Karissa 'Little Nine' Kyuuban 'I've come this far alone'Karissa's breath grew heavier as she made the way from Aiya's to school, it felt a lot longer than it probably actually was. Perhaps carrying a heavier than average violin case was making things harder then normal, but she was almost there and there was a few people outside the school now. 'Wasn't school still in session, why were people outside during classes?' something was off here, perhaps she'd be finding out quiet soon. "J-...Jo(shu) I... finally caught up you, that was a pain." She wiped a bit of sweat from her brow before looking up at the man in front of the the group and the group. Some blue hair girl, and someone that seemed to be that famous young detective. Well this was an odd group, but the person that stood out. Samurai armor and a tiger ,what was this guy? Just who did he think he was. "Tiger? Since when did the circus get into town." Karissa gave a short smile, really this wasn't the kind of thing one would see normally, a tiger? Seriosuly?

Amelia M. HeartillyAnd then Amelia said 'screw it' since she decided to make it over towards the entrance of school anyway, her grip on her parasol tightening some while worry was fogging up her mind. She was completely unclear of the situation at hand and she has no idea what the status is on the school either. WHy the hell was someone taking the school hostage? Did a student go insane? That thought was enough to bring some chills on her shoulders, she hoped that nobody got killed. Minori texted her that she was going for the fields, but she didn't get another reply after that one. What happened? It was this thought alone that she started to walk faster towards the gate and saw first hand that there was already a crowd. A small crowd but there was one. Naoto. Alright, one of her team members is there, and this is a good thing that's for sure. She could only sigh some, keeping her weapon by her side but only stopped when she noticed something odd. Well for one, what the hell was a freakin' tiger doing here?! What?! And when she looked towards the master she saw that there was a guy of old armor guarding the gate. Wait... Was he involved with the other Devil Kings? Then what in the world was he doing here? She looked to the side towards Naoto then saw that Jo(shu) was around. "Well then, obviously missed a lot." and the tiger. She looked back at the warrior that was at the gate then took one step forward towards the guy, but made damn sure not to go anywhere near the tiger. "Let me inside, I need to get to someone now." This isn't going to work. "Are you a part of the Devil Kings? If so do you know Masamune Date?" Sure she was showing the determination, but to be realistic, she did not want to deal with a tiger now or a fight. She wasn't sure if she had the energy for it either, but if Minori is still in there, she wasn't going to back out of it. Still, she had to confirm just who these guys are.

Aselia Bluespirit
Nod, nod. Aselia seemed to be in distinct agreement with Naoto's words, judging by her emphatic moves of acceptance of the boyish girl's words. There were people who you could negotiate with, but those whose first action was to threaten the murder of children probably couldn't be reasoned with very easily. Extremists. Sigh. Always really, really troublesome to have to deal with, and one of Aselia's hands slowly tightened, as if getting ready to grab some kind of hilt. What else could she do for now? She wasn't the talkative sort (though mainly by choice more than anything else), and there were limits to the nuances of her normal monosyllabic way of communicating. Yet body language would probably tell enough; she didn't trust this samurai at all.

"Aaahg, of course the main gate is guarded, as well..." Regan scowls to herself as she comes to a stop at the main gate, looking at the tiger, now. She had been looking back at the school, worried over Satake. "But... what's with the tiger?" She looks at the big cat, rubbing the back of her head before she shakes her head, turning to Hirotsuna. Her other hand is busy holding her sheathed katana. "Hey, you! You're with Satake-san, right? Some weirdo with a mask rode in on a pink bike and started attacking him. He's weird, but he's not a pushover... It seems like others have arrived, as well, judging by what I saw on my way here. I can't tell, though. What's your name, anyway? I don't wanna keep calling you 'the guy with the tiger' or something." It seems that some students want to get into the school. Even if these guys fail their mission today, if they live, they can try again. Maybe even get support. Though... it isn't likely they'd get support, from their display today.

Black Reaper'Slow'. In an instant black clothing shot over the gate, dropping down behind Hirotsuna Utsonomiya just as a wave of fire shot up from the ground, disorienting everyone in the area. As soon as the students started distracting the ambitious samurai and his faithful beast the so called 'Black Reaper' had fired his zipline, and dropped down right behind the samurai with nary a sound until the blinding flash of fire hit, just as his feet hit the ground softly and his hands moved to pull out his daggers. "It's over, Devil King! Hearing you makes me sick. It's easy to talk about risking one life for many when it's not your own." The Avengers had already moved out, and as the girl who had come running said, they were ending this dangerous situation here and now on every front, for the good of the people of Inaba. As the smoke began to clear mere seconds after the flash of red had washed over Utsunomiya, the long coat wearing figure sprinted forward, crouching low enough that he practically seemed to be sailing over the ground, and in a flash he was past Hirotsuna, twins blades crossed emphatically in front of him. And then as a second passed, two slits opened in the armor the young and vigorous samurai was wearing, an x-shaped wound formed right on the center of the hostage holder's young accomplice. "Tch, missed." He said with a hint of annoyance, hinting that perhaps that first and last blow had been meant to end it...now the samurai might have a chance to react, which meant he failed in handling things without some opposition.

Naoto Shirogane The Detective Prince of Inaba Naoto looked around. It didn't take long for several others to arrive on the scene. Looking around, there was a blonde who seemed to know the boy with her, and Amelia. And then there was the student on the other side, on the inside. Naoto immediately took notice of that.
However before she could do a thing about it, someone else joined. She flinched as something appeared behind Hirotsuna, and in a matter of moments, it seemed he'd struck the samurai, intending on possibly fatally harming him but failing, it seemed. What? Naoto grimaced. "Doesn't matter, we should get inside and make sure the others are still safe...it's possible our guest is going to give us the distraction we need to get by the guard." The tiger though. Naoto wasn't sure if the tiger was harmed enough to focus on the one in black or not. If it wasn't it was possible it could do real harm to any of them. She needed to know that the others were going to go if they tried to find their opening.

Hirotsuna Utsonomiya, Ambitious Samurai...and His Tiger
His logic seemed to be falling on deaf ears; the detective was sharp and while their reasons for doing what they were doing had somewhat managed to reach her, there was an underlying sense of justice that prevented her from accepting the underhanded method that they were using. He supposed she was probably still a bit soft-hearted, maybe a tad naive in spite of the mature way that she spoke and acted, but he could accept her way of thinking just the same. After all, she wasn't the only one who knew that what they were doing wasn't the most ethically sound plan, but unlike her, he had made up his mind to willingly become the villains if it put them in a position to defeat that man, the one who loomed like a tyrannical specter over all the country, watching over them and plotting with his calculating eyes. With his wisdom and cunning he could have done so much for good, and yet Motonari Mori had only thought of himself for all his life, for himself and the people of Aki...all others be damned. And that was a way of life that Hirotsuna could not accept, nor could any of their alliance, the reason they were willing to do dirty work in order to see that the reign ended. It was with that in mind that he accepted his fate, the battle that was about to come, but no sooner had he resigned himself and gripped his spear than his senses went sharp, a growl from his tiger alerting him to the approach of a concealed enemy. Shifting slightly, it was only by luck that he escaped an incapacitating blow from the man who had landed beyond him now...his voice was muffled as he grit his teeth in pain, turning around with his spear instantly at the ready to view his foe. ...And this was a face that he couldn't say he recognized, as it was covered in a white mask. Black coat, blades and wires...who was this enemy? The disguise was familiar...where had he heard the name before? What was it?
"Ha! You don't know anything about me. I came here ready to die, to risk my life for a cause...but unlike you and your master, we're only using one person for our job, rather than subjugating an entire country! And who are you to talk about doing things the 'right' way after a surprise attack like that!? Why don't you just give up now and think about what you're doing?" the former Devil King asked confidently, raising a hand away from the spear and holding the palm out forward in a stance...his wound ached and his armor was already compromised from the surprise attack, but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve before he could give in, "No? Then how about I show you all the ways I've been thinking about for how I can defeat you!" As if on cue, there was a sudden roar and a leap from the side, the tiger springing for a flanking attack, claws and fangs out as it pounced at the reaper. The samurai smirked as he felt the blood pumping, his chance at a real battle finally having come! His spear began to shift into a blueish hue and he pulled it back in preparation for a thrust, his other hand still held out in front of him with a ball of mist forming inside of his palm. "First, I'll use my tiger!" he called out, before suddenly there was an explosion of water like steam erupting from his palm...and all the gate area was covered in a thick, milky fog so thick you couldn't see a few feet in front of you, "And then I'll use...the FOG!"Quote: Tiger Strike! - Tiger pounces for an attack! (Target: Black Reaper) The FOG! - Cover the field in a thick mist which obscures vision and muddles senses.

Koyomi Izuya: Perfectly Elegant Maid "I FOUND YOU!" a female voice called out through the trees bordering the school gate. Finally after days, no Weeks of searching she had located her target. There he was and this time she wouldn't let him get, no escape. "There you are, BK-201!" the voice called out once again before a female figure clad in a white an blue maid out came crashing through the trees a random barrage of knives following suit with her appearance. With a graceful landing she still skid across the ground as the The FOG! covered the area. 'NO! I ... won't be able to see him now, damnit I need to see!' this wasn't helping, not at all who was this fool even, why was he here? Who did he think he was getting in the way of her and Hei. That was a foolish move, not that the samurai knew about that little fact nor did she actually expect him to know. That didn't matter, so long as Hei was around she would be around, but the minute he started to move she'd follow behind like always. True that barely ever worked because he'd like grappling hook away or vanish in some way she couldn't follow him, but damned if she wasn't going to try.

Jo(Shu) Michieru, the strange Senior And as if cued by the mysterious forces that guide the universe, a great many people popped up, from Amelia to Karissa, to the maid-outfit wearing woman he remembered from Junes, to whomever the figure with the zipline was. Crazy day. he thought, before The FOG! took over.
Having only the vaugest idea where anyone was, and not sure if the person would stay in place, Jo(shu) figured he'd give something a try. "Kari! Heartily! Get out of here! We should leave this to that masked guy!" he yelled, before reaching into his pocket. At least with the way the mist blocked everyone's view, he didn't have to hide.
Breaking the Crystal, and applying his usual mask, Jo(shu) felt the powers flowing through him as usual, and as he pulled the daggers out of thin air again, he focused his power.
Staying silent, he then winged his arm in the direction he'd seen Hirotsuna in, sending along with it a Powerful Panta Rhei Spell. If he was lucky, the intense winds would help clear things up a bit, and hey! Maybe even make contact with the enemy. Of course, with fog this thick, it was impossible to tell.Quote: Jo(shu): **Sif Form** Action: Panta Rhei (+ Medium wind Damage) Hirotsuna Utsonomiya. (Or at least in the direction he was seen last.

Aselia Bluespirit
As the fog spread out over the battlefield, Aselia grabbed Naoto (whose arm she'd still been very close to) and shifted into her Atma form. Wings flapped once, then twice, and Aselia pulled Naoto up from the battlefield so that the other girl could try and get a clearer view of what was going on by looking from above. Not MUCH clearer, sadly enough, but... slightly better, anyway. "Nn?" Aselia queried her boyfriend's companion. She seemed to be asking if Naoto had any orders or comments to give; if it was within her power, it seemed likely enough that Aselia would oblige as best she could.

The masked man!? No! Sure, they may look like the bad guys, here, but Regan's talk with Satake... "Your rooting for the wrong person! This is an act of desperation, made with the interest of the people in mind! This is the only action available to a group of people who wish to save us from a cruel and illegitimate shogun!" Dammit, if she can't convince them, then she really was useless during all this. Then explosions sound from behind her, from about the place where the shoe locker is. "Explosions...? Satake-san!" She grits her teeth and turns back to where she heard voices from. She has to convince them NOW. "Do you hear that? That is the sound of the reckless sort of combatant that was sent to engage these samurai. Without care for the safety of anyone else in the room, that nutjob tossed a grenade. A grenade. And with sharp contrast to those careless actions, the man who is supposedly the villain here shielded us with his body. If he's the villain here, then why did he bother to protect us?"

Naoto Shirogane The Detective Prince of Inaba Naoto grimaced as the fog set in, making it too impossible to see. The only persona she was aware of being nearby was Aselia. Which, actually was confirmed when she felt something on her arm, and then suddenly with little warning, was being pulled upwards off the ground. She looked to see it was Aselia, thankfully, that was, what looked like, pulling her above the fog in the area.
She wasn't sure how long Aselia would be able to held her there, but Naoto directed her attention at the ground. It wasn't much clearer, but she could make out figures. Hear a girl shouting, she assumed it was the brunette in the grounds. There were maybe four figures moving around a lot more, she could safely assume that was the fight, but there were four One of the others are trying to engage... She frowned, reaching to her side and sliding her revolver out of its holster. Time to have her weapon on hand just in case. "We have to get anyone else stuck in school out of there. The fights seem to have escalated, from the sounds of those explosions." She spoke of the one she had heard from inside the entrance of the school. It concerned her. "You think you can assist me in getting any extra students out?" She looked. Regan appeared to be in a bad spot. Between the entrance where the explosion was, and the fight at the gate. And there another girl too, running out into the open it seemed with a backpack with the handle of some sort of bat sticking out of it. Those two needed to be removed from there. She looked at her gun. Then she could try to land some sort of damage on Hirotsuna. If he thought he was doing right or not, he couldn't stay. She had spotted Minori being evacuated, moments ago, so she no longer worried too much about that. But these fights had to be dispersed, now.
Kuro halted to a slow stop, catching her breath as she looked around. Fog nearby? And just more fighting, she could hear. She frowned. Regan was nearby too, but it didn't look like they could just run out of the school, from the looks of that school gate. She looked at Regan. "I don't think your words are going to do a lot of good at this point. We should just get out of here alive."

 Amelia M. Heartilly
Too much was going on, everything being hard to keep track of when she saw that one of the girls decided to take her teammate and saw the retaliation of a masked man with the samurai. She did hear what the samurai said, but that didn't mean that she understood what he meant or the specifics on who he was talking about. Bringing up the "subjecting an entire country" only led her to believe that he was talking about Mori. If that was so, was... was he part of some sort of rebellion? Just what was going on?! Jo(shu) yelled over at her that they needed to evacuate and she was thinking the same thing. They had to get out of there. She jumped when she heard an explosion from inside, her teeth only beginning to clench a little harder when she was still unaware if Minori was alright. But, something caught her eye, as if to answer this. She managed to look up just in time to see a figure and a head of blond hair just flying right out of the area. What...? ...Flying?! Was that Minori just now? The fog was thickening right then and there and she wasn't able to catch sight of them any longer. What is she to do now? Her eyes were searching through the fog, trying to make sense of the ordeal when her old self was already crying for wanting to stay home. It was Tatsuya who went off with Minori, wasn't it? It had to be... so if that was so, that meant that there was some sort of back up that was happening now. It was a straight on chance for the students to get out of here.
Amelia took in a breath to calm herself then turned to the one who was yelling out some words that were only falling on deaf ears at this rate. The rich girl went over to the girl then patted her shoulder before she retreated her hand, looking at her with a stern face. "That's enough. It looks like backup has already come by to take care of the problem, so this isn't your fight now." her eyes went back towards the second girl who seemed to urge the one she was talking to leave as well. "It's too dangerous so get out of here!" Amelia looked behind her, seeing the fight beginning to escalate and it was starting to get way too dangerous for any lingering students to be in the area, her included. Would Sleipnir be able to take these two?

"Kuro" Adamochi The Borderline Artist In Denial After speaking to Regan, Kuro sighed and looked around. She did NOT want to stick around here. She looked over to notice another girl approaching and speaking to Regan. Kuro looked at the fog. "Is the front gate the only way out? I...I'm not sure I want to run through that." She said, hesitantly staring at the think fog. It made her nervous, the last thing she needed was a panic attack in the middle of a dense fog that sounded like it was hiding something she wanted to be no part of right now. She looked at Amelia again, not yet even noticing the strange fact that there was at the moment a girl carrying someone else flying above the scene right now. Probably best she didn't notice yet, too...

Regan Hiryuu Martial Artist
"Backup? This is not what I want, it's the opposite of what I want." Regan seems quite frustrated. "Dammit! I can't do a damned thing and it's killing me!" She clenches her fists, looking as though she wants to lash out at something. "They're attacking the wrong person..." She's holding herself back from drawing her sword and rushing to help, or going back to make sure Satake wins his fight. But... Amelia is right. She already knew that. This is a fight she has no place in... because she isn't strong enough, not because she doesn't know what's going on. Her fists unclench, a heavy sigh escaping her lips as she resigns herself. Her eyes turn to the sky, a gentle frown on her face. "I am too weak." Her eyes are drawn to the two in the sky... classmates?! Is she... surpassed even by those in her school? Has her daily training and meditation been for naught? She hears Kuro's question and looks around slowly, suddenly feeling rather... heavy. "There should be another way."
Today has been a horrible, tiresome day.
