Lattice offered a brief smile to Pepin and nodded as she took the paper and then produced a pin out of her obi she signed the paper carefully keeping it attached to the clipboard. Though it seemed her and the ink were having a bit of a fuss together when she went to sign what position she'd like to be in.
Lattice - Printer Monkey Artist (traditional)
She hoped and was certain that they'd have tasks she could do that weren't based solely on technological based things. If not then she'd do what she could! After she was done with that she lightly tossed the clipboard to Hel calling out a quiet, "Coming your way."
Lattice had also accepted the sticker where she a moment to write her name on the sticker as well as what position she wanted again the ink tried the 'Printer Monkey' label again but she managed to scribble it out. "Thank you for the kind welcome," she said softly to Pepin once she got the sticker onto her top left shoulder. Glancing back she saw a boil and bowed slightly to him, "Welcome. This is the meeting place for the newspaper," she confirmed after greeting him.
She was trying to be friendly!

Hel perked up when Pepin waved at her, and the ghoul waved back, a small grin coming to her face now. “I think it’d be a bad omen to see dust bunnies in here, friend…” Dust bunnies with those sharp teeth and all the electrical equipment in here? That’d just be a disaster waiting to happen. Hel looked thoughtful when she was informed that this was the Paranormal Post Club, and rubbed her chin contemplatively. She hadn’t seen any of the flyers, and honestly hadn’t heard about it until now…but…Xiu and Bea…and now even Lattice were here! It seemed like it’d be worth sticking around for. The reaper took the sticker from Pepin, and fished a pen out of her apron before writing her name in it and sticking it to her apron.
“Hello, Lattice!” The reaper called back, and chuckled softly when the Engraver lightly tossed the sign up sheet at her. She caught it easily, and looked it over for a moment. Huh…Reporter, Photographer or Artist huh? Well, Hel didn’t know how to work a camera, and she wasn’t too keen about the reporting part at this point in time so…
Hel: Artist
She looked up when Joachim’s head popped around the corner, also recognizing him from the festival, at Ash’s booth. “Apparently so, friend!” She greeted, now holding out the sign up sheet to the reaper.

Tsetsiliya smiled back at Pepin as she took the sign-up sheet, hand ready to scrawl her own name. The way the glitch ghoul talked about this club, why, it was so terribly exciting! The boss' enthusiasm gave her own a boost. She eyed the names above the empty slot, and what they were applying for. Unbeknownst to her, she and the ghoul in white were thinking along the same lines - she had only experience in photography, and even then it wasn't very much. However, a reporter would put her right where she had aimed to be with this club: meeting new students and getting involved. It was high time to break down her public shyness barrier and really get into something! With that, she signed her name.
Tsetsiliya Pavlova: Reporter
By this time, others had started arriving, so she made sure that the paper was passed quickly along down the line. She grabbed one of the name tags and started to write her name again, but shortened it for convenience's sake to Tset. Given past difficulties with the name for those she'd just met, it was probably for the best. The poludnica then turned her attention to the others as they came forward and signed their own names in succession. Cheeks slightly pink, she offered a cheerful "hello" as they came and went (still feeling nervous all the while). Hmm, perhaps starting with greeting the group as a whole wasn't the best plan of action. Her pale eyes rested on the green-haired ghoul in white next to her, the one who had signed her name before her.
"You are looking at reporting also, yes?" She gave her a shy smile. "I-I am Tsetsi.. Tset. Hopefully we are working together sometime!" She cringed inwardly as the words came tumbling out. Of course you would work together, idiot, you're in the same club.

"Why yes this is the meeting for the student newspaper-" Pepin had been looking down at a couple papers and narrowed her eyes when she spotted the boil but still smiled. "We're just getting settled and whatnot, we have a sign in sheet here-" the ghoul urged the paper onward so he could sign.
"I'd be jack damned if I saw a dustbunny in here, Nu Uh. Not gonna have that. If I did I'd feed it to the printer.." she replied to Hel and peered around the room. If at any point there were stragglers, she'd be sure to pause what she had to say to welcome and introduce each of them.
"So now that I think we're all here and the machine is ready...I'd like us to do a start up exercise to get our creative vibes flowing. WHO HERE DOESNT KNOW EVERYBODY IN THE ROOM?" she asked, preparing to partner people up and counting heads.

"Errr... thank you..." Joachim replied as he finally stepped into the room giving a small wave in return to the needle like ghoul and valkyrie reaper. He tried to ingore the fact that he was the only boil in the room as he took the forms from a valkyrie reaper giving her a nod. However he was sure that his face was probably a different shade of red than earlier. Pulling a quill pen out from his pocket he signed his name in large cursive like writing.
Joachim von Helmar: Artist.
It was the only job that didn't enolve him stuttering to a studen that he didn't know besides photographer and that seemed rather full at the moment. Handing the form to the ghost in charge he half raised his hand.
"Err...... I don't know everyone here......" His voice barely audible cringing at what was going to happen next.

Lattice nodded in return to the boil. At the question she gazed around the room just to double check before she held up a hand showing two fingers, "I only recognize two forms in this room," Lattice said finding it easier to say this than saying she knew no one at all. Always go with the shorter list of who you do know.
The Engraver fell expectantly silent awaiting the next instruction from the ghoul that had pulled all this together. She wondered what she had in store for everyone that could bring creative juices out of them ... and then briefly wondered if it was literal as well.

"Yes!" Xiu smiled at Bea, her tail swishing happily behind her, "I wanted to take up some more photography with my free time, so..." So here she was! That, and now that she knew that Pepin was running the club, she was all the more eager to join. She quite like the glitch ghost ghoul.
She perked up when others entered the room, her eyes lighting up as they fell on Hel and Lattice. "Hel! Lattice!" The Baku made her way up to her friends, greeting both of them with a smile. When she had first signed up for the club, she had honestly been a little afraid that she wouldn't know anyone. Fortunately, that no longer seemed to be something that she should worry about anything--actually, she seemed to recognize most of the faces in here. Tset, she had only briefly spoken to on Groanspring (and she had seemed like an extremely sweet ghoul), but she had spoken to most of the students standing in this room right now.
Which was...pretty surprisingly, actually.
"I know...most people?" Xiu piped up thoughtfully, doing a quick scan of the room. To Joachim, she offered a small smile and a little wave.

Enough time had passed and Pepin checked the hallway for any stragglers. She debated kicking the machine to make it howl but resisted knowing less was more. Plus, if they ended up with too many people the paper would just be too much for so many to handle.
Shutting the door to the classroom, she turned to her team and smirked darkly and awaited everyone's attention. When and if that managed to happen, the ghoul cleared her throat and looked over the now filled sign in sheet.
"Perfect-" Pepin replied to one of her fellow ghosts, Lattice. Having a couple ghosts on the team was perfect for some of the harder stories to cover. "Now ghouls... and boil, I'd like for us to get to know each other a little better. How are we going to do that? SIMPLE! We are going to practice our interviewing skills with one another and feed it through the machine to test our first newspaper special! Don't worry, it won't go out to all the other students so feel free to get a little colorful in your writing or drawing."
A couple of scrap papers and some writing utensils were passed out to each student. "Since we have an even number, we'll pair up and interrogate one another then return to the group with our results."
Quote: PARTNERS1. Lattice & Bea 2. Hel & Joa 3. Xiu & Tset 4. Pepin & Astra ((Take until the weekend to complete this in this thread, I really don't want people to feel pressured to get it done on time! All you need to do is interact some with your partner and write around 200 words or so a summary your char would write about them. You may chose instead to draw the other char and etch out a couple notes about them, it's entirely up to you! Have fun, don't feel pressured, try to at least interact even if you don't end up with a final piece!)) Once the papers were handed out Pepin turned to Astra now and bounced a couple 'steps' to the other ghoul. "So Astra-" the ghost made an over exaggerated attempt to read her name tag despite it being quite clear who she was. As if creeping closer to her wasn't enough Pepin draped a ghostly arm around her waist and bumped her gently. "I don't know a whole lot about you- you should enlighten me. What are you hoping to get out of a student newspaper, are you going to take scandalous photos for me?"

They were going to interview each other? That sounded like a great idea! Astra listened to the details, taking the items that were given and then waited to be paired with someone, who turned out to be Pepin herself.
It soon turned awkward though, as the ghoul got in quite close to her even going as far as to wrap a arm around her waist. "U-umm, I..." It was a little hard tot hink with the glitch ghost so close. "I...want to be prove that I can help out as well" She said. "And the newspaper sounds like something I could do. And I...think so? I'm really fast when I need to be so I can take a photo and then fly away before I can get caught" Well, that was the idea...

Hel laughed at Pepin’s ominous words about feeing dust bunnies to printers, looking over when she also happened to receive a greeting from Tsetsiliya, and waved at her in return. “Hello, friend!” She greeted back, ever the friendly one.
Her expression lit up when Xiu came over to them, and a dark hand reached out to squeeze the Baku’s shoulder affectionately. “Hello, Xiu! Good to see you again!” She replied, “I think it’s wonderful to be in a club with another friend!” She then turned back to Pepin, and replied, “I know most as well, with the exception of a few!” But that was about to changed apparently, and soon Hel found herself paired up with Joachim, and wasted no time in getting to know her knew partner.
The reaper moved back over to the only boil in the club at the moment, grinning widely at him as she shuffled her pieces of paper and writing utencil. “Greetings!” She called out to him cheerfully, stopping before him. It was then her rapid fire questioning seemed to start, after she read his name tag, of course. “So, friend, I believe you are a reaper as well, yes? Do you have a weapon, or a familiar?” Here she pointed her pen at the mouse perched a top his head curiously. Could that be his familiar? Hmm. “Also, what do you hope to accomplish by joining this guild?” Did she just say guild? Yes.

"Help out...
Fast... fly away, GOOD GOOD!" Pepin wasn't writing on anything but she could pretend that she was. "You can guess my intentions for the paper since.. heh," she smirked a little self absorbingly and straightened up finally letting go of the ghoul.
"I want the school to know what's happening, when it's happening, and who all is getting down and dirty with thei-" she paused realizing she was going overboard. "Ahem. Who all is... hanging around on the social ladder. Ghouls and boils are just a delight to talk about and really no harm no foul right? Something like that?" Taking a breath the glitch ghost awaited Astra's response. If Pepin didn't succeed at Amityville she may very well make a damn good monster mobile salesghoul.

She could guess? Thinking about, Astra realized she did have a few ideas as to why the glitch ghost wanted to start a newspaper (finding out stuff about students, taking 'scandalous' photos, stuff like that'). When Pepsin started talking she began to record a few notes on the small scrap of paper she was given. "Want to know...when it;s happening..." she mumbled, then looked up. "Sure, I want to find out whats happening at the school and what everyone is doing and all that stuff" She replied, grinning. "I love being were allt he action is! er..so long as I have a escape route" A thought came to her. "Umm...we'll...er, be carefull not to make up too much stuff about students, right?" she asked. "Because...some of them are big...and scary...and might hurt us if they found out." She was all for making stuff up, but she didn't want to stretch the truth too much, not just cause she wasnt' a complete meanie, but the fact that if anyone found out about it...they could beat her up.

"Pppbffftt.." Pepin held back from cackling. "Yea that's probably a good point... maybe." Someone was over confident that she'd get away with things. "Maybe some things aren't... the truth. BUT THEY ARE ENTERTAINING."
A hand was raised as the ghoul appeared determined to prove herself right. "And by Jack will I entertain.." she mumbled darkly.
Suddenly Pepin's tone changed. "So what else about 'cha? Are you in to any cute boils? Doing pretty good in classes? Tell me about yourself outside newspaper, Miss Astra."

So few more students had entered the room to sign up for the Paranormal Post. Bea smiled as she watched each student take the form to write their names and positions. Her attention was immediately grabbed by a blonde ghoul. "Oh~! Hello... Tset, is it? Yes! I'm going for reporter," she giggled a bit at the rather shy yet enthusiastic ghoul. "I agree! I can't wait to start working together. This will be the most interesting club, yet!"
Bea waved to Joachim and Hel before she came over to Pepin for a quick announcement.
Lattice... The long haired ghost ghoul with needles protruding from her arms. She looked amazing. It was a wonder why Bea never noticed her before. Possibly a new student here as well? Bea approached the ghoul with paper and pen in hand, "Greetings ghouly! You're Lattice, correct?" she put the pen over in her hair for a place holder, "My name's Beatrix, but you can call me Bea for short." Bea gave a warm smile.
"Let's get started shall we?"

"Y-yes, I am thinking so, too!" Tsetsiliya replied to Bea with a growing smile. However her attention was immediately diverted by Pepin's announcement. Oh, it was as though the ghoul had read her mind; something to break the ice would be wonderful! Not to mention it would give her a gateway into trying out her reporting skills. After all, meeting people and learning to be a proper reporter were the reasons she was here.
Xiu, Xiu.. that was the ghoul she had spoken to briefly on Groanspring, wasn't it? She scanned the small crowd until the rested on the baku, and with nervous hands laced together she made her way over. She swallowed her nerves and put on another tremulous but cheerful smile. "You are Xiu, yes?" Her hand extended towards the ghoul. "We are talking on Groanspring a while back, I am thinking? It is nice to finally be seeing you properly!"
