o-o I admit I'm not very good at fundraising (no, not at all), but I, too, don't think bump shops or tektek shops work very well. :/ For one, it doesn't make a lot of money. If you're running/really want to run a Bump Shop for personal interest then go ahead, but not for the Ball. >.<
Poy, what do you think? OAO I'm clueless at this! I think an art shop is good, and last year we ran a badge shop. And since we're trying to avoid repeating what the fundraising team is doing, these are the best choices we have.
And what happened to the Bump shop you ran last time, Poy? O__O

If a Bump Shop will only do large orders and charge a fair or high price for them. Then they can make a lot of gold. (Bribe Bump Shops in other words.) And actually as you make gold when you post, being paid to post in a certain thread isn't a bad idea. But this pretty much means that it's the bumpers themselves making the real gold. xD
I think we should do the Art Shop, I'll make a thread for it.
As for a Badge shop... Could you link to the one your thinking of?
The only other Shops (That I can think of.) That aren't being done yet are...
Graphics Shop. (But I wouldn't want to put that one Harm as shes the only one with enough talent to make it profitable. >.>')
Breedable Pet shop (You know those Pets people keep in their sigs? We would need a sever and people good with coding, and graphics, and art, so yeah... I don't see this happening.)
Tarot/Divination Shop. (Fortune Telling.) I used to run one of my own. But I don't like these shops very much. To many people see them as a scam, not to mention that they aren't the friendliest bunch of people.... (They tried to close down my shop more times then I can count. Dx (I mean the other people running these kinds of shops. x.x )) So yeah....
It looks like a Quest Thread and an Art Shop are our best bets so far. ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

For tarot, if you truly do them then you should know the number one rule of magic is to not use it for profit. I own a set of angel cards. They do not like being used for profit, as do a lot of other people I know who own cards. I'm surprised your cards didn't leave you, unless you really don't believe.
I believe that to buy from a tarot/spell/divination card, you will never get a fully accurate reading and the spells often work different from what you meant them to work. I've bought from spell shops before, never turned out right.

There are many different paths, many different beliefs, and many different ways things works. And saying such leads to arguments far too often. Yeah... No one Donated because of the badges, in fact while that only got about 250k, The fundraiser the year before were we only asked that people donate got 600k. >.>' ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

It's where you create a set numb of boxes with 'cheap' prizes and two or three grand prizes. People pay 2k for a box of their chioce. They are garunteed a prize, but understand that the non-winners are cheaps. We could all toss in a few inventory trash and I could toss in some of my unused IEs. If whoever runs the fundraiser wants to do it that way then I guess it's fine, as long as they keep track.
