"That sounds fun!!!" Schuyler shouted with glee. "Are you going to teach me how to swim daddy? And fish!! I wanna see fish!!" She exclaimed.
"That sounds like a good idea." Tashi said. "I think she'll like the fish. Though we'll have to make sure she doesn't get too excited and hurt them." She told him quietly.

"I don't think she would hurt a FLY if it bit her on her bum." Thali replied and grinned at his mate. "She is too sweet she will probably curdle the water."
"Yes Sky, lots and lots of fish to nibble on your hooves, at least you will have swimming partners."
Thali led the girls over to Tide's pond.

Tashi nodded, she knew Thali thought the world of Schuyler. She did, too, of course. But Tashi was one to think more realistically, she knew that when Schuy got excited she tended to stamp her hooves, so she just wanted to be careful.
"They're gonna nibble my hooves?" Sky exclaimed then cocked her head at his last statement. "Are you not gonna swim with me daddy?" She asked sweetly.
When they got to the pond, Tashi stared at how beautiful it was. It always took her by surprise since they didn't come here much. Schuyler pranced around happily as she waited for her dad to teach her how to swim.

Thali plunged into the water and managed to soak Sky and Tashi. "Oops, sorry," he said sheepishly. "Okay, Schuy come here, it's a little cool but not bad." He swirled the water around a hoof and asked, "Arn't you coming Tashi?"

Tashi sighed as she was drenched with water from her loving mate. "Of course." She said simply as she walked into the water gracefully.
Schuyler shifted uneasily, suddenly getting nervous about getting in the water. She took a few nervous steps towards the water, then a few more, until she was in a couple of inches of water.

"You have to get in a little further than that, sky. Come here!" Thali made faces at her to engage her.
He sidled up to Tashi and using his wet tail he flicked water over her butt. "Whoops, it slipped." He smiled at her then he kissed her sweetly.

Sky took a few more hesitant steps towards her father until her belly started getting wet. "Now what?" She asked him, trusting him to not let anything happen to her.
Tashi shot Thali a look as if saying, "Not in front of Sky!" Then she smiled and when he wasn't looking bumped her hip into his with enough force to off balance him.

"Whoa!" said Thali as his mare hip checked him into the water. "Brat," he said, mane dripping onto his nose.
"Well sky now you keep putting one foot in front of the other," he inched closer just in case she needed him. " Cycle your legs strongly enough to keep your head above the water but not so strongly that you rise to far up. One cant fly in water so you needent exhaust yourself by trying."

Tashi snickered as she moved closer to her daughter to help if the need arose.
"Ok daddy..." Schuyler said as she inched forward, one foot at a time as she had been instructed. When she got into deeper water she did as she was told and started to cycle her legs, and to her surprise, she started hovering in the water! She wasn't sinking like she thought she would. "I'm doing it I'm doing it!" She shouted excitedly

"Yes you are! I'm so proud! Tashi, look at our perfect daughter." Enthallion puffed up with pride and strutted a little. "See, your a natural born swimmer juts like Mommy and Daddy."

"Well with a father like you, how could any child not be amazing and perfect?" Tashi doted on her husband and daughter a little. She knew Schuy wasn't their blood daughter but she might as well have been. Tashi took a minute to think what it would be like to have their herd filled with children.
Schuyler smiled in happiness. She loved it when her father praised her, it gave her a sense of accomplishment that only could be gained by his approval. Sure there were other kinds of accomplishment, but Sky was defenitly a 'Daddy's Girl.'

Thali smiled at Tashi, "I think she gets most of it from your side of the family." He nudged his daughter with his nose a bit. He couldn't be a happier stallion. And he couldn't wait to have more children. "We should have a lot more children to be with Sky." he told Tashi. "She looks like she would make an excellent older sister, don't you think? How about it Sky, would you like some brothers and sisters?"

Tashi looked at him with love, then she nodded as she smiled. She too wanted more children. "And then we could have all of them bother Tide, wouldn't that be great?" She asked with a giggle.Schuyler's ears perked up, "Brothers and sisters??" She exclaimed happily. "I would LOVE to have brothers and sisters to play with!" She swam circles around her parents in her happiness.

Enthallion laughed loudly, "That old stallion is gonna need a vacation from all the foals."
Thali watched his daughter. "More like a fish every minute, we will have to make sure that Tide doesnt steal you and keep you in his pond to play with the fishies." Thali snorted, "Who knows you might grow a fish tail."

Tashi laughed at the thought of Tide being bombarded with foals. "But it would be funny, don't you think?" She asked playfully.
Schuyler stopped swimming in circles. "Why would he want to steal me daddy? I don't want to be with fishies all the time. I can feel them nibbling my hooves and it tickles!" She exclaimed. "I don't want to grow a fish tail!" She said in fear as she swam in tight circles watching her tail.
