(guys danse said we all stepped on good squares so we can move on to the next square! )
Looking over he watched the others hesitantly... waiting to see what would happen to the two whom stepped on ones without a turkey. His breath caught in his throat, eyes wide... he waited.
Releasing a breath a moment later... he noticed they were safe. Good good... oh god now that that was done...
"We can do this guys!" He said sounding more confident than he actually felt. Wasnt a uh.. 'leader' supposed to be confident? He guessed it was not a inherited trait.. Anyways, still staring down at the turkey, he shook his head with a smile. Taking a step forward, he chose to continue his path to E4.

Raziel watched as Amrita made her way onto the square closest to her, hopefully she wouldn't fall. It seemed to be alright though, everybody was still standing, nobody was falling and screaming in agonizing pain. So far so good... don't jynx it! Raziel though to himself.
Glancing up to look at Remi as he attempted to give them words of encouragement, Raziel felt a little better hearing the tone of his voice, but he was still on edge. He slid one foot forward, testing the next square with a little bit of his weight before sliding his second foot forward to stand entirely on E1.

Naked Satan Raziel watched as Amrita made her way onto the square closest to her, hopefully she wouldn't fall. It seemed to be alright though, everybody was still standing, nobody was falling and screaming in agonizing pain. So far so good... don't jynx it! Raziel though to himself. The solid feeling under her feet was a huge relief, but she was far from safety. The lava bubbled under her feet, and the other side was so far away! She looked this way and that; Raziel was moving foward, Remi was moving away from her...wait. Forward and Away.
She looked between both boils who were carefully moving away, and was at a complete loss for what to do. That unhappy pitch of a whine escaped her throat again, that continuous eeeeeeeeeee of distress. A single, shuddering breath was drawn in and she naturally gravitated to the spot that was already proven to be safe; she followed in Remi's footsteps, moving to F3. As always she moved incredibly slow, practically hugging herself the entire way forward.

With a sigh of relief that he team members continued to be safe, Lacie shifted a bit of her focus to herself. Like a chess game with an invisible platform, Lacie moved forward to E6 with a ginger step. She was ever aware of the boiling abyss beneath her.
And she stared at the turkey on the step beside hers as if to ask 'Is this one safe as well?' For better or for worse -- turkeys could not speak back.

Thank goodness the others were okay, and Amrita had even joined them! The undead didn't look particularly happy though, but since they were pretty close to one another, Xiu reached out to give her friend's backwards hand a reassuring squeeze. Hopefully she managed to keep some of her own fear out of her eyes.
One row down, another to go. Maybe it wasn't the best idea of all of them to take separate paths, but at the same time, maybe all five of them would have been doomed from the start if they had taken the exact same route. At Remi's words of encouragement, the Baku lifted her head to offer him a small smile and a bob of her head. Y-yes, they would be fine!
With a deep breath, Xiu slowly slid her feet forward to E3, hoping that there would indeed be a platform there to hold her weight.

A sound echoed around the chamber, but no one was quite sure where it came from, or what had happened. It was clearly the sound of something hitting glass, but...
Wait! It's a little hard to see given how bright the lava is, but something small sparkles in the distance. You can't quiiiite place the location, but it looks like it's somewhere around... [B1]?

The Vetala blinked rapidly as though trying to clear the brownish-red film that lined the bottom lid. ...Xiu? When did Xiu get here...? O-oh. She had been there all along! The smaller ghoul received a shaking attempt at a smile, but it was extremely short lived; it likely never even reached her lips, but mentally? She tried. Who knows what her features actually took up.
The PING tore another loud startled cry from the patchwork, her arms flying up to hold her head. That was enough to get her moving, and she moved past Xiu onto F4, and then forwards only to stop behind Remi on E4.

Did you think glass couldn't crack?! Well, I suppose you're right, at least for now... the weight of the two students, though, causes the glass panel to shake and dislodge from the tiles on its sides; and it moves downwards, closer to the lava.
So close that if either of the students moved too much, they might find their feet dipped in the hottest pool they have ever encountered....
To top it all off, stalactites rain over the unlucky couple, though thankfully most of them are brittle enough to break on contact, leaving the two extremely dusty. One particular stalactite, though, strikes the glass, and bounces off, leaving hairline cracks... it rolls away, almost towards the edge of the tile, but doesn't fall off.
BOTH STUDENTS LOSE 2HP.
tl;dr: someone had better move fast... but carefully...

If there was one thing remi was glad for it was that one of the safe tiles was in front of him... he felt for the other teammates though, turning around just a second before he felt something attach to his jacket. Giving a soft meep sound, something only Amrita would hear and he wound DENY later, he turned and noticed the girl whom was now there.
OH... Okay. Okay. s**t, he-
Then the little shards fell.
Making a brief hissing noise, the kitsune all but jumped toward onto the next tile... D4 leaving Amrita there on the shattered one. Eyes wide, he held his hand out to the ghoul trying to pull her off the breaking glass.

Raziel was thankful that the next tile in front of him had a turkey, and was about to let out a sigh of relief when a loud PING! sounded just a few tiles away from him. He couldn't help but be alarmed by the noise. If he had had a fluffy tail the hair would probably have been standing on end.
At what seemed like the same time, Amrita was moving around and ended up sharing a square, more loud noises ensued. The glass began to fall and stalactites rained down as well. Raziel's eyes grew wide as all he could do was watch in dismay. He hoped that they would make it out okay. Once the dust settled he saw that they were okay, but still in danger, though there wasn't anything he could really do, so he opted for words of encouragement, "Be careful you guys!" Okay, so maybe not so encouraging...
Glancing back at his own path, Raziel shifted forward to D1 and picked up the turkey. It was an unweildy thing and flapped about as he attempted to contain it.

The uncertain sound had Lacie glancing around for the source but alas, she could not trace it. But the shine oddly captivated the young girl, her attention riveted on the sparkle.. at least until the barrage of attacks on Remi and Amrita. "...!" She whirled around quickly, it was a wonder that she didn't slide off her own panel in the rush. Her hands covered her mouth in a shocked gesture. But when the dust cleared to reveal her teammates, Lacie could only smile in relief.
Lacie then moved forward to D6. There was no turkey to indicate that her next move was safe, leaving Lacie to be worried as well.

Xiu had been slowly shuffling herself onto D3 when she heard the cracking noise coming from the square that had been directly beside hers. "R-remi, Amrita!" When Remi succesfully made it to D4, Xiu hovered on the square right beside his, reaching out to grab his tailcoat as if frightened that he and Amrita would both fall into the lava below if they weren't careful.
Which was...well, exactly was she was terrified of. An anxious glance around determined that everyone else seemed to be safe, and the sparkling object that had dropped just a few moments prior...what could that be?
While Xiu was looking increasingly stressed out--even once Remi pulled Amrita up, the pair would probably have to move to separate squares lest the grass below them crack again--the turkey that she clutched with her free hand gobbled contently and peered about with blank eyes.

Luckily for Remi, Amrita was too distracted by the CRACK and jostle to notice that adorable little noise he made. She let out another terrified scream as her feet got very warm, and scrambled to grab Remi's hand, latching on but seemingly unable to pull herself off of the cracked tile. Raziel's words of encouragement and Xiu's calling of her name were heard but sadly unacknowledged. She just couldn't bring herself to look anywhere but the lava under her feet. The ghoul was still trembling, and now that she was closer to the thing she feared most, she couldn't help but start to cry. Her tears were the brownish-red substance that had lined her eyes earlier, and it now slid down her patched cheeks in a slow sort of sludge.
"Ican'tdothis" She managed to get out. "I'msorryI'msosorry" She sobbed next, over and over. Poor Remi's hand had a death grip on it and her feet refused to move on their own accord; she was stuck, unable to get past this obviously overwhelming fear.

Good lord, the ghoul had some strength in those backwards hands! He wanted to complain about it but... he figured that she needed to have SOME sort of rock. Besides, with this grip he could pull her to safety if the floor below her crumbled... not that he was not trying to pull her onto his glass field already.
She seemed to be set put... was she really so afraid of the lava pit? If that glass fell she would make her fear into a reality!
Then it hit him.
"...Im a jack damn idiot." He sighed exasperated out for the rest of them to hear. "Amrita im going to take some of the edge off this, no one freak out ok?" He called around before he shut his eyes. A moment, or two passed and nothing... and then Remi did something with his free hand. One being occupied, he could not use it as he gripped the ghouls hand back. The elders of his clan could pull up illusions in the blink of an eye... Remi was just not that good yet. If he was in first year this would have been impossible, he would have needed both hands. Thankfully he only needed to use one being a second year.
Some odd hand motions later, the others around him would notice that... the scent had changed? Instead of a scent of something boiling a freshly cut grass scent would have swept over them, and in a blink of an eye... the lava pool under them was not longer a lava pool, but a grassy meadow complete with flowers and even a little pond. If anyone was able to touch it, they would have been able to tell it was fake. Remis illusions only fooled three of the five senses right now.
"Amrita? Its ok... look down, it's ok." Squeezing her hand once, he could only hope this would help her some. Clearly the boil had used his natural ability... but. "Guys, dont let this fool you. While it might look, smell, and sound like the lava pool is gone... it is STILL there so... please dont be a fool and think i fixed it. If you fall it will be the same results, and ide rather not be the cause of your carelessness, but... hopefully this will take the edge off."
