“School rather does that.” He nodded; he knew just how hard it was for him especially, juggling two lives and all his desires. Daniel though seemed lost, lost in his work as Zac himself might have been had his own been intact. He wanted almost to reach out and touch the thing but he put his hands into his pockets and gazed out the windows. The particular temperature of the shop, he’d no place here did he…not till he had a new instrument.
“Perhaps when I’m more fortunate we should practice together, and in the mean time I’ll wish you luck with your writing.” He nodded

"Yeah... University is easier in some ways and harder in others..." He had to admit that he loved the freedom of being out of a dorm, through. Most of his roommates at Azure had teased him relentlessly to the point where he was mostly against sharing living space with others, beside a few exceptions he knew and trusted.
"You go to DCU ?" He asked, idly, through really... He thought he would remember if he'd seen Zac before. They both had braids.
It was kind of amusing, in a way.
"And sure, we can... I need to practice more. I've been a little lax lately."

“Ah, no…” He said shaking his head but hesitated over the name of his school. “I just graduated high school, early but I haven’t secured a scholarship yet that really fits what I ah, need right now.” He gave a small shrug.
He waved a hand to the shop owner and offered. “You can leave a message for me here, I’ll be back and check it, sound non invasive enough?” It was a slight tease, no stalking the son of the famous musician.

"Ah... Yeah, I was lucky on that front." He'd always known who and what he wanted to be, in a way, from the second he'd picked up a pencil and wrote his first letters... No, perhaps even earlier than that, from where he'd started thinking up of worlds that did not exist in his mind and was old enough to remember them, treasure them.
"Yeah, that works. So you come here often, then ?" Well, if he was making deposits for a violin... Duh, Daniel. He noticed the redundancy of the question too late and some embarrassment was easily seen on his features, even as he continued with the violin - almost done re-stringing, really.

“Every time I can make a payment.” He confirmed with a small nod, but didn’t press the embarrassment on the young man’s features. He had after all given comfortable room to let both of them escape the current conversation and instead found it being held on to. Perhaps he hadn’t offended or bored after all, he just felt a little awkward, like he wasn’t sure where to go with the conversation and he couldn’t keep feeding it, he’d run out of things to say. The thought alone made him edgy at the idea of failure.
He’d wanted to play the violin professionally since, as long as he could remember wanting something for himself not just for others. As solid as that goal had been though other things had come into play. He’d not forsake it but for now, for the greater good he must focus on other things first. Playing duets though, that was tempting, very tempting if he were honestly interested. He paused raking his teeth against the inside edge of his upper lip as he weighted the situation.
“Yeah…yeah I come here pretty often, but if you were pretty serious I could pick up a rental, just let me know.”
