"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"

"Yes, I do! " She would have gave him one of her looks, with her hands placed on her hips had they not been in such a dangerous situation! Even she knew when to take some things seriously. "You must not have the weapons we have in this world where you are from..My weapon is unique to me, there isn't many like it." She said. "...What?? Laguna died there?! " Maybe she was really very confused, it was Rinoa after all. This entire Conflict of the Gods was far to confusing to her! "But..he's alive, he's always been as far as I've known him, and he's also in this world too with Squall and my other friends..You should meet them, when we get out of here. I"m sure they would be happy to see you! " Well, Squall might not jump for joy, but maybe Laguna would!

After he noted what she said about Squall and hers relationship, Rinoa blinked at him. "That's all? Just a Indeed? Oh, that's no fun! " She said in a teasing voice.

As he went to explain furthermore on the conflict of Gods, Rinoa listened, and tried to let all this new information sink into her mind. It was a lot of confusing things to take in! "..I don't get it. Why couldn't I be there too? I could have helped too...! It seems..only certain people were chosen to go into this war. " She frowned, really, had anything ever happened to Squall horribly, she would be completely distrout of not being able to be there for him. "...I don't know who this Kain person is, but I don't like him already!" Bad news for Kain when she did meet him. He might get his ear chewed off! That was far worse then any physical pain of battle one could ever go through when it was Rinoa Heartily! What he said about the memories, Rinoa placed a hand under her chin, thinking.. "I'm sure you're memories will come back, If they were happy memories, no one could take them from you!"

Then, his next words came and Rinoa went back into her little blushing fit, though this time she clasped her hands together, doing a little hop once in excitement. Even there he thought of her! Surly he meant her! "Oh, Squall....He's so sweet. You see, We made a promise once! But that's our little secret! Hee,hee! " Poor Light, he was to be here stuck with Rinoa alone, a girl who didn't hide a single feeling she had, no matter her situation!

Finally, as they reached there next area of the castle in the Terrace, they would next see another strange monster, Krysta, which hovered there looking right at them.

"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"

Rinoa was finally quiet, at least for a short moment. Whatever this strangeness was, she was at least happy that Laguna, and whom ever the other five as he said were most likely back now. Obviously she knew Laguna was! "So ..confusing...But as long as he's okay here and safe.." She didn't know he wasn't exactly as safe as she thought.As he mentioned the duties he had, Rinoa glanced at him as she walked with the armored Holy Knight. "What duties? If you don't mind me asking. " She asked quietly, listening to him explain who he didn't want to stay with Avalanche, she did agree to some of what he said, though. They did seem to get into arguments with one another far to often, that was no friendship, or the way of a family as they all were said to be. "....Um..This one who started something over food, would it have been a younger women of very long blue hair? " Why was this not so hard to guess? Rinoa did know Azura well, and, even became decent friends with her. Why would she not? She was dating her son after all and apparently married with many future kids as well. "I know there area few strange one's in Avalanche, If it is who I'm thinking of, the girl with blue hair is Azura.. she's a Serenitan, people from another world who can shift into special beings, most of the time they seem to be mythologal creatures. Azura is a Mermaid. All she does is tries to protect life, all forms of life, animals, and especially the sea. Trust me, I've tried to cook fish once and she stole it only to release it back into a lake! I think everyone by now knows not to be seen eating any life-form in front of her by now.." She said, laughing a little. Rinoa didn't want to see animals die ether, but.....they needed to eat! "Anyway..Try to give them a chance. They are really great people once you get to know them, and they do protect each other when danger strikes."

Rinoa again continued to listen to all he had to say,so in some alter nit reality, she may of been in one too, or not? This was so strange! (" I wonder if...I would be stronger if I was in some sort of war too? " ) She thought to herself. "...Besides, if you don't stay with us, where will you stay? Actually..! I'm sure that Squall wouldn't mind you staying at the Garden if you need a place to stay. You can't just wander around alone, there's no fun in that. Everyone need's to be with someone, some kind of companionship. With all the enemy's we have this day, it's best not to ever be alone.." And here she was saying that while she was the one who left to here alone!

Rinoa shook her head at him, oh she couldn't stand such...serious people sometimes, but then at the very same time, she loved trying to lighten there hearts some.

Finally, as the next fight began, Rinoa aimed the Shooting Star for the creature, The razor sharp blade collided with Light's attack, creating an even greater deal of damage. Another weaker one that wouldn't last to long, but as they progressed, they would start to get at least a little more difficult. The Krysta gave off a loud, screeching howl as the attacks struck it, the sound of ice or crystal breaking or splitting apart just from the sheer energy of Light's attack, and the little damage the Shooting Star did. "Magic's been restored since the last one, now, watch this, Light!" She said in a sudden cheerful tone! Suddenly both Light and Rinoa seemed to fade from the room, a sort of safe transport of keeping them safe while the attack was in process. White glowing orbs filled the sky which strangely opened up around the creature, as those many orbs went slamming into the Krysta repeatedly, up until it was no longer moving! Once the target was destroyed, the two appeared right in there very same spot they were standing.

"Well! Surprised?? I told you I could fight!"

"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"

Rinoa frowned a little, she really, really wanted to know! She was like a curious cat, which was probably why she always ended up in so much trouble all the time! But, she just nodded her head, maybe he would tell her later, when they got to knowing one another better? "Thought so..She can be a little on the annoying side, but she really means well. That's why I couldn't stay mad at her! She does what she believes, she's stronger then I am.." Shocking, that Rinoa could admit to that. She really was, who went out to save animals and dolphins against deadly whalers every day? No one..Azura never really seemed to care about her own safety at anytime ether. Still she always managed to escape or survive any deadly attacks she would fall prey to. For one who couldn't heal, she was amazing at survival when she actually was hurt! "You think they would hurt each other just from a little conflict? No no no..She, and who ever she was arguing with would never use violence on each other..I know that for sure."

"You know, Squall was just like that. He wanted no friends, but...I helped him with that. " She said seriously now, her tone was even softer. "Fighting isn't the only way of life, Light..I know i'm not making my self sound wonderful right now, for what were doing here, but...I don't like to fight honestly. You're friends would give you strength, more so then you thought possible! And should you find love, you will be amazed at how great life is once you've found it. Find that one person to keep you safe...Though I guess in you're case, you could both protect one another." She tried to make sure she didn't sound like she was saying he needed protection, just, in the ways of love, the two often always protected each other no matter how strong the other was. That was the way of love! "I don't know a lot about you, I know, but um...Well. We are a team right now, right? So, we can be friends...can't we? " Rinoa then shook her head a little again. "Sorry, But concern is a part of me when it comes to friends. And rather you agree that we are friends or not, I'll see you as that. You were a friend of Squalls, you helped me back there, so that's it! "

Ten came his last comment, Rinoa may of thrown a fit had they not been in such a situation during this next small battle, though instead she just gave him a displeased look! "So Knights can be big meanies too!" She said in a playful tone.

"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"

Rinoa nodded some, glad he understood her a little better. She really didn't want him to think of her badly. Azura never meant to start up a fight or anger anyone, she just wasn't so easily one to give up what she believed so strongly in. Which was protecting her more helpless friends of nature.She wasn't perfect of course, that being one of the many things that made that true."Just don't think badly of her, she really is a good hearted person once you get to know her, when she isn't chasing us down for eating an animal or fish.! "
"You can't say that! You are a nice man, caring for others, handsome, and I'm sure someone else will see that too. You will be surprised. And when that day comes I get to say I told you so!" Rinoa said playfully, her comment of him being handsome was true, but really very much a true compliment, she was in no way flirting with him. "That's not true...I'll make sure of that. You do have friends even if you don't accept us as such. People would care for you, and do care for you. " Rinoa sighed at that.She -really- wanted to help him see that his life could really be so much more then he thought. It depressed her he even thought in such a way. "Don't be like that...I hate to see someone so down and think so little of them self. You are Light, I beleive strongly that things will start to look up for you...Believe that! Don't think of you're self as just a weapon...You're much more then that..Maybe that's why you go by that name, The Light in you're heart is only shadowed by the doubts you have clinging to you're mind. But once you see and believe there IS something for you out there, You will be even more of a Warrior of Light to protect the world!" She paused a moment, thinking..... "You know, you say you were born for destruction, but I think you were born for something more. I think the very reason you were born and exist is to BE that Light, to be the one who can save everyone and those who fall into the darkness..It will be you who is there for them. You're heart that reaches out and saves even our darkest enemy's. "

"Terra? Who's that? " She asked, looking at him as they walked deeper into the castle.

"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"

"I don't need to know a person very long to see the good in them. " Rinoa stated, her voice was unusually softer as well as serious. This wasn't how Rinoa tended to act, as she was always usually so high-spirited about everything. "I think it is you that's wrong, but, I guess we will see. I don't think of you as some vanquisher..rather you believe that or not. If you cant see inside you're self that you are a better person then you seem to think, you're going to lose strength by doubting you're self!"

"...Oh..So she wanted to help you too, then? Is that why I remind you of her? " She asked quietly.

"You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"

"They may, and they may not. It's hard to believe that can happen when our enemy's have been so troublesome in our lives, but it has been done. It can be. Do you know Sorceress Edea? She was a good hearted women once, Took care of children at an orphanage..And one day she was taken control of by Ultimeicea, but she did this to protect them..She didn't want any danger coming to her children. Edea lost her powers the day I became a Sorceress, and was herself again some time ago when we fought her..But now, Ultimecia took her again. " She said softly. "I think you and I can help her return to herself again, but...It might require her being beaten pretty badly, or Ultimecia enough for her to possibly lose her control. " She didn't think that was possible, but, who knew? "That truth doesn't sound very......true? I don't believe it! Um........" She paused, rubbing the back of her head with a small innocent giggle. She could really get carried away in conversations sometimes. How did Squall survive? "You're right...Later then! I won't let you get away until I see what Mr.Light of Destiny looks like when he smiles!"
