Ganymede didn't think he was trusting. Not at all. He didn't trust anyone unless they gave him a reason to, but he also knew Sessrumnir couldn't be all bad, not only because he was one handsome guy, but because whatever his reasons were, whether he was getting a kick out of it or he had deeper motives, he was going out at night and transforming and taking down monsters and, inevitably, preventing other people from getting hurt. Even if he ended up being a total douche in the light of day, he at least had that going for him.

And the pretty face...

"You could give me your number," he suggested, his inviting grin easily slipping back into place, and he was shifting closer once again, as if the suspicion and the doubt had never been. "I know some of the knights have regular phones Valhalla gave them, and some of the rest of them might have other ways of communicating with each other. I'm not all that sure. I've only met a few knights, and really talked to even less. We senshi have our own phones, but I can't call civilians from it, just other senshi."

It caused a bit of a predicament, and made communication a bit difficult between senshi and knights, but he didn't think it wasn't anything that couldn't be worked around, especially in this case.

"But how 'bout this?" he offered. "You give me your number, just on a piece of paper or something, and I'll put it in a safe place. I won't show it to anyone else, and I won't look the number up to find out who you are. I don't really want anyone knowing who I am, so I'm not looking to expose anyone else's secrets. Besides, I like the mystery."

He spared him another look up and down before continuing. "When I find out when the next meeting's going to be, I'll give you a call. Not from my regular phone, because I won't want you tracing me either, but from a pay phone or something. Very simple, very basic, no funny business whatsoever."

He was tempted to add "unless you want it," but he thought that might be a bit much. He didn't even know how old this guy was, or what he did outside of this. He could be some dead beat loser trying to make himself feel good by going around taking out a few monsters here and there, or some creep who liked to prey on easy teenaged boys...

"If you don't want to, that's fine. You've got no reason to trust me," he admitted. Then his smile turned teasing. "I might be a little hurt, though."

He thought the idea was a bit of a stretch. He sure as hell wouldn't go for it if their positions were reversed, but there wasn't any harm in trying.

"Sounds kind of BS, not getting a magical phone," he commented with a friendly smile, not really sure if Ganymede was being serious about the phones or not. Again, he wouldn't put anything past this whole... being magic thing. Maybe they get magic, invisible planes, too...?

Sessrumnir stares down at the senshi standing before him as he thought about what he wanted to do. He could either trust him and give him his number, or tell him to take a hike. But then, what else was there to do by one's self...? "Okay," he said, still staring down at the young man in front of him. "I'll give you my number, but for business only," he frowned, but then winked. He really didn't care if it was used for business only. He figured if he had to, he could always get a new number.

"If you have a piece of paper, that is... And something to write with. Unless you can memorize it. But I'd hate to hurt your feelings after you helped me with that bird."

Sure, he could go to this meeting thing of his, whenever it was arranged. He wouldn't mind seeing who else was out there, killing youma. Besides, there was nothing wrong with networking, especially in a dangerous business like this.

"I knew you'd eventually come around," Ganymede replied, sounding more confident than he truly felt.

Somehow he'd managed to save that whole situation and turn it in to something that worked. He wasn't sure how. Because he'd been honest and straightforward? As fickle and flirtatious as this guy appeared to be, it also didn't seem as if he took any BS -- and in a situation that was full of it, what with monsters running around and magic rearing its head everywhere and few good things happening when all they wanted was to bring some good, he'd take whatever positive outcome he could get, and a minor concession from this page, whether he kept to his word or not, was as positive as he could hope for.

They settled the exchange as quickly as possible. With no pen or paper in sight and neither of them willing to power down and reveal their identity to the other, Ganymede made the effort to memorize the number so as to plug it into his civilian phone as soon as they parted ways and he found a safe place to return to himself. It wasn't too difficult. The area code was local, which left only the seven numbers that followed, and once he felt comfortable enough with his ability to recite them, at least until he had the chance to copy them down, it was time for them to depart each other's company.

"Well then, I'll give you a call as soon as I know when the next meeting will be," he said. He continued to show the page the same inviting smile he'd had on his face for a majority of their conversation, even as they moved to leave. "Until then, I'll see you around. I hope I won't be disappointed."

He turned with one last glance over his shoulder, and disappeared down the darkened alley to turn a corner and out of sight.
