Ixion had been largely quiet while the grown-ups had their ‘boring’ talk. Sure, they were very nice chocolates, and they were right to praise Holi for making them. But did they have to go, on and on and on about it? No! Chocolates were for eating!
So while the grown-ups chit-chatted, Ixion stuffed his face. By the time he actually said anything , his mouth was full and there was melted chocolate on the corner of his mouth. “Thi—re- gu-d.” He said with a mouthful.
When the discussion of if the cats could actually eat the candies, Ixion pipped up!. He knew the answer to that one. “ I d’no abo’t Zue…” Ixion swallowed. “Or Cora. But ********* sure likes chocolate and candy. So why not?”
Ixion didn’t feel the need to explain that there were more cat-people in space and that ********* was one of them.

Zirconia was ready to swoon with the way Holi addressed her. Really, it wasn't hard to make the vain creature swoon if you knew how to push her buttons, but still. Effortlessly, this civilian had ranked right up to 'smart and talented' in Zirconia's mental ranking of all living creatures.
"Mauvians," She corrected politely in regards to the stumbling over people-cats.
She shifted effortlessly to her humanoid form so she could reach for the chocolates herself, rather than waiting to be served. If this was anything else, she would've held out for wait service, but quite frankly, when Ixion mentioned ********* she suddenly found herself afraid her greedy whims would go unsatisfied if there was any hesitation.
"Ah, yes, ********* would definitely enjoy these, but, oh, no, I haven't seen her around," She said, still feigning innocence that would come off as just ridiculous to those who knew her well. Luckily no one who fit the bill seemed to be in the room. In reality she had thought of ********* like a rival who would inhale everything before she got her fill. ********* was her friend, but all's fair in love and war and Zirconia really loves chocolate.
"However, I also enjoy chocolate, and I'm right here," She said with a dainty, offhanded laugh before popping one in her mouth, another one already in her fingers to make sure it was properly 'claimed'. "Excellent work," She added with a firm little nod of approval before she went back to slowly and surely consuming.

The shifting she still wasn't used to, and Holi ended up fidgeting with her own borrowed clothes (She'd been forced to give up on her T-shirt and PJ pants after they'd taken further, unforgivable damage between the spider and the tentacle...thing...) trying to cover for the embarrassed jump she'd done as Zirconia shifted from being a lovely grey cat to being human, or close enough to not matter much. When she'd first gotten here, she'd have additionally been pulling her hair out over conservation of mass issues, but after everything... She wasn't going to think about it, it would drive her to drink if she tried.
"Glad you like it." She beamed at Ixion, who did get points for cute in a sort of 'Dennis the Menace' way, with his face chipmunk cheeked from chocolate. "I just wasn't sure... a lot of... animals that don't talk... can't digest chocolate, and it can really make them sick, and I really really didn't want to do that to anyone..." She twisted her braided hair in a fit of self consciousness as Zirconia sampled the sweets. "Including Mauvians."

Eliza grinned at the cat that wove through her legs, giving a small hello, but not attempting to pet the cat. She looked around briefly before telling everyone she would be right back and running off to wash her hands.
When she came back the cat had turned it Zirconia and was eating chocolate with everyone else and Eliza went over grabbing up the first one she saw and popping it into her mouth.
"Yum," she said as it melted in her mouth, "it amazing that you can make chocolate. I can't do anything so amazing." She grabbed another and munched away happy to have chocolate, oh it was so wonderful and melty.
"So I'm don't know much about chocolate, aside from it being really really good, but I'm sure these chocolates have some sort of names, so tell me, master chocolate maker. What exactly am I eating?"

This was only Naica's second 'day' in the surrounding. It seemed... odd that they where still up there after so long. Odd and... worrying.
So he forced himself to go, tried to squash the fear and anxiety he felt in the completely foreign environment at least long enough to get a few 'rounds' of spreading supplies along done.
Naica was still the errand boy. This was perfectly good with him.
Through... Chocolate ?
Chocolate, predictably, got him a little off-track. He'd wandered close, but had stood at the back for what had seemed to be forever, before he finally, hesitantly, said.
"'M-May I have one, Miss ?"

"Definitely not a master yet." Holi corrected, though by the look on her face she was clearly flattered, and trying not to let it go to her head. "Those ones are truffles, the first one had a mixed-berry cream filling, that one is a milk chocolate filling with a dark chocolate shell.... The cats are chocolate shells with Marzipan. I used Marzipan for most of the chocolates that required detailed shaping because I don't have any of my chocolate molds, so Marzipan makes a good structure to drape chocolate on. Marzipan is an sweet almond paste, so it's not for everyone, but it's one of my favorites I admit." She pointed out the various chocolates in turn, indicating the subtle indicators she'd laid out to separate the fruit truffles from the chocolate truffles, the different types of fudge on the table, including the differences between the peanut-butter and the maple, and identified the slices of chocolate covered fruit, some of which had been rendered ambiguous by the amorphous covering of chocolate.
"I'm sure you can do something amazing, it's just something different." Holi offered, finally, sneaking a Marzipan cat off the table and guiltily nibbling. Mmm. Bliss.....
Space hadn't taken that away from her at least.
Naica was so hesitant it was kind of cute, and she couldn't help but give him a bit of a smile before she answered his nervous question.
"They're open for everyone, go right ahead! Please enjoy!"

Grant listened contentedly, though if he were honest a lot of the words were lost on him because he was enjoying his chocolate that much. He could sometimes be a rather simple person, in that regard: he loved chocolate, loved things that made people happy, and this moment happened to be one and the same there. She was happy because she made chocolate, and he was happy because he was eating it.
It was a perfect moment! And he lost himself basking in it.
He blushed when he came out of his daze, looking around at the people who had come up. He smiled at Holi, though, nodding his head eagerly. "These are really good!" he said for what had to be the hundredth time. The fact remain true, though, so why not tell her and mean it? A lot?
Camelot found his stomach would not allow him to stay away too long. He moved closer, smiling at Polaris as he passed her, and nodding at the other powered up folks who had come for the goodies. It looked like no one could help themselves, so he felt less goofy about it as he reached for a piece.
"Thank you for making these. It's nice to see people having something to smile about and enjoy. It's a simple gesture, making something for other people, but I don't think it's one too many people are thinking about right now. It's very nice of you."
He smiled. Part of saving and protecting the civilians here, to him, involved making sure they were happy and mentally safe, not just physically. So he liked seeing things like this, and seeing people relaxing. Acting normal. Almost, anyway.
As close to normal as serving chocolate to knights might be.

It was true everybody loved chocolate. Or at least almost everybody. Just outside however, was something that didn't really favor the confectionery treat. What sounded like wings on air reverberated. A loud crash, like something hitting the walls. However, nothing seemed to be out of place.
The sound of bells ringing outside did echo, carrying with it a gentle refrain. All in all it was probably just somebody messing around with something.
((If people want to join in, they can~))

"Well if I learned anything being part of the revised cast of "Lost in Space"... it's that I'm completely godawful at fighting space monsters. Of course it probably wouldn't have helped if I'd had something other than a slipper to throw at the whale..."
She wasn't sure what else to do than joke about it... just doing what she could, which wasn't much.
She blinked at the strange sound from outside, popping the rest of her marzipan treat in her mouth as an excuse to process and think. That was... weird..."
"...The people like Ti....er... Chronos... the ones with the wings... can they fly?"
Logic dictated no... she hadn't seen anything that indicated that their wings attached to any kind of structure in their bodies... but that was the explanation that didn't involve magic. There was enough magic around lately to choke a fairy on. It didn't stop her from picturing the Winged Senshi flapping around like birds and smashing into windows like birds though. It was a decidedly weird mental picture, and not terribly dignified for the subjects in her head.
"...Please not more space bats...." She grimaced. Curious as she was, she wasn't planning on being the first one out, not with all the powered individuals here. She was certainly curious, albeit at this point sort of a morbid, 'what's going to try and eat me now' curiosity, but she just couldn't seem to entirely help it.

...Had she said marzipan ?
Well, that was it. Game over, do not pass go, do not collect 200$, all your bases are belong to Holiday Jones. Really, she was now stuck with Naica until there was no marzipan left. And possibly beyond.
He was going to have the stomachache from hell later, but it was gonna be so. utterly. completely. worth it.
"T-Thank you !" Yeah, he went for the marzipan. With not even an ounce of shame. The sounds did have him perk, nervously - but no... Everything looked okay. Must have been his imagination going apeshit, with all the things he'd heard about the surrounding...

Eliza was listening wide eyed to the description of the chocolate, never knowing anyone so knowledgeable about chocolate. Eliza did not often get chocolate so she popped a few more pieces into her mouth savoring them. It could be noted that later she would have a good sugar rush, but she pushed how hyper she would be to the side, enjoying a berry creme filled chocolate.
She giggled a bit showing off slightly chocolate teeth for a moment, "I would say I'm good at cheering people up when they don't think I've gone around the bend. Kids like my story telling and my games."
She turned at the nose blinking as if coming out of a daze and frowned at the mumbled words of Holi, everything seemed alright so she turned back to the chocolate wondering if she should really help herself to another.
She decided against wanting to make sure their was plenty if someone else came in to have bite.

A green-haired newcomer wandered late into the impromptu party, his junk-food radar having lead him here. When he entered the room, the group he saw was strange even by space standards. There was , a twitchy not-alien, a butt-winged not-alien, a guy that had escaped from a Renaissance fair, a kid, and a cat. All that was needed was a vampire or a neko-girl and it would be like a bad anime cast (oh, if only he knew).
Shaking his head, Darwin entered the room and inched towards the chocolate. It looked like a fellow human had made it, so it should be safe, and it looked yummy.
" I can have some?"
The sounds of wings and bells outside went unheeded by Darwin. Until something burst through the wall there was no point in worrying.
(( Ignore if it's too late to join. ^^; ))

Polaris had been taking her leave of the room and group when the strange sound caught her attention, pausing immediately to scrutinize the noise. It wasn't anyone in the room, it had come from the outside.
But.. it could be nothing right...? Holiday's words and weariness however, slid that idea straight out of her head.
As of yet Polaris hadn't encountered anything other than a captive Dark Mirror senshi. No monsters, no youma. But the potential of any of the three appearing.. her eyes turned back to the room slowly, filtering over the many civilians. She wasn't going to take any chances.
Again she began her trek towards the door, but this time it wasn't retreat, it was the cautious approach of someone looking for something.

After the cake incident one would have assumed Felicia would have learned her lesson. Sadly, this was not the case. The merest mention of chocolate had been enough to lure the young woman, and though quite weary(justifiably so), the promise of something sweet and delicious was just too strong to ignore.
So here she was, clearly hoping to weasel her way into a bit of a good stuff, and completely shameless.
A familiar face drew her attention almost instantly, and Licia moved automatically to Grant's side, looping her arm with one of his and grinning up at him. "Hey, fancy seeing you here." What could she say, him having saved her life had kind of endeared him to her. Not to mention his penchant for politeness, she wasn't used to dealing with people half so nice on a daily bases, so he was refreshing. He also happened to be the only person currently around that she knew.
"Any chocolate left?" Shed peeked around him hopefully, but glanced up as the sound of bells echoed softly in the air. It made her frown, straightening up to glance around them all, her grip on Grant tightening a bit.

"There's plenty of chocolate. I went a little crazy..." She admitted. She really had, especially without testing her audience first, though she was a bit tense herself, craning her neck to see Polaris' progress.
"...Help yourselves to some chocolate..."
At least if people were near the table with chocolate, they were concentrated in one place. Easier to defend.
God why did she even have to consider safety strategy? She should be worried about grades and quality candy, but that was before she'd spent an month and a half being impossible places and seeing impossible things.
