((E7 to E 6))
He was a big one, and no doubt would take all the force to hold him under, but Calder could imagine it. The flailing, the massive arms reaching out for anything and everything to ground himself and push himself up to find nothing. Just thick muck that would suction around him and let him sink in place. The kelpie would need solid footing, but if he just managed to get him down, even that little bit of water would do it. You didn't need much. No. Never too much, and he could pretend the boil fell. He would be helping him, and before anyone knew better -
His smile curled about his face in a dreamy fashion as he moved closer towards the massive boil. "Oh yes. I need a little help from someone so strong and handsome as you. Seems I'm a little weak in the knees and I think I feel faint." He brought the back of his hand to his brow and sighed. "I think it's the scenery." To which he looked up with half-open eyes at Herryk. "I think I'm getting a little hot and bothered by it all." He reached out, beckoning the boil to come over.

((E5 to D5!))
Sure, she was half covered in mud. And probably a fair deal shorter than the boils. But Herryk had just marched into her spot and held his hand out for Calder without noticing, and what's worse, Calder seemed to notice a little too well. She was torn between laughing and growling, but she never had a chance at either - Herryk's arm swinging in her face made her stumble to the next tile, losing her balance and dropping down almost completely into the muck.
"AAAAAAAAACH." Freya reached out quickly to try and pull her braid out, more focused on keeping it clean than the rest of her body. She may have also been giving Calder a few side-glanced glares, while she cleaned the muck off her hair.

Still on E-6
While Barth may have dismissed the muscles comment, it was hard to miss Calder standing right beside him sighing about needing someone strong and feeling hot and bothered. There was nothing subtle about the come-hither gesture either, and with Herryk looming so close by, and everyone covered in muck...there was a splattering as Freya was knocked down into it, getting...well, getting soaked...
Barth felt his face get warm. Half from the muck, sure, and...and Calder...but primarily with a sort of self-consciousness about who Calder was addressing. And why. Muscles. What was everyone's obsession with muscles? He could be- well no, he wasn't strong in any sense of the word, and...damn it all to Christmas.

((Remaining in E5))
Herryk gave Freya an apologetic look before turning his attention back to Calder. "Yes, it is warm in this room," he said sympathetically, feeling sorry for his team member. "How can Herryk help?" The stench wasn't bad, now, and Herryk supposed he'd gotten used to it. He was feeling bad for barreling into Freya, and he gave her another apologetic glance followed by a slow smile.
He'd make it up to her later.

((E6 to E5))
Calder only gave a little glance to Freya, noticing how she had fallen and almost sidetracked at that point to switch targets, but he was already set on his track and turned back to the boil who he managed to grab sympathy from. Oh, the poor dear. How easy it was to pull him close in a matter of seconds. To lure him over and speak softly to without any alarms being raised. The ghoul to his side however was a nuisance to say the least, but that wouldn't stop him. The little miss could mess with her hair and sink deeper. He'd deal with her after.
He took a step closer now, and looked up at the boil. "I'm just feeling a bit faint is all. I thought you'd probably see. Do I look a tad warm to you?" He asked, trying to sound more innocent than he actually was. As he asked, he rested hsi hands on the boil's firm chest and leaned in. No, not just leaned. He pushed into the boil. If anyone called him on it, he just tripped. Swooned. Fainted even. In actually, he kicked off into the much and pushed onto the boil. Getting the massive creature down was half the battle already out of the way.

((D5 to E5!))Oh no he didn't.Freya hadn't even gotten up, if only because once you were sitting in muck, there was no point in getting out of it very fast. She was just holding her hair out of it, and Herryk's little glances were met with a sour, scrunched up expression. Still, nothing about her movements seemed very determined - until she saw Calder swoon - SWOON!? - on Herryk. WHAT. GURRRRRRRRRRL. Freya let out a battlecry that would make the greatest of warriors jealous, and lunged back a step, hurling herself at Calder. MUD WRESTLING COMMENCES NOW.

Staying on E-6
Barth was so distracted with Calder wrapping himself around Herryk that he completely forgot to concentrate on careful, slow and steady, and most importantly, the floor.
The tile and Barth both shot upward, slamming him against the (fortunately) soft and mucky ceiling before dropping him back into the mud.
Pay attention. Life or death situations. He couldn't be...be thinking about...was Freya tackling Calder?

E-2 to D-2
Christof lurched forward, content to get out of the seeping hot bog of a room. It was hot, and it was humid, and his brain was feeling that same sort of sluggish warm feeling it had gotten back in the Fitness Sauna room. No falling asleep here. Moving on. Complete the task and-
He glanced over his shoulder to see how the others were faring, only to spot the sudden outbreak of wet, muddy girl and Calder who was pretty much a girl and... Huh. This was the second time he was seeing Freya coated in mud and rolling on the ground.
He liked it.
He liked it a lot.
But they had things to do. Places to go! Tasks to complete!
But.... mud wrestling...
Glancing to the other end of the room and back to the struggle in the mud, the hunchback gave an anxious, confused whine.
Okay, maybe just a bit of mud wrestling would be ok. Just for a bit.

((Herryk is falling from E5 to D5.))
The sudden explosion of the tile next to Herryk combined with the sudden explosion of Calder and Herryk's chest combined with the sudden explosion of Freya against Calder... well, needless to say, Herryk was reeling. Wrapping his arms around Calder as best he could, Herryk staggered backwards before Freya slammed into Calder.
Now, Herryk could have held his own against Calder, but with the added force of Freya, Herryk went down on his a** like a ton of bricks.

OH YES HE DID!((E5 to D5))The cry made his ears perk and he jerked around to see the ghoul tackle him just as Calder felt the boil he was pressing against lean. While he didn't like the ghoul on him, he felt the rush of success in feeling the boil teeter and then fall. Luckily the mud was soft and thick, cushioning them all as they tumbled back and down. It was the weight on his back that annoyed him the most, and he glared back at the ghoul who was upon him.
He would have ripped her eyes out if it wasn't for the fact he felt Herryk's arm about him. Oh, so this was a perfect opportunity. "Eehh! She's attacking me!" He called out pathetically, and kicked back with a hoof. At the same time, he looked over his shoulder and gave a flash of a smirk that said he was in no way distressed by her. Ghoul needed to get off his back and back in the mud. Maybe it would do something with her lacking features.
"Herryk, tell your friend to stop being mean." He pouted, and buried his head into the boil's chest as he wrapped his arms about his neck. All he had to do now was hold his head under. WOW! This guy had a thick neck. This would take some talent, but Calder was willing. They were already sinking and with two people on top, it wouldn't be hard to push him down under. Just...needed to get his blasted head under the water.

((E5 to D5 DOGPILE))
Freya pushed herself up just enough to look at Calder, who seemed stupid enough to keep his back to the person attacking. "You bets I am." She growled, leaning her head back before wielding it forward to slam her forehead into the back of his head.
This did not have the desired effect, as the back of a head is harder than the front. Ow.
Oh, she'd help him get under the water, all right. Still dizzy, she used her hands this time to try and drown him her damn self.

((Sinking deeper and deeper INTO D5 OH JACK HELP US))
Herryk could feel himself sinking further and further into the thick, stagnant mud beneath him. The water itself was sloshing about his ears, his hair was a thick suffocating curtain of muck that was half-covering his face and half-beneath him.
"C-calder and F-freya, Herryk thinks we should get up and think this over."
Mud and muck that coated his jaw squelched into his mouth. He was totally going to hurl.
"BARTH, HERRYK COULD USE SOME HELP PLEASE. CHRISTOF. SOMEONE. HELP HERRYK." His voice was shrill.

Very flustered at E-6
Now everyone (save he and Christof) was sliding about and grunting and fighting in the mud. Barth was still sitting, dazed, from where he'd been dropped.
Herryk seemed more...panicked than anything, and Calder didn't seem to notice the poor fellow was close to drowning. Barth did not find himself inclined to rush to his aid.
"Oh, um," Barth said, very noncommittally from his tile. "You'll be alright. Breath out from your nose."

FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!
There was only so much one poor tile could take, you know? And it turned out that, for Tile D-5, 'too much' was one valkyrie pushing one kelpie pushing one draugr forcefully downwards. Tile D-5 shattered under their weight and force, resulting in an instant geyser that sent Herryk, Calder, and Freya flying.
Not straight up, though! The burst was too uncontrolled for that. Rather than hitting the ceiling, the three were sprayed in different directions...
Nio, MK, and Pinchmonster! Roll 2d8 and use the guide on the first post for this puzzle to determine what tile you end up on! If you roll a 7 or 8 on your first dice, then your character lands off the puzzle grid and must enter again at row F.
Barth and Christof's positions on the grid are unaffected. Also, tile D-5 is now a constant geyser and cannot be used. You must go around it from now on!

((Herryk is soaring from D5 to B4, screaming all the way.))
Herryk was in the midst of shoving Calder off of his chest when the tile gave way beneath the weight of the three students. The force of the geyser sent Herryk soaring across the room. With an undignified splat Herryk landed face-first in the mucky mire. The Draugr immediately rose to his feet, dug the mud out of his eyes, all the while gasping for breath.
He was glad he was far, far away from both Calder and Freya. Mostly Calder, though. The kelpie was terrifying.
