Instantly relieved at the clarification, Riley settled the dragon closer in her arms and snuggled it. Ah. Good. Well then. She slowly let the dragon back down on the floor, before moving up to her friend again. In that case. Shall we gimp you over now? She held both of her hands out in front of him, waiting to take the weight.

Nodding, Jericho shifted his weight before taking her hands to pull himself up. For a moment, he grimaced as it wasn't easy to stand up with his leg in the cast like that. But before too long, he was up. Now that he was standing, he took the moment to stretch out his wings before reaching to grab one his crutches.

"Whew. Alright. Let's get going," he said while placing a hand onto his friend's shoulder.

As for the little dragon, it stirred once placed onto the ground. The little one let out a big yawn before gazing up at the Mindflayer curiously. Stepping over towards her, it nuzzled against her leg lightly.

Riley hefted Jericho up comfortably on her side, carrying most of his weight on her hip. Then she led him out, stopping only when she felt the nuzzle of the little dragon at her leg. She looked down, peered curiously, and then sighed.

All right, you can come too. She spoke down to it. One dragon, two dragons, it's all the same to me.

She opened Jericho's door, and gently led him out.

The little dragon made a small draconic noise before happily trotting along after Riley. It seemed to have taken a liking to her!

Once he was situated, Jericho carefully started to walk on out with his friend. It was a little annoying in a way, that he had to move so slowly, but he knew if he tried to rush, he'd be more likely to hurt himself.

For now he was pretty silent as he was trying to focus more on not burdening Riley too much as they moved on along. It did feel kind of nice to be up and about. He was getting restless.

"Well. At least it wasn't my wing that broke," he mused quietly.

Riley summoned every ounce of patience she had, for her friend. Truthfully, for him it would be limitless. She didn't seem to mind the pace, and just focused on making sure most of his weight rested on her, and not his leg.

I would be very sad if you broke your wing. Riley responded, eyeing the ground ahead of them for obstructions. But I am sure that any injury would be temporary. Here, use the wall for a moment while I open this door.

They had reached the demon dorms, and she swung open the tall doors and helped him inside.

I bet you're glad I live on the first floor now, hmm?

Riley wasn't the only one who would be sad should he have broken a wing instead. The limbs twitched slightly at the thought. Shaking his head, Jericho soon glanced over at the Mindflayer briefly before glancing to the ground to mind where he was going.

"Yeah that's true," he said before shifting over to the wall with a light grunt. There, he waited until she fetched him to go into the dorms.

"Haha, yeah. Stairs are a major pain but you could probably guess that," he grinned lightly.

The little pygmy continued to trot along on the other side of Riley. Every now and then it would look up at her curiously.

"Though.. it's been awhile since I've had an injury like this.. kinda forgot what it's like. Then again that was before I had this humanoid form."

She led Jericho to her door, and opened that as well. She held the door open as the little dragon trotted in, and chuckled.

All right. She murmured as she closed her door with her foot, and continued to lead him to her bathroom. Once there, she let Jericho lean on any surface, and flipped on the light. Take a breather while I get this ready for you.

She walked past him, and turned the shower on, letting the water warm up. Then she plugged it and turned the water down to the tap, letting the expensive looking tub fill with water.

I'm going to go get you a towel and a sponge. She patted his cheek and left the room, only to almost trip on the little dragon again. Huh. Come on, little one. If you're going to stick with me, you have to learn not to get under my feet.

Nodding, Jericho leaned against the wall, trying to get as comfortable as he could. It wasn't easy.

"Alright," he said to Riley as he tried to relax himself, smiling as she patted him on the cheek.

Letting out a squeak, the pygmy ducked as it was almost tripped over. Looking up at the mindflayer curiously, it soon nodded before trotting alongside her, though more off to the side now.

"Hehe. Looks like you got a new little friend," Jericho mused as he watched the mini dragon tail after her.

Yes, that's all I need. Riley murmured in a tease, as she returned with a sponge and a towel. Another dragon nipping at my heels.

She set the towel down on the sink counter, leaned over to put the sponge on the bathtub edge, and then stood straight up again. It was clear she was all business as she said the following words.

All right. Strip.

Chuckling at her words, Jericho shook his head before blinking as she told him to dump his clothes. Blinking for the moment, he glanced to the door before looking back at the bath. He thought she was going to just leave him to his own devices once she had set everything up but perhaps he was wrong there.

Carefully, and gingerly, he went on and tried to get his clothes off. His right leg was especially tricky with the cast and every now and then he let out a wince as he moved a little wrongly or bumped into his leg.

"Uuuughhh... Damn this leg," the dragon swore. Gingerly, he went on to crawl into the bathtub, letting his injured leg hang on the edge for now. This was still going to be kind of tricky, but not quite as bad as it would be if he had to stand for a shower.

Riley was testing the water, when Jericho tried to get in - and she stood back up straight and stared at him angrily.

Stop it. She growled. What the hell do you think I'm here for? You're going to hurt yourself further, trying to get into a tub on your own with a broken leg. Come on now.

Without really giving him much of a choice, Riley practically picked him up in her arms, only to settle him gently down into the water in one swift movement. She could tell he wanted to leave the leg out of the water, which was wise - but trying to get in on his own could have put him at risk for more injury than he already had.

She picked up the sponge, dropped it in the water, picked it back up again, and threw it at his head. Don't forget to wash behind your ears. She chuckled, before closing the curtain and hopping up to sit on the sink counter. If something goes wrong, just tell me. And if you try to get out of there without my help, I will kill you now and save you the trouble.

With a nervous sort of chuckle, Jericho nodded to Riley while she scooped him up and placed him into the tub. Once he was in the water, he shifted around a bit with his wings, trying to get into a good position. Between how big they were and his leg situation, that was a little tricky. It was one of those times where the wings became a bit unwieldy for him.

Just as he got settled, the sponge bounced off of his head and back into the tub.

"Ehehe... will do," he said with a weak grin, "And.. thanks."

The second bit was said with a warmer smile. When the curtains closed up, he went on to get himself cleaned up.

"How long do you think it'll take before I can take the cast off?" he asked from the tub.

In the meantime, the red pygmy moved on over towards where Riley sat, getting up onto his hind legs briefly to place onto the counter. It looked like it wanted up!

That was an odd question to ask her. I'm not sure. I suppose a few weeks? I have never had a cast before, myself. When our bones break, we are just told to deal with it and move on. But I know it takes a few weeks for a bone to heal, so I suppose.. that might be how long you wear that thing.

Riley looked down at the little pygmy dragon, and sighed gently, before reaching out to pluck it up in her hands and place it on her lap. She ran her hand along the length of its back, and quieted for a moment, before her eyes narrowed mischievously.

Then she turned on the tap of the sink, let a few drops of cold water fill her cupped palm, and flung it over the top of the shower curtain.

Well that sounded about right he supposed. That was still longer than he would like but there wasn't much he could do outside of try to not make his injury worse in the meantime. Scrubbing along, Jericho was totally not expecting cold water to rain down onto him from above.

"Ah!" he said, startled from the sudden sensation.

Slowly, he pushed aside the curtain to squint out at Riley with an accusative look in his eyes. He didn't say anything. But it might that look he gave her was probably something along the lines of 'what was that for?' and 'I see you there.' After a few moments of staring, he brought a hand up and flicked some water right back at her before ducking back behind the curtain.

As for the little one, it curled up onto her lap comfortably, enjoying being pet.

Riley had the most innocent expression ever on her face when Jericho pulled back the curtain.

It wasn't very innocent.

She winced when the warm water splashed her, but she didn't react. After all, she deserved it, didn't she?

The cold water turned on, and another flick was thrown over the edge.
