Camelot, when she looked at him, was in the middle of nodding and looking as tough as possible. He glanced sideways, saw her looking at him, flushed with embarrassment then hurried to open the door as quickly as possible. It seemed for a moment he had forgotten how they worked, fumbling just to push the door open.
He managed it, though, and tried not to look too triumphant about it as he held it for Polaris.
As she passed, he shot one more tough guy look back at the captured criminals, just in case they had seen him acting like a fool and thought he was a push over. He could still catch them again if they tried anything, and he was still a super powerful man dressed in damn armor.
Thoroughly embarrassed, Camelot followed the Senshi of Magnetism out, looking at her once the door was closed behind them. He smiled feebly, his face red.
"Well, that was certainly fun."

For a brief moment she was afraid he might not catch her drift, but just as she was about to open her mouth again, he opened the door. And quickly she hurried through, flashing a thankful smile.
The sirens were getting louder and closer at a steady pace, and so she didn't wait for long, carefully placing the couple of knives and one gun she had collected on the sidewalk right outside and to the left of the doorway.
His look of.. embarassment was it? It was adorable. Perhaps not what she expected from someone that was older, but it was charmingly adorable nonetheless. And as he commented in what she assumed was relief (because certainly that's what she was feeling) she grinned a little more, offering a hand out briefly.
"You could call it that I guess. Thanks so much for your help, I really couldn't have done it without you."
They couldn't linger for long without being caught, but he certainly deserved the introduction that she realized she'd forgotten earlier. "Sailor Polaris."

Camelot really didn't want to get arrested. The questions and looks he would get in his armor would be bad enough, but he could only imagine the questions the cops would have for him as a 'terrorist'. Were knights considered the same thing? He wasnt sure, but he didn't want to find out either way. The cops were unlikely to just offer them thanks for a job well done.
They were among the less kind and understanding people out there.
"You're very welcome. I think it's a very good thing you're doing, making sure the civilians aren't hurting each other, on top of everything else they need to contend with. I don't think too many people give thought to that kind of thing. I mean, people like us. Ah. Well. In any case, that was a new thrill." He laughed.
Usually, when he was feeling self conscious or pent up, he did the opposite of fighting crime: he caused it. In his past, he had been quite the ruffian, and robbing places had been among his hobbies. He had hurt many people, he was sure. And even as recently as a few months ago, maybe longer, he couldn't really remember, he had robbed a place just to see if he still could. Just to remind himself he was vital, alive.
He didn't have to do that now, of course: he had life or death encounters near every day.
"Camelot, of Earth," he said, not sure if he had offered his name before and feeling bad about it. "I hope we meet up for something like this again. If you ever need my help, I'd be more than willing to offer it." He smiled brightly, bowing his head chivalrously.

She'd expected a simple introduction and goodbye as they hurriedly scurried away to safety. What she'd not expected, even remotely, was a stream of sweet words.
They had succeeded without any large injury to themselves or the others. Success. They had actually been thanked by one of the girls inside. Bonus. And now here he was... an older.. certainly competent and intelligent gentlemen.. saying such nice things about her? If her skin tone weren't so dark he would have seen the blood rushing fiercely to her cheeks. It must have been her lucky day.
"I try my very best to help however I can." It was all she was able to peep in the end.
The sirens were barely around the corner, and she started to move away, not before she lifted her hand once more in a goodbye wave, calling out.
"Thank you Camelot! I'm sure we'll meet again someday."

Camelot was certainly oblivious to the fact that she might be embarrassed by his compliments, though he tended not to think about things in that way. He often forgot he was a reasonably good looking man, maybe because he was older than most of the senshi and knights he met and it failed to register each time that they might find him attractive.
Though, sometimes, it was just embarrassing to get the compliment itself, which he tried to be more aware of but he also liked to be supportive and encouraging.
He waved and nodded, grinning.
"Surely!"
After that, though, he saw the police rounding the corner and darted away, running as fast as he could and grabbing on to a fire escape and fleeing to the rooftops for a proper escape. He could get out of there quicker, and without being caught. He headed home after that, imagining Dogby would need to be let out.
