Wow, so this was voting is all about huh? The hell-hound never got to see something like this before, it was actually quite thrilling. Choosing your fellow peers to lead them, not to mention that he knew quite the assortment that were in the running. It was nice to feel so connected to everyone. Before he could put pen to paper the hard part came.

Choosing.

Pick Riley pup! No way, pick Barth, he's nicer~
"Wha-what the-" he mumbled as he bubbled in his choices.
and it only continued as the vague whispering continued on as he made his selections. most of the time it was ignored.

Ey runt, pick Christof! Why would you do that, Christof is much better
"Its the same jacking patchwork!" he growled out before bubbling it in and tuning out everything.

It would have been much easier to just vote for Count Chocula for all the positions.

Including Bedroom.

Siddie had already made up her mind about her votes before she stepped into the voting booth. She had Serious Opinions, and she wasn't voting based on who she liked personally. ... Well not just based on who she liked personally, anyway. She marked her ballot and dropped it in with the rest.

---

Nahm didn't particularly know any of these candidates, and he didn't much care. He'd picked out his votes mainly based on ... superficial attributes. Nevertheless, he exited the booth smiling. He'd taken part in the voting process. It gave him a warm fuzzy feeling inside. ... Unless that was just the moldy something he'd eaten for breakfast. That was possible too.

Though she hadn't managed to visit all the booths or listen to all the speeches, she had at least managed to do one or the other for each candidate. In the end, Xiu thought that she had a pretty good idea of who she wanted to vote for in each position. That being said, it hadn't been easy for her to come to a decision--all the candidates were worthy, and the Baku had had to think things through carefully before coming today.

Picking up a slip of paper, she neatly jotted down each of her choices, folded it in half, and slid it into the makeshift ballot box. There, she had done her part.

Now she just had to wait and see how this turned out.

Vieve stared at the slip of paper, wondering if anyone would offer to buy her vote.. whenever there was an opportunity to make money, it was likely she'd seize it.

All things considered, though, she seemed to have already missed her chance; perhaps she should have gone around the booths earlier, when she actually would have had some opportunity to talk to the candidates, strangers as they were.

Some of them were probably rich strangers, at that. Grumbling, Vieve scrawled a few names on the piece of paper, swearing that next year, she'd handle this whole thing better.

This wasn't hard at all. She may have not really listened to the speeches, or paid much attention to bath dancing other than to vomit but Sarias had easily made up her mind to who should be what for the course of the next year. and that of course meant her....for everything. Yet she doubted scrawling her own name across the ballot box and threatening every other being to stage a rebellion in the name of her may not go down well. For some reason she wasn't liked...

Forcing her way past anyone who so much as moved Sarias finally saw her chance to make a difference, to be a part of change....to make someones life so much worse. Sarias Blacksling had voted.

Had it been a year already since the last student elections? Lucien didn't seem to notice at all. In fact, he practically blew right by the election stand, swiftly checking off random names off the list except for one. There was no way he could not vote for them, a smile rising to his lips as he made several checks beside it. For the most part, all of the other positions were merely checked off based off familiar names or names he thought sounded funny.

Done, Lucien floated off almost similarly as swiftly as he arrived.

----------

Lilith hadn't been around the last time elections took place so voting was absolutely a new experience to her. Although having power in a decision certainly wasn't new and it was certainly something the reaper appreciated. She knew exactly who she was going to vote for before she'd even made it to the booth, and exactly who she wouldn't vote for. Considering all things, the options certainly weren't as hard and didn't require that much thinking, although considerably more than it had taken Lucien to breeze though.

After filling out the ballot, Lilith flipped her hair with her hand and then proceed to walk away. Perhaps she'd find something interesting to occupy her time with today.

Politics; there wasn't much to say about it as far as the tatzel figured. Back home, positions were basically just passed down. She hadn't payed much attention to the overall mechanics of the stands and the runnings for the student council elections, but she did hear the speeches.

Filling out her choices- oops. She'd circled the boxes.

...

Along with the circles, she also Xed her choices and put them into the ballot box; yes, that would do. She made her way back to the dorms, flicking her tail in no particular way. That wasn't so hard, now was it? It really hadn't been.

Entering the booth, Colette looked at the list of candidates and fidgeted with her pencil. If she were asked how much time she had spend at the other booths, considering each candidate thoroughly, Colette would embarrassingly give her honest answer of very little. Maybe even none! And that is what was making this so hard.

Count Chocula's booth at the Floresctival sat planted in her memory. She wanted to be fair. That was the right way to do it, right? Then again, all she had to go by were the speeches.

Colette considered and checked off names carefully as if it was something that would drastically change her entire life, then slipped her vote into the box. It was a ridiculously simple procedure for something so stressful.

Danny had spotted Roch going into the booths and decided it looked like a good idea. At first she had been headed into the same booth as Roch, until she realized that wasn't the general idea. You were supposed to go in by yourself. Right. She could do this.

As she entered her own booth, she looked at her choices. Immediately her eyes searched for Count Chocula- he had been so nice and insightful! He was definitely the best candidate for the job right?

But he wasn't there! Danny flipped the ballot over multiple times and searched it up and down. Maybe she just couldn't read his name. Maybe they hid it, and it was like a game. Nope- it most definitely wasn't there.

By this time, she had spent a good 10 minutes or so in the booth, and people must've been pretty confused about what was taking her so long. Danny scribbled a few things on the page, including a wonderful drawing of a pair of scissors and then dropped her ballot in the box. That wasn't hard at all!

The time had finally come for Whisper to cast her votes. Some, she had chosen with out hesitation, while others took a lot of thought. Some of these choices were quite hard, and she hated crushing dreams and hurting feelings. But one vote couldn't make or break it right? That was a terrible way to think of it.

She rubbed her face and looked over the ballot once more. She had checked all the boxes she wanted too, and didn't miss any categories. With a heavy sigh she slid the paper into the designated box and stepped out. Finally, it was done.

Petro had gone inside the voting booth with his choices already in mind. Most of the choices seemed like a complete no-brainer to the horse boil and spent very little time.

------------------------------------------

Maritess, on the other hand, took nearly forever as her lower half consistently managed to get in her own say.

"You want to vote for him!? Why?" she hissed to her lower half.

He has such a nice a**!

"That is hardly a reason to put him in office. This is our school council we're talking about!"

And I'd rather look at someone with a really cute tushie~

Tess' form was probably one of the most erasure-filled ones. She'd apologize except votes were supposed to be anonymous.

His mind already made up, Seiji had entered the both, spent about a minute filling out the form, and went on his merry way. Whistling softly under his breath as he made his way back to the ghost dorms with his hands in his pockets.

--------------------------------------

Hadiyya's choices, though nearly all decided on, had taken longer to fill in. Why? The ballot had looked incredibly plan to the ghoul, and after filling in the names of those she'd decided on(milling over one or two before finally scrawling something down), she'd taken the pen and doodled all around the edges of the paper in flowing, intricate designs.

There, Much better!

Satisfied, the ghoul left. Seeking out a very specific nergel demon to inquire about a trip into town for some eyescream.

Joachim stared at the names fishing for some that he recognize from the booths that he had stopped at picking up some sort of plushie that vaguely looked like them or from their outgoing campaign speeches. The only problem with the speeches was that he had managed to fall asleep through most of them however considering him that wasn't really much of a surprise but of those he could remember he would vote.

Staring for a moment he picked up the pen and meticulously filled in the ballot paying little to no attention to how much time it took, when he was satisfied he slipped into the box and left.

Deacon had cast his votes too late last year, but this year he'd made certain that he wouldn't miss the opportunity.

He already knew who he was going to vote for, spending thirty seconds tops to check off the appropriate names on his ballot and shoving it into the box. Then, he was gone just as quickly as he had come.

-----

Having been left to eat Deacon's dust, Yuki crossed paths with the boil again as he entered. The grin that the feline had flashed him wasn't all that reassuring, either. The ghost tried his best to return it, looking a bit awkward in the process.

Picking up a ballot, the boil selected one of the booths and looked over the little slip of paper.

He vividly remembered the little 'debate' that he and the bakeneko had had the night prior, in which he was told who to vote for. Knowing that voting was his choice alone, Yuki would just have to find some way to lie - something he was terrible at - to make the demon believe he'd not gone against his wishes.

Yuki still spent several minutes in the booth, thinking over the speeches that the students had given. It was all he really had to go by, since he had only really interacted with one of the students running.

After mulling over his choices, the boil finally settled on his votes and quietly slipped his ballot into the box as he made his way out.

Johan frowned as he approached the ballots, and proceeded to read over the names. Quite honestly, he hadn't paid much attention to school-wide 'vote for ____' frenzy, but remaining at least somewhat involved in the current issues was important. Not to mention, he thought as he checked off his choices and slid the paper into the box, it would stop a certain water-demoness nagging him.
