Croix nodded at Kaume. "Perhaps it will grow warmer at night, with this weather." It wouldn't entirely surprise him. Often times, the night increased in temperature with the day. He looked to Diana, then back to her father. "She seems happy. Are all your cubs like that?" Happy, he meant. Not of similar personality. For Croix, it was good seeing there were good fathers still in the world...that his last two cycles hadn't been so bad on the world.
Shairi gave Diana an impressed look. "A priestess, hm? I think you'd make a very pretty one! And if you combined pretty with smart...well, surely the gods would be VERY happy to have you offering the important prayers to them!" Shairi had a special respect for those who led rituals and prayer...her own mother and aunt had been priestesses, once long ago.

Ngoma smiled at Kaume. "Well...not everyone is interested in the stars. Perhaps you might like them, perhaps not. You could use them as a game for the cubs, though?" She smiled at little Diana's answer to what she wanted to be. "Shairi and I, our mother was a priestess for another pride, long before we were born. She, and our AintÃn, both. To be a good priestess, you have to combine a good heart and a wise soul with your pretty looks. Think you can do that?"

"Course I can!" She pranced. She had all three- except maybe being wise; but Kaume would make sure he taught her all the things she needed to know in due time.
"My other two are just like her...just abit more sure-footed." Not that his daughter being clingy was a bad thing. He enjoyed her company; he just sometimes worried that she would make any friends aside from himself. She didn't really socialize with anyone in the temple other then him and prehaps grandpa from time to time. Though in all honesty he tried to keep meetings with Grandpa supervised or else she might get the idea she wanted to give him 10 litters of grandcubs- or great grandcubs in his case rather then being a priestess. Though aside from needing a BIGGER family he was harmless.

Croix nodded. "You have a good family." He could only hope he could have a similar one in this cycle. He...would have to talk with Ngoma later. He rather wanted cubs, but he didn't want to push them on her. He looked to the sky a moment before looking back to Kaume. "Perhaps we should all make our ways inside."
Shairi smiled brightly at little Dianala's answer. It was a surety that came from cubhood, not arrogance. And she liked that. "Well, than! I think you'll do fine, than." She looked up at Croix and sighed, nodding. "Yes...you're likely right."

The pale lioness grinned at Dianala, nodding. "Good. You'll do perfectly fine, than. Stay confident, and even if your dream might seem hard to reach some days, just remember how much you want it, and never give up." It was advice that might seem overboard for some...but Ngoma felt that maybe it was a good idea to pass it on in this case. And then the other two in her group mentioned 'inside'. "Aw...." She sighed. They were right though. It was starting to get a bit too warm. "Yeah."

It was starting to become too warm for Kaume as well. From what he could tell the sun was about to rise and make everyone's day abit harder. "Inside sounds like a good idea." The temple had nice cool floors and plenty of water for everyone to drink. Anything was better then frying out in the sun. "The temple is *this* way." He pointed forward. "I'm sure a scribe can get you properly settled into the pride and out of the heat. Your more then welcome to follow me and my daughter if you like." He nudged his daughter. "Say goodbye sweetie...we will meet them again...Don't you worry." He gave her a smaller nudge on the rump to get her going.
"K. Daddy." She padded about his front two paws rubbing on them. She then turned and waved a short good-bye. "Seeyou guys soon!" The two then began to lead the new comers towards the temple.
