"Shut up!" Demi barked out, mostly from reflex. and gave a halfhearted kick at West's shin. Yep, there was no honor to salvage from this point on. "So, this is where i get my light's punched out don't I?" he asked rather quietly, without even bothering to look up at the boil that towered above him, even more so at their current heights and with the pool below giving off the shameful reflection of what was happening above.

At least the kid had courage.
"Uh huh," West replied. "Pretty much." He raised his fist, pulled it back, and swung hard at Demi's face. Not as satisfying as it might have been if he had still be in any condition to fight, but the boil had asked for it.

The solid crunch of fist meeting face was hard to miss, and the sensation was even harder to forget as Demi felt all the blows from earlier leaving him too weary to do much else but sit up, his tail stuck under his rump and frankly, it could stay there right now, wagging was not going to be happening anytime soon.
"Uh, you win, I concede I guess." he groaned out softly, preparing his ears for whatever snide comment the demon of anger had ready upon his lips.
((We decided to call it quits here and had Westus instead of pummeling Demi unconscious or make him dissipate, to have him leave all victorious and bad a**. By no means is the battle over when a character is at 0 HP, it just means that the fear shielding them from serious injury is now gone.
If we did continue and the health bar was to go to -5, Demi would have fallen unconscious, and at -10 he would have dissipated, unable to keep a solid form, technically dying. IC, it would take a few days for him to take physical form again and move around after he reformed in the nurse's office.))

West grinned. "Better," he said, raising his arms above his head and stretching much as he had at the start of this battle. He didn't offer Demi a hand up or even a sympathetic look, he just turned and strolled toward the door. "Yer not as useless as I thought," he shouted back over his shoulder. And then he was gone.

It would have been a little bit of time since West left the gym before the canine boil found the strength to move and hobble his way over to the exit. It wasn't a lie, West completely pummeled him into a mess, but that wasn't going to be the end of it, there would be a round two and Jackdammit, he was going to make sure it was on a level playing field.
But for now, Damien had to stumble his way back to the dorms and lick his wounds, so to speak.
