One of Faelan's ears flicked, and her tail twitched with supressed excitement. Looks like she had found a new hobby to do when ennui struck. Also, this new female, Isis, seemed like a ton of fun to hang out with. "Well, I'm not too concerned about bears and mountain cats, but I suppose it is best to learn uninterrupted." She grinned back at Isis mischieviously.
"Lead the way, friend, I'll be right behind you." Faelan purred, she couldn't wait to learn this cliff diving thing. New adventures were always fun.

"Come on...." Isis chuckled as she nudged the other vixen with her muzzle, then started to skip off toward the one lake that she knew about in this area. It was the best place to learn how to cliff dive. There was this really high cliff, and a baby step cliff so it was for all users. First, Isis was going to teach her friend from the lowest cliff, then when Fae got a little more comfortable with cliff diving she would take her to the higher one.
"Let's run!" She giggled as she darted off into the trees.

A quick grin appeared before Faelan sprang after Isis. The purple coated female stretched her muscles, pushing her gait to it's limits for a few paces to pick up speed. As she caught up to Isis, Faelan pulled back, staying just behind the other female. Faelan wasn't sure where they were going, though the general direction Isis had picked would take them to the larger lake in the area.
Faelan tried to remember if there were any spots to jump off the cliffs there, but drew a blank. She hadn't been paying attention to that since she'd never thought to go cliff diving before.

Isis giggled as she ran through the forest, loving the feel of the gravel under her paws, and the breeze in her face. Exhilarating! There was nothing better then a run through the forest, hair whipping against her face as she laughed. Looking over her shoulder she spotted Faelan on her heel and giggled. It looked like the other vixen was enjoying the run just as much as she was. Too bad the lake was right up ahead, or she would have gone full speed. It would have been interesting to see which of the vixens was the faster runner.
"Right here!" Isis yelled over the dull roar of the wind, "Do like I do!" She smiled wickedly. The vixen often did reckless actions, and what she planned to do now was run right off the cliff and dive down into the lake that way.

Faelan watched Isis hurtle over the edge of the cliff and skidded to a stop just at the edge of the cliff. Leaning over the edge, she watched Isis make a huge splash and grinned. Taking a leap of faith, literally, Faelan jumped after the other vixen, trying to angle herself so that she didn't land on top of Isis. Wind whipped passed the fox and she was hit with a burst of exhilarating terror before she was encased in cold water.
Paddling back to the top, she broke the surface, already laughing. "Wow, that really is fun." She said with a grin. She blinked water out of her eyes and spun in the water to see where Isis had gotten to.
