********* giggled as her hat was handed back to her. "In comparison to what you have probably experienced thus far, my magic probably seems like parlor tricks!" She took the hat and set it back on her head. She pulled out the two bags which had formerly had chips in them and held them out in front of her.
"You know, for this trick I think I need something a little bigger. I can used these in it, but perhaps a fuller bag of chips would work better." Whether or not the blonde would assist her with part was of no concern. As she waited for a sort of response, she began to flatten out the two empty bags, then folded them in half. With the new sheets that used to be potato chip bags, she reached to the brim of her hat to lift it up and tuck the sheets underneath her hat.
Her eyes almost seemed to sparkle slightly as she asked "So shall I wait, or shall I continue with this trick?"

Roxy gave the smaller girl a rather suspicious look as she called for a full bag of chips. Given where she worked for a few months of spring, she wondered if she was going to be swindled by *********. She worked with a pirating group, after all, and even though she never did it nor were the tricks of trade ever performed on anything of really large value; after all, it was all for entertainment for the crowds. The blonde still had her doubts.
But even with all that, Roxy passed ********* a bag of chips that had been beside her on the counter with a doubtful look on her face. "Continue." She simply said. Curiosity really getting the best of her now, to see if magic really would be performed or if it would be the usual slight of hand.

This girl certainly seemed to look at ********* almost intensely for a while there before she seemed to grudgingly grab a bag of chips. "Why thank you my dear!" she said as she pulled off her hat. Hadn't the feline slipped those empty bags under the hat? Now they weren't there, though ********* did not seem to make a fuss about this. She held her hat out in a manner where the blonde could easily check the inside of the hat itself if she felt so inclined.
Now with a bag of chips at hand, she set it on her head almost sitting upright. It slouched a little no matter how straight she attempted to settle it down. "Now you see it!" Spinning the hat a few times between her fingers, she then placed it on her head, over the bag of chips. It wasn't exactly all that difficult to figure out that the next words to come out of the guardian's mouth would probably be "Now you don't!"
However, the conclusion to why she'd say such a thing was not the manner in which a classic magician would have used. If she had been a classic magician, she might have pulled her hat off her head and shown the chips had magically disappeared. Such wouldn't have been all that difficult to pull off for the Great *********, instead, the moment the hat had gone on her head, she tilted forward for a slight performer's bow, then immediately shrunk down. It was almost within a blink of an eye that she went from a mere cat-earred girl to a cat. No hint of any of her clothing remained. All the round tailless animal wore was that collar about her neck.
"...and now you don't!"

Roxy would have clapped if she wasn't just staring confounded at ********* little transformation into her feline form - of COURSE she could turn into a cat. Silently, she found her own bag of chips again and popped one in her mouth. Just staring and chewing on chips at the little tailless cat that was on the ground where a shorter girl once was.
Finally, after a few minutes of silence, and one empty bag of chips, Roxy let out a very dramatic sounding sigh as she reached over to the small pile of bags she had accumulated by accident and pulled them into her arms. "Yeah..." Was her only response, and she took in another deep breathe.
This, well this just seemed to be more icing on the weird cake that was the past few hours, days? Whatnot, whatever. Sure, there had been more magic being thrown at her than she would have ever expected in her lifetime - and that it was REAL - but this was just.... Roxy just needed to process this really.
"I'm going to go." She stated a few more minutes later, bags in hand, and turned and left.

Ah yes, stunned into a practical silence. It was a common reaction. Even the hints of denial that seemed to escape her almost reminded her of a certain blonde she knew was lingering about in the Leo outpost.
When this blonde excused herself, ********* might have let her wander off if it wasn't for one detail. She had never gotten her name. So quite persistently, she began to pad along next to the girl. It was hard to ignore the little manx as her collar was a constant reminder of her presence.
"It would be a pity to part ways without learning your name. Might I ask what it is?"

Roxy's eye almost twitched when she realized the sound of that bell was following her, the one that she had heard when she got into this whole bizarre conversation. It was low and getting closer, which some form her her brain managed to discern that ********* was still in the form of a small cat and hadn't decided to look like a person again.
Her mouth pulled into a sort of half-frown, realizing what the cat was telling her. For someone who relished in information from others, she sure hadn't put in her part of the bargin; even though the rest of her crew seemed intent on keeping their mouth's shut on some subjects. Roxy sighed, "sorry," she apologized quickly without looking at the cat at her heels. "You can call me Yellow," she followed with after. Seemed to be the way she was always going to say it, claiming it to be her name sounded just odd to her tongue.
"So, are you really a cat or a person?" She found herself asking as the pair rounded a corner and down another hall. The blonde wanted to get it straight in her head to which form was more natural to the little manx.

"Yellow?" The feline giggled a bit, her voice seeming to grow a bit airy with the sound. "I take it they don't call you Mellow Yellow, do they?" The cat had heard that song in passing a radio before and it obvious stuck well enough for her to make the reference. She continued to trot along next to Yellow's ankles regardless of her response.
Every so often yellow eyes fell upon her, only to be met by the manx's own green eyes. A question even seemed to tumble into the air as they walked, a very natural question in all honesty.
"I would venture to say that you probably have some good deductive skills. Which do you think is the answer?"

Roxy felt her eyes roll from the little jest from the cat, but couldn't stop herself from replaying and continuing the little reference further, "quite rightly," she muttered. She at least was proud of herself for knowing the rest of the lyrics. Or at least the chorus. It was a simple song, but she didn't hear it too often, just like the cat and only in passing really.
And she only sighed when ********* proposed her question and little riddle, not even answering her fully. This was only going to prompt the blonde to get a better look down and she did so after situated the bags in her arms to lean a little. "Hm..." she exhaled, just staring at first.
The bells, the ears and the earlier conversation all lead her to the conclusion, "a cat," she muttered loud enough for ********* to hear. "So I guess being a weird space cat gets you to talk and turn into a person and such, because obviously you're not an offset of evolution." Roxy gathered as she continued down the hall and took another turn.

If there was a way for the cat to give the blonde a thumbs up, she would have. Alas, all ********* could offer was a wide grin.
"I knew you'd get the answer right... though your full assessment isn't 100% accurate." She winked a green eye at the girl, but then did not follow it up with an explanation. Yellow didn't need to know about the fact that the other form wasn't quite that of a person. Especially when compared to Zue or Zirconia, both of which had full fledged human forms. That was what ********* considered to be a person.
The pair continued to move forward, and ********* couldn't help but point out an observation of her own. "I take it you have others you are going back to now, yes?" If Yellow had been truly on her own, she might not have gotten so fussy about not having all of the chips she had before.

It was really weird getting a wink from a cat, Roxy decided. Not much less weird than anything else she had been seeing lately but it reminded her of those odd commercials where they CGed cats doing human like behaviors. At least it looked better and more realistic, so Roxy said nothing about it. Just blinked down at the cat and turned her head back to where she was going. Which was out.
She also didn't press the matter of ********* statement, sure she was usually power mad on grabbing information but there was only so much of this Roxy could take in one day; besides, it wasn't gossip so how was it going to really come into play later?
"Yeah, my crew," she explained in the term they had decided on. Friends was a little weird to describe them since a few seemed acquaintances at best, they were familiar enough but they didn't hang out on a daily basis. Besides, calling themselves a crew sounded rather cool and important or something; besides, Flannery thought herself a pirate king so why not indulge?
"We're actually at Leo's Outpost but I wanted to figure out this place first, then got hungry." Roxy admitted with a shrug. Truth and all, and she felt it was only right to take some food back, even if it was only a snack.
Roxy felt her yellow eyes back on the cat when an idea occurred to her, "I don't suppose you can be an escort to Leo's, can you? Those senshi people insisted that someone tag along if we went to place to place and I really don't feel like finding one of those people right now." Not when Wallace was getting it into their heads that they were to blame, which she was beginning to agree with.

There were a couple nods, and aside from the jingling sound that followed, nothing extraordinary seemed to come out of those nods.
"I would love to meet your crew... but only if you are willing to share..." Obviously the two bags of chips had not been enough to satisfy the small animal's rather large appetite.
When asked if she could be considered an escort, the feline giggled in that airy manner she always did. "I most certainly am quite able to be an escort, Yellow! I think the only ones out here who cannot be considered escorts are the ones who aren't able to go back to Earth." However, a Zodiac senshi might miss her as an escort at her current height, so the manx then lightly leaned in and bumped her head against the blonde's ankle.
"Mind giving me a lift?"

"It won't be my decision," Roxy informed ********* about the food. She had found all this for her friends, and she wanted to make sure they got their fair amount before dividing the rest to who else was around.
But the notion that she was going to be bringing a talking cat to the little foothold in Leo's Outpost brought a grin to her face. She really was curious how the others would react to *********; 'hey guys, if things weren't bizarre enough, here's a talking cat that can turn into a person!'
Oh, it was too good to pass up.
"Only if you don't actually weigh as much as a person." Roxy eyed the cat, watching her weave around her ankles in that classic 'I'm an adorable cat!' fashion. It was physics, wasn't it? Mass displacement or something? If ********* was a small cat who turned into a person about her size... did that mean she weighed as much as a person or.. a cat... or?
- oh this was hurting her head. Roxy shook it to clear up any thoughts of science as she fumbled with the bags again to cradle them in one arm as she reached down to scoop the small cat up with the other. She didn't want to really crush her find, nor carry ********* like a football all the way there and finding she weighed as a cat should, the blonde settled for draping the manx on her shoulders.
"No eating my hair." She warned, finally getting on back to Leo's Outpost.
