Raziel was lashing his tail back and forth behind him, a low growl emanating from his throat. He was still pissed off about the mutt stomping on his tail. In the moment before his next move the boil managed to get to his knees. Raziel took the chance and gave him a solid kick in the gut.

The kick was enough to knock Jove over again, but he didn't make a sound this time. A blow to the gut might have had a living creature curling up with a wheeze, but for the little ghost, one place was as good as another to take a hit. He tried again to scramble to his knees, and get to his feet before another blow could knock him over.

Again after his attack the other boil didn't seem to do much of anything. Raziel decided it was better not to think anything of it and carried on. He attempted to spin around and hit the ghost with his tail, but somehow he missed.

Jove took that opportunity to get to his feet and tackle the other boil, Bruteball style. Usually he wasn't very good at it, but then again, there was not a member of that team who didn't outweigh him by a great margin.
And if the tackle wasn't enough, the little pup was ready to use his teeth yet again. He chomped down on Raziel's arm, growling stubbornly.

Ack! The other boil had tackled him, sending him stumbling backwards. As if that wasn't bad enough, the mutt bit him again! All Raziel could do was try to shake him off his arm, clutching the spot where he had been bit.

Jove struggled to hold on, but the monster was finally able to shake him off. In a way it was much easier to latch onto things when he was in his natural form. Flailing would simply send him flopping uselessly in the air, with little to no leverage to actually pull him away from his 'victim'.
As it was, he only managed to graze the other boil with his teeth when he attempted another attack.

Raziel winced a little bit as the other boil's teeth grazed him again. He wasn't going to just sit back and take all of this. He decided that he was going to give the ghost a taste of his own medicine. He lurched forward and bit down on his shoulder.

It was at that moment Jove realized it was not fun to be bitten. In fact, even with his shirt and jacket on, it still hurt! Right through the fabric! It should have been a revelation for the little pup, like how Ren dropping him on his head should have taught him to avoid pulling tails, but Jove was stubborn. And became even more so when he was irritated.
He knocked the other boil in the head with his elbow, looking for an opening for his next attack.

The other boil jerked his elbow into the side of Raziel's head, causing him to let go of his hold on the ghost. The knock to his head gave Raziel a screaming headache and the room was spinning just enough that he couldn't find his footing to throw a punch back at the other boil.

He was thrown off balance! Jove leaped at the other boil, once again sinking his teeth into the boil's arm instead of using his fists like any normal kid might. The little pup growled around the mouthful of flesh, almost a triumphant "I've got you now!" sound.

The boil launched himself at Raziel and bit hard into his arm, "AUUUGH!" he yelled. The boil was really making him angry, so Raziel attempted to use his FEAR abilities.
Something went wrong and although Raziel managed to manifest two ethereal arms from his sides just below his real arms, they were ghostly. They couldn't touch anything and weren't solid at all. He failed.

Jove staggered back, eyes wide at the sight of those ghostly arms. What kind of monster was this boil anyway? Instead of attempting another bite, Jove summoned up his own FEAR. His tail swished, and mushroom spores filled the air around him in a faint cloud.
And maybe it would have actually done some damage if he hadn't stepped back so far. The cloud's radius was small, as this was the pup's first time attempting to use his fear in a fight, and the cloud quickly dissipated.

Raziel was proud that although his FEAR display didn't harm the other boil, it at least frightened him. Watching as the ghost pulled out his own FEAR, Raziel was unnerved by what was going on and didn't take a single step closer. Once the cloud around the other boil died down, Raziel took a running headbutt into the other boil's chest. BAM!

Jove yelped as he was attacked literally head on, and his reaction was almost reflexive. He brought his elbow down on the back of the other boil's neck before he could pull away fully. At least he wasn't biting or kicking for the time being!

Raziel's headbutt had backfired quite a bit and he was really feeling the battle now. He was moving a lot slower and could only really manage to give a hard shove to the other boil, hopefully knocking him down in the process.
