he knew what to do, it seemed like he was getting somewhere. Well, maybe; it was hard to tell. He hadn't passed anything familiar, but by now it was all looking the same, so perhaps he was going in circles again.
Perhaps the rats were in league with the squirrels. He sure felt like a rat in a maze. The space rats were probably watching and laughing at all the stupid humans.

" Eureka!"
A door. Darwin saw a door and Darwin was happy. Hopefully the door lead to a giant chocolate trophy, or at least an out. Despite not having been in the maze for long, he was already quite sick of it.
Darwin opened the door slowly, half-afraid he'd see more maze on the other side, but instead he saw the familiar space of Leo. Breathing a sigh of relief, Darwin left the maze, sticking his tongue out at the door as it closed behind him.
The heck with mazes. The next time Darwin managed to get a hold of a not-alien he was going to put in some entertainment requests. Like for his DS/

After only a few more turns, she was lost again. "Damnit." she mumbled, trailing her hand along the mirror. "Well, it helped a little last time..." She jumped into the air again, seeing her current path to be a dead end. So she backtracked slightly, taking another turn. This part of the maze proved to be the hardest yet.

Some time passed before she heard someone else walking through the maze. Her step slowed, and she peeked around a corner to see who it was. Grus didn't recognize them, but they seemed to know where they were going, so she followed them for a spell....
Until they too ran into a dead end. She mentally ground, and back tracked, trying from her original position. many of the mirrors were smudged with her fingerprints, so she could kindof tell where she'd already been.

Just when Grus was about to make another leap into the air, another person appeared! She thought it suspicious that two people would show up so quickly. What if they weren't real people? Her imagination went to a place where people died in a mirror maze, and haunted their resting place, scaring maze goers into getting hopelessly lost. This one seemed to be doing the same, thought she doubted they were a ghost.
Once they turned a corner, she jumped upwards, seeing their path to also be a dead end. She went the opposite direction, putting distance between her and her imagined fate.

Valhalla made a mental note to himself which Outposts were being taken care of. The mirrors in Chronos Outpost were being removed and taken to Earth, and he was sure that Virgo Outpost was almost finished as well. It was just the other Outposts that he hadn't really visited before that he didn't know the status of.
One of the civilians in the Leo Outpost pointed him in the direction of the room he was currently in, saying that they'd cleaned up mirrors there. So far, though, all he could see were paintings. Part of him wondered, as he made his way down the hall, if there was a possibility that the civilian had lied to him. But why would they? They knew the threat that was posed by the mirrors. If they believed the mirrors were portals for Chaos to get through, that is.
The page of Jupiter sighed as he turned the corner, expecting to find another set of paintings, but... stared in disbelief as he did indeed find a mirror. There were several, in fact. It seemed as though the rest of the hall was covered in mirrors. Well, s**t...
He moved over to the first mirror, searching for the edge so he could try and pry it off, but try as he might it wouldn't budge. Were they magically held into place? Valhalla wished he'd brought tape with him, because then he could have at least tried to prevent the DMC from getting through, or at least hinder them as they tried to get the tape off as they came through. If that even worked. No, for now he would just leave the mirrors as they were and call for backup. They should be able to either close off the room to keep from going in or out, or somehow get the mirrors off the walls and taken to Earth.
But they weren't just walls of mirrors, as Valhalla was quickly finding out as he attempted turning down another hall. It was a freaking maze of mirrors!! He frowned, wary of the predicament he was in right now. The likelihood of members of the DMC coming through the mirrors right then were... well, he didn't know that percentage, but he wasn't thrilled about any chance of being caught in the cross fire, or somehow turned into one of their members.
The DMC reminded him vaguely of the Borg. Assimilating and destroying everything in their path. They were in space, after all!
He cursed as he ran into a dead end and backed up to look for another way to go. Eventually he found the exit... or was it just the beginning? As he entered the second part of the maze, his stomach churned uneasily. Not only was he stuck in a room filled with mirrors, but he was lost in a maze. Wonderful.

"Jeez..." Valhalla mumbled to himself as he made his way through the halls, glancing at himself in the mirror a couple times and then grimacing at how worried he looked. It wasn't like a member of the DMC was going to jump through a mirror and grab him, right? He was getting just a little too paranoid...
He turned the corner and nearly jumped when he heard a crunch of glass under his feet. Looking down, though, he realized it was only shards of broken mirror. He sincerely hoped that it had been an accident, and that the person was okay. He sighed lightly and began to brush the pieces to the side with his boot, mumbling to himself about inconsiderate people and not cleaning up after themselves. Of course, he didn't have a trashcan with him, so the best he could do was just push stuff together and hope that no one could come behind him and hurt themselves.
It was bad enough to have to worry about mirrors when they were intact, but to worry about them when they were broken? Yeah... that just made things more complicated...
Either way, Valhalla looked up to notice another door and he couldn't help but hope that it was the way out. He was already on edge from being around so many mirrors...

Busy, busy, busy.
Ganymede didn't think he'd ever been so busy in his entire life. But then he'd never really had very much to do in life before now, what with all the partying he'd done back then. Trying to do the whole adult thing was obviously quite different, yet he was managing it. Somehow. He honestly had no clue how, considering he avoided energy drinks and most forms of caffeine like the plague. Desperation, maybe? It wasn't like he had much of a choice in the matter.
He did have a choice in whether or not he wanted to continue to help up at the Surrounding, and though he was still a bit angry about the mirror situation, he had agreed to do it Chronos's way, even if he didn't like it. He didn't trust the rest of them to do it right anyway, and what better way was there to make sure things got done as they were supposed to than to do it himself?
He hadn't yet been to Leo Outpost, so when he finally arrived and heard of an entire room full of mirrors, he was a little annoyed. Okay, a lot annoyed. Why did things always have to be so difficult?
Upon coming across the room, he initially had no idea what people had been talking about. All he saw were paintings. And a bunch of dead ends. Where the hell was he even supposed to be going in this place? There had to be something wrong with this room. He just... wasn't getting anywhere. It was horrendously frustrating, and considering the situation they were all in was already frustrating enough... The constant arrival of dead end after dead end was making him want to pull his hair out.
Eventually he came to a stop, remained in place, closed his eyes, and took a couple of deep breaths to get himself back under control and think of the best way to go about getting out of this mess.
Right. He'd just take routes that didn't look familiar at all, in the hopes that he wouldn't come across any of the dead ends he'd already found. And if he found even more after that, well... no one could blame him for getting frustrated again.
And then... there were mirrors. Curse all the mirrors. The temptation to just screw it all and break one of them was strong, but he wasn't in the mood to get his a** handed to him, so he didn't. Sadly.

A maze of mirrors was not exactly something he'd been looking forward to. That just meant there were even more mirrors to deal with than he'd originally thought, more chances for the DMC to come through and cause havoc and potentially do very bad things to unsuspecting civilians. In some ways he hoped one would come through right now -- not only because he would take great pleasure in telling the others "I told you so," but he didn't think he'd mind taking out some aggression by punching them in the face.
Instead, nothing. At least as far as he was aware. Just mirrors and more mirrors. He kept an ear out for anything suspicious but didn't see or hear anything at all. It only made him more suspicious. Everything always happened when they least expected it.
But then if he was expecting it, it wasn't least expected anymore, so then...it had to happen when they expected it... but nothing was happening now, so...
Ganymede shook his head. This was dumb. He was being dumb. He needed to get out of here and figure out what they were going to do about this place, because even if nothing was happening now, it was still dangerous.
As he went along, he found pieces of a shattered mirror on the floor. He vaguely wondered if someone had been as frustrated as he was and decided to go around shattering things left and right, but since there was no one around to ask, he could only assume. It was a nice thought, so he went with it, and used his foot to push some of the shards off to the side to prevent anyone else who might happen to come through here from stepping in it.

Grus felt like she was getting closer to the end of this freaky maze. There was a reflection of stone ahead, and she sprinted to it, but alas, it was only another part of the maze. But this part was devoid of mirrors. All that was visible was a pile of debris in the middle of the floor. She edged toward it, poking at the mess with a boot.
She decided she didn't want to clean it up or even touch it, and continued on her path.
