Sirius had been watching the meeting from the back. Her eyes had lingered on Maia for a while remembering she wasn't at the meeting where Ares came and took her few. She watched her for a while before listening to what everyone else was saying. It seemed only Castor made sense.
She didn't say anything, She didn't see the point of adding anything. She had covered mirrors at her house but that didn't mean a thing as Ares had never known where she had lived but it had calmed Birhan at the time.
"The DMC are the Dark Mirror Court. Led by Princess Ares, one a parallel senshi." She thought she might as well answer Hephaistos as she heard the question. She had nothing else to say on the matter though.

"Putting tape over the smaller mirrors is a good idea." Chronos told Europa, with a nod. So was the suggestion about putting them facing the walls. "Well, there are some places in the Surrounding that are inaccessible, but if we're thorough enough, we can gather as many as we can find." She bit her lip. Camelot had brought up a thought. What if a DMC member came from within one of the forbidden Outposts, or even the Temple, and decided to start destroying it from the inside? Hopefully, that wouldn't happen. But it was a thought that lingered in her mind, and bothered her.
"I am pretty sure that they weren't here before." Chronos stated firmly. "The Surrounding is the grounds of the Zodiac Court. Any of you would not have been allowed here if you weren't escorted by a Zodiac... with the exception of the civilians." But then that brought up the issue of why they could access mirrors in the Surrounding. Was it because the Surrounding was not properly restored, and Chaos could somehow manipulate that to its advantage? Did that have to do with the civilians as well?
"There are all very good suggestions." The Princess said. "It's probably best if we decide on what we want to do; trying a variety of ideas wouldn't hurt." There was a slight smile directed towards Szczeonsny and Sheila, accompanied with an appreciative nod.
There was a smile directed at Celsus when she noticed his presence, and then she went on to address Ate. "Well, does anyone even know how many DMC members there are? I'd rather know where they'd come from instead of having sneak up on us. And I don't think it's a good idea to throw away the mirrors. Where would we do that? And personally, I'm against that." Her tone was firm.
Flora was content with simply listening to the rest of the ideas, bobbing her head as she considered them all. A smile of acknowledgement was returned to Celsus and a slight eyeroll at Ate's ideas. It wasn't as though the Surrounding had a rubbish bin they could dump all the mirrors into. That, and the Zodiacs would object. Flora would too. There was history in the mirrors, after all. "Well, we have a Prince and a Princess here." She said, trying to inject some optimism in. "Ares is strong, though."
Purified? Chronos' breath caught as she looked at Castor. "Well, I guess I did purify the Zodiacs in Barren Pines, but I guess that was a different situation entirely. I've never... tried though. But we have been training, and it could be worth a shot." After all, Chibi and Lina had both been purified. If they could pull back their allies, it would certainly prove to be useful in the war.
"Something to do with Ares's Court being corrupted by Chaos and being able to walk through mirrors." Flora murmured to Hephaistos. At least that was that brief version of what she understood. Then to Regulus, she said. "Well, we have to try our best! We have other options after all. Like maybe taping up the mirrors that are more difficult to move. And if there are two mirrors in a room, we can have them face each other or something."

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying 'don't try', I'm just saying that from what I've seen, we don't think we can stick 'em all in a closet or something, but right now having everyone scattered is going to make it that much harder to defend them. That's all I'm worried about."
For all they knew right now, the idea that they could only travel through large mirrors was a crock, and they could secretly use broken mirrors to... hell... clone themselves or something.
And trying to get the civilians into one place was going to be a nightmare in and of itself. They'd been allowed to roam around large in part so far, they'd really resent being shipped to one outpost.

Maia looked to Castor as he spoke happy that he said nothing of what Ares had already tried to do to her. It was true Maia had left the BMC before the meeting that created the monster that was Ares and her knowledge of the event was minimal at best, but she had her own experience with the new Ares. She had come out of a mirror and caught Maia by surprise before she even knew what was going on. She could still feel the hand around her throat cutting of her airway if she thought about it.
She was listening intently to what everyone voiced wanting to help if she could. She knew a little about the parallel having been apart of the BMC under Ares' command. Still she wasn't an expert at all and she was desperately wishing Zirconia would show up. One it would be a nice comfort, two Zirconia would know more than anyone here. She wondered if she should try to find the other.
She frowned at the question about the DMC sighing lightly, not wanting to really think on how Ares had made a new group from chaos. Ares aura was choking especially angry.
She looked to Celsus and shook her head, "I do not really think we need to worry about ambush. I not certain, but I do not think the DMC are many. I mean I can't say for certain, but they are only just formed. The biggest threat I see is, as Castor said, Ares. Still Flora is right we do have a prince and a princess here, not that I'd want anyone to go up against Ares, but we all know their will be times when it happens."
She looked up and gave a smile at Regulus, "there are a ton of mirrors, thats true, but it might work to have them gather at least one room per outpost. Cover them to confuse or stick them together or turn them to a wall to slow them down the DMC and have a guard to alert the others if something comes up. Unfortunately this is all guess work. We aren't parallel senshi, we don't know how it works. If we work in teams I think we can make it work."
She smiled at Chronos happy to see a bit of optimism and feeling a bit better now that a few minute back. She released Camelot's tunic and looked around breifly to see who all had gathered.

"Ares, Requiem, Gaia and Leto are the ones we know about." Sirius answered the question asked. "She promised to kill or turn us all, so how many more is anyone's guess." She didn't say who 'us' was as she was pretty certain that actually Ares would turn anyone, she believed that she was in the right and that everyone else was wrong. Sirius wouldn't put it past her to change any senshi that was unaware, after all they hadn't all been willing.
She looked at Chronos as she spoke of course.
"Whatever you do, don't under estimate Ares. She will always be one of the smartest senshi I know." Though it saddened her, a brilliant senshi was now full of Chaos and how strongly Ares believed in what she was now doing. It was scary, and Sirius was terrified but she wouldn't show it.

"We have to at least try," agreed Europa, shooting Maia a brief but approving nod. She set her roll of duck tape aside and went digging back into her backpack, coming up with two more rolls. "This is all I brought with me," she said, setting those aside as well, "But it should be enough to get started. I'll go home and come back with more, if anyone thinks we'll need it-"
She bit her lip and forced herself to meet Regulus's stare, awkward as it might be. "You've got a point," Europa granted. "With civilians wandering around all willy-nilly, we can't possibly keep track of where they all are." She'd only been on the Surrounding a few hours - not nearly enough time to get a grasp of what was going on - but she was just going with what she'd seen. "Certainly no one should be wandering around the far reaches of the outposts on their own."
Tempting as it was to go exploring in someplace as magical as Chronos castle, people were going to have some self control now that they knew there were Youma and DMC senshi about. It was just a recipe for disaster.
Europa looked back at Chronos. "I passed Libra an my way here from Virgo - it's closed off, isn't it?" she asked. Where was Giselle, that she wasn't at her outpost? The senshi of the deep felt a pang of worry. "Are the barriers keeping us out two-way, or can something come from the outposts, but not go back into it? We certainly don't want them to wreck whatever they can get their hands on, but if there's no way for them to get out to the rest of the Surrounding from there..."
She pursed her lips, thinking it over. "Alternately," Europa asked the princess, "Is there a way to lower the barrier temporarily, secure the outpost, and then put it back up?"
It was a long shot. Zodiac magic was beyond her comprehension.

Ate rolled her eyes at the princesses answer, she wasn't sure she could even roll her eyes at a princess and get away with it but she did it either way. She obviously hadn't explained herself, maybe it was the accent? She couldn't tell but she tried to get her message across even if it wasn't used.
"I didnt mean throw them away - away. I meant like put them in a place where we could monitor them from in the surrounding so as not to get attacked from inside the outposts. We can still have guards but at least they wouldn't be attacking at night right next to our beds while the civilians are sleeping. But I guess that has its own drawbacks." She added with a shrug of her shoulders. She wasn't upset or anything that her idea had been misinterpreted but still she sat her self down and started to play with the helm of her skirt. She would listen now instead of saying her peace, just in case she got her head bitten off again.

"Well, we should assign a set number of Senshi and Knights to each Outpost then." Flora shrugged. She wasn't fond of the idea of having all the civilians in one place; what if there was an attack there and they had more casualties than need be? "We can rotate duties; standing guard at the Mirror Rooms," at least that was what she was going to dub them for now, "and keeping an eye on civilians." And also, try to figure out how to send them back home.
"Four, and possibly more." Chronos noted. "And if we link the appearance of the Dark Mirror Court with the strange youma attacks, I presume that they may have allied themselves with the Negaverse." It certainly seemed quite possible. While it wasn't a very pleasant thought, they had to consider all possibilities. Chaos was just that unpredictable. "I will never underestimate Chaos." She told Sirius firmly. "I've heard about Ares' strength and seen what she can do to incapacitate a room full of people." A formidable enemy indeed.
"Only Virgo, Aquarius, Leo, Gemini and here are accessible." The Princess told Europa. "The others are off-limits, and I don't think I can lower them unless the Zodiac in particular is here as well." That, and with the difficulty in restoring the Surrounding completely, Chronos was wary of her ability to tear the barrier down. The one over Barren Pines had taken significant strength from many, and that had been Negaverse magic. There was no knowing what could happen.

"You've got a point..." Regulus made a point of turning his attention to Ate. "We've all been kind of going at this as kind of a chaotic sort of salvation-army thing... but now that we know there's an actual -organized- threat, maybe we should see about checking peoples schedules and trying to get an reasonable rotating shift going... so that we can make sure we're getting some rest too, and dealing with our 'other life' crap..."
The BMC and Negaverse could play at being good little soldiers, so could they.
Europa was staring at him, which didn't do the slightest to make the meeting less awkward, but there were a lot more important things to deal with than getting eyeballed by his ex. He'd done his best to make sure the break up was civil, but the rumor mill, gleeful to sink it's fangs into any gossip about other peoples misery, suggested that he'd been one of the only ones not spreading rumors about the real reason for the break up... and reluctantly, he wasn't in the mood to play nice, or reward her with anything but a deadpan look.

Pasiphae preoccupied herself with folding and unfolding the sling she had originally worn when entering the Surrounding. She had still been nursing her injury from being stabbed by that Negaverse captain, a wound that hadn't been helped at all by her overexertion in the battle to save civilians before the dining hall blew up. After that experience, she had struggled even more with her parents. They didn't want to let her out of their sight; she couldn't blame them. First stabbed in the street, then at the meeting where a building exploded? Pasiphae had even intended to try and take it easy, to disengage herself to some extent from the war because injured she was even more useless than normal.
But then the call from Ganymede had come. Pasiphae couldn't deny aid to an ally in distress, especially one who had helped her in the past. It had taken more effort than normal to sneak out of her house and reach the statue that was the meeting point... and she wasn't sure what she could do, but she had to come and try to help. Seeing Europa, healed of her injuries from the building explosion, had led to the Eternal Senshi insisting that Pasiphae go to the infirmary to heal her own wound. Hence why she could now fiddle with the sling in her hands as she sat, glancing around to the familiar faces of Valhalla, Ganymede, and Europa for comfort and support. Her Jovian allies had always been eager and willing to work with her... if nothiing else, she could offer her presence for support.
Mostly, however, she sat to the side and watched the proceedings going on around her with a combination of interest and anxiety. Pasiphae was awed by Chronos; there was simply no other word to describe it. When she thought she could get away with it, the Shame Senshi stole small glances of the Zodiac Princess, a calming, almost motherly figure in white and gold. The pink wings especially enchanted her, as she had never seen anything like them before on a Senshi. It was similiar to how she felt when she had first seen Castor at the youma hunting competition that seemed so long ago, but without the taint of the prince's harshness regarding purification. Now, seeing the prince and princess side by side only contributed more to her desire to remain unseen. She still hadn't overcome her initial distaste for Castor's flamboyant attitude but... at least for now he seemed to be working for the common good.
There were too many faces she didn't know, but Pasiphae tried to at least follow the conversation that was moving on around her. Perhaps after all of this was over... she would be able to get introductions? It could prove important later, if they needed to call on one another... but that would have to wait until this pressing matter with the DMC was resolved. Really the only other familiar face was Maia, who seemed to be distressed. The teenager offered her a smile of reassurance, knowing it would probably do little but willing to make the effort.
"I... don't know anything about how to stop the mirrors," she admitted softly, her head bowed as she spoke. Even with her shoulder healed, she still felt the burden of how little she could physically do in order to aid her allies, Senshi, Knight, Zodiac, and cilivilian alike. "All I know is what Europa, Zirconia, and Kallichore have told me about the event, and now what I'm learning here. Everyone's ideas sound reasonable to me... and I'll follow whatever is decided." She paused here, licking her lips before forcing herself to continue, actually lifting her head to make sure that she was heard. "But maybe... while we're doing whatever we decide, we should make sure no one's caught alone? Pair up Senshi, Knights, and civilians, to help protect each other?"
Because Pasiphae could not forget the most underlying concern: civilians were, for all intents and purposes, trapped here, where danger could appear at apparently any time. Even the Senshi, Knights, and Zodiacs, though empowered, were not immune to danger. Keeping everyone safe... that had to be the first priority, right?

Sailor Cyllene sat on the ground with her back against the wall of the large room that the group was gathered in. When she first received the call from Ganymede to haul a** into space, a meeting of this scale was not exactly what she was expecting. She figured it would be a couple of Jovians getting together to discuss and maybe fight some evil s**t. Instead, she arrived to a room full of complete and utter strangers with a few Jovians sprinkled here and there and that intimidated the hell out of her.
While she strongly believed that she was a badass ********- there were a lot of Senshi and Knights alike in this room that were a thousand times stronger and therefore more badass by default than she was. It took a lot to keep Cyllene quiet and respectful, and this was definitely one of those times. She figured if she was her typical smart-assed, careless self that some super badass person would put her in her place. She eyed the chick with the pink wings, assuming she was some sort of princess that had been mentioned to her in the past. She wondered to herself how many princesses and princes existed- and if they were so powerful why they didn’t just get together and kick Ares’ a**. She shrugged silently to herself and did nothing but listen.
She rubbed her bloodshot eyes and let out a loud, drawn-out yawn. All this talk of Mirrors was getting awfully boring. “I’m pretty sure duct tape and a few mirrors looping won’t stop Ares,” she chimed in. “While some of the others may be lower leveled, I think that with her help they’d get through. Or what if they bring a knife with them after they Henshin, like we're bringing supplies? They could just cut through that s**t easy peasy.”
She fiddled with her gloves as she went silent for a moment. “I know it was mentioned that it ain’t an option… But I really do think that smashing the mirrors is the only way to keep those Chaos assholes outta here.” She really wasn’t speaking to anyone in particular. In fact, she didn’t even know if she was speaking loud enough for anyone to hear her.

Valhalla hadn't realized that he was holding his breath, but when he did he slowly released it. People were discussing their ideas on what to do, and that had been the idea all along. They should find a way to start covering or taping or whatever to mirrors around the Surrounding as soon as possible, definitely.
There were a lot of people he hadn't met or even seen before. The energy Castor was giving off seemed to be the most powerful of the group, so it was only natural for people to look towards him for advice. He'd probably been around the longest, after all.
"It would be a great undertaking if we planned on getting the mirrors to all one location," he said in response to Regulus's comment, agreeing that while getting them to all one place would be ideal, it might be best to do what they could per Outpost and then set up a perimeter to keep watch on everything.
"Paint may work," he said to Hephaistos's suggestion, but he shook his head lightly, obviously unsure about the idea. "The idea was not to ruin the mirrors though. So if we can get the paint off without damaging the glass, I don't see why that would be a problem. But if we're just going to ruin the mirrors, why not just break them all?" Valhalla would have continued on with explaining the DMC, but Sirius seemed to have that covered.
As for how many DMC senshi there were, he was suddenly reminded of what Kallichore had told him, and spoke up to answer Chronos. "An ally of ours," he said, indicating Ganymede and Europa (and then Pasiphae and Cyllene when he realized they were there as well, and gave them both a quick, small smile before continuing), "... was there when Ares became a Princess. She created mirrors and threw senshi through them too align them with Chaos. Please keep in mind that these people don't know themselves any more. Whether they wanted to follow Ares or not, they didn't really have a choice. They were changed." Europa had told them how her cousin, Leto had changed...
"Obviously I wasn't there, so if there's another version of the story and they went willingly..." he started, leaving room for someone to tell him he was wrong. But with the way Sirius was saying that they had to join Ares or be killed, he had a feeling that these people might not have been completely willing.
"If Ares can change senshi by throwing them through a mirror..."
This time he stopped himself, shutting his mouth and glancing around at the senshi around them, as well as the couple knights that were there; Camelot and Celsus. If senshi could be corrupted into Ares' court just by going through a mirror, maybe it was best to keep everyone as far away from mirrors as possible. Break them, even... He didn't want to see even more peoples' lives ruined.
He was glad to see Pasiphae there though, as she often came through with the voice of reason when disagreements were being made. Valhalla nodded lightly to her, "We'll do our best to protect each other."

"She can freaking create them now? Oh thats peachy." He noted, dripping sarcasm. Smashing the mirrors sounded better in that light, even if they weren't really sure that they hadn't lied about being unable to use broken mirrors... but if she could create them... What were her limitations on THAT? Could she just drop a mirror into this room and attack them?
"Spray Paint might work if we want to not have to clean up any more broken glass, but really the only ones that know for sure are the DMC themselves, and they're not really going to tell us "Oh here's a convenient way to keep us out."... Is there anything else they can walk through by the way, or is it just literal mirrors? I mean if they're popping up way the hell out here, do I have to worry about some DMC craze-ball trying to choke me when I get my breakfast out of the toaster?"

Ganymede was getting frustrated. There were too many different voices spouting off too much of the same thing, and not any real progress being made. He kept his mouth shut after his first few initial statements of agreement, if only because he hadn't had anything else to add to the discussion. There were obviously people present who knew way more about the DMC situation than he did, and he was content to let them do all the talking and explaining, but the wishy-washy decisions were beginning to grate on his nerves and he was starting to regret and second guess what he'd said before.
And then Cyllene spoke. He hadn't really known what to think of her at the first Jovian meeting, as she hadn't said much or really done anything to draw his attention, especially as he'd been too focused on being mad at Kallichore at the time, but he looked at her now and he thought she might be the only person standing around who actually had some brains.
"You know what," he said, raising his voice loud enough for everyone to hear, and dropping all manner of friendliness and support in order to do what he did best -- b***h and complain. "Cyllene is right. To hell with all these mirrors. I get that they're old as hell and precious artifacts and all that, but this is people's lives we're talking about. Keeping ourselves safe and keeping the civilians safe from the DMC and whoever else might be using the mirrors to get in is more important than preserving them. I think we've stood around and let enough happen already. We're getting complacent and I, for one, am ******** sick of it. First we're always two steps behind the Negaverse. Now we're always two steps behind the DMC, too? And you all want to stand here and talk about sheets and tape and paint when people are dying or being turned to chaos?"
He didn't like it. He didn't like a lot of things, but the complacency and the fact that the senshi always seemed to be struggling to catch up had been bothering him almost since the beginning.
"At the moment, I don't really give a damn who's a prince or princess and what you or they can or cannot do. No offense," he added, turning an apologetic look to Valhalla, whose idea this had been in the first place, but then the knight was already well aware of how frustrated he'd been lately, "but now isn't really the time to be standing around discussing this. We're wasting too much time. We need to step up and act now, before we get even more behind."

Europa had already smashed some mirrors - particularly the one that the first Dark Mirror senshi she'd seen had climbed out out. She didn't have any qualms about smashing more, but only if permission was given for it. Once more, she found herself inclining her head towards Chronos.
"We should all keep in mind that we are guests in the Zodiacs' home," she said, aiming the words especially at Ganymede and Cyllene. She was proud of the Jovians for taking initiative, but that didn't mean they could storm out of here and begin smashing priceless artifacts. "Chronos, the only certain way to keep a DMC senshi from coming through a mirror is to destroy it - tape and sheets and turning them against each other will deter them, but I have to agree with my teammates, now that the point is brought up - why booby-trap a door when you can barricade it?"
"Ganymede and Cyllene make an excellent point," she intoned, motioning proudly to each scout. "With your permission, could we break some - or all - of the full-sized mirrors?"
It wasn't going to be a popular suggestion and Europa knew it, but she owed it to Ganymede and Cyllene to stick by them. They were suggesting everyone's least favorite option, but it was also the only one guaranteed to work.
