It was awkward but it seemed their conversation was wrapping up and that was his cue to go now. At least, it could have been and it would have been more awkward to ignore-- and it could be dangerous overstaying your welcome in the company of higher classes, though it hardly seemed Hyousa would care. In fact, he could guess he may have missed a more subtle cue in her last comment.
"Have a good afternoon, Hyousa," he said, nodding politely, stepping back and continuing out his way.
