Mandy had been innocently participating in her favorite activity of hallway eavesdropping when she heard them. Hello there, what's this? Ears twitching in curiosity she pushed away from the wall she'd been leaning against and slowly took off after the teachers, sticking to just within hearing range.

She'd never admit to her love of gossip if anyone asked, she was just coincidently heading in the same direction ok.

Calder had been passing by from one class to head back to the next, not very interested in anything other than taking a nap. Seeing the two teachers whispering was a nice distraction, seeing as they looked rather adorable side by side, whispering and looking about. Oh-Oh. What was this? Did the faculty start hooking up and were now sharing little whispers of romance? Calder HAD to stop for this. Pausing, he watched the 2 staff members pass, looking as if he was trying to figure out where he was going, and then turning to drink at a fountain. Glancing, he watched as they passed, turning his ears to hear them.

"Are you seriously sure?"

Sure? Calder wondered if a confession was coming on. Red! CONFESS!! He bolted up, and slowly started to move, not noticing the other students following either considering it WAS a busy hallway and it was rather crowded this time of day.

Two small, yellow lights blinked owlishly at the towering legs and scuffling sneakers. Pulled forward only by its arms, it dragged itself another tenative inch, hesitating and staying close to the locker wall. The floor behind it was not cleaner, but the muck had been stirred around a bit. Another flat, cycloptic device was strapped to the top with electrical tape.

The slowbot continued to crawl, seemingly oblivious to the peril of the crowded hallways.

Danny looked at the group slowly crowding around the professors. They seemed rather serious, but it's not like Danny picked up on it. She got the "be quiet" mood, she didn't get the "s**t just went down" mood.

She strutted over to Calder and whispered, "What's going on pon- ... kelpie Calder?" He looked rather knowledgeable at the moment- that was much better than she was doing anyways.

The doombot in Danny's hand started clattering, and she whacked it once for good measure. It seemed to stop ... she really didn't know how this thing worked. The lights turned off so that meant everything was good, right?

Her tail swished as she walked, violet eyes glancing up from the letter she held to make sure she wasn't about to run into anyone before falling back down on the letter. Probably not the best idea, reading and walking (especially for her), but LW had been amused by the first few lines she'd caught a glimpse of when she'd opened the letter. It was from her family, or more specifically from two of her brothers. They had obviously been fighting over the pen they wrote with, until one got smart enough to get a second pen to write with - part way through the letter a second color ink appears.

It happened to be one of those brief glances up that a familiar professor caught her eye...and the she-wolf quickly ducked out of the way of the...two professors making their way down the corridor. A brisk stride, she thought. Wait. Two professors? Arel and Red? If it had been any other pair of professors walking, LW would have shrugged and kept going. But this particular pair? It gnawed at her curiosity almost painfully until she paused and glanced after the retreating professors.

The last time those two had been seen heading somewhere had been...interesting. Out behind Breck's shed. It seemed, wherever those two tended to head, something dangerous occurred. Or strange. So why had her pace slowly shifted to follow behind them at a distance? Because she had a terrible disease called 'curiosity'. And it looked like she might not have been the only one either. Were others slowly and carefully trailing after Professor Red and Arel for similar reasons? Or did they know something she didn't?

A flash of fuzzy blue and white caught her eye first followed by an all too familiar winged figure. Ren and Natalia! Well, she had an excuse to not-exactly-follow-but-sorta-follow Red and Arel now. Besides, she was pretty sure that Ren would get great amusement from the letter her two brothers had written.

Padding lightly after the two monsters, LW eased around others in the hall (always so crowded during this time of the day!) until she was able to slip right up and bump her hip lightly against the lemur's and slide an arm through Ren's all at the same time. She gave Natalia a bright and warm smile, always happy to see her fellow were. "Hello, lovely!" She said to Natalia in a sweet, if a little quiet, tone of voice.

Glancing up at Ren, she gave him that special smile and added in, "And hello to you, handsome." Her violet eyes flashed forward once, making sure the two professors were still heading the same direction. "What might you two be up to?" She asked casually.

West's eyephone buzzed insistently as he slammed the door of his locker. He frowned and pulled it from his pocket, glaring at its screen.


What? Who had sent this? He raised his hand to throw the offending piece of crap at the head of a passing student, but before he could do so, the phone made a sound that could only be described as 'fzzt' and a tiny plume of black smoke wafted out of its earphone jack.

Oh... kay.

He would have contemplated that bit of oddness further, but it was at that moment that he noticed a certain gym teacher and school secretary and their rather bizarre conversation. West didn't normally give a crap about what the teachers did with themselves, but since he was here already it wouldn't hurt to try and find out what was going on and if it would somehow affect him. The boil shrugged and slowly began to follow as stealthily as possible, most of his attention on his broken phone.

As she was wandering around the school to find someone, Bea saw something... interesting. One of the professors gave a guilty look. It piqued her interest and began to catch up with the first familiar face she could find. "Hello, Shehk." Bea smiled as she walked beside the ghoul, her hair floated behind her.

Bea began to scratch the barnacle on her arm, "what's going on?" she whispered to the ghoul, looking at the two professors ahead of them.
