Pausing by the concession stand, Shun glanced at the selection they had.
"No, I got it. Just let me know what you want," he nodded. At least they had the drinks right there so he could go by the label. There were the usual fountain drinks, but they also had some slime-ee's of varying flavors. He just figured he'd go with a normal drink, but he was still deciding.
"What are you going to get?"

"Okay." Standing beside Shun, Mitsu leaned up as far as she could to look at the pictures on the back of the soda machine. "Hmmm.." She murmured thoughtfully.
"Ooo they have slime-ee's. Can I have a booberry one?" She looked up at Shun almost expectantly, a bit of a wag to her tail. It had a long time since she had one it was like a treat in a way.

Seeing the little wag of her tail, Shun's eyes softened before nodding quietly. He went ahead and ordered a boobery slime-ee as well as a spite for himself. Thankful that the cashier had said the price outloud, he went ahead and pulled out his wallet to hand over the needed seeds.
Within a few moments, they had their drinks.
Glancing around, he frowned lightly at the signs showing where the theaters were.
"...Can you check to see which theater we need to go to?" he asked while handing her the tickets again. Knowing him, he'd end up taking them to the wrong one.

Excited about her slime-ee Mitsu watched the man behind the counter intently as he made it for her until the drink was finally in her hands. It was much easier to slip the straw to her mouth with this mask, and she took her first sip, a slight smile visible where the mask didn't cover. Happy and content she was.
"Oh sure," Taking the tickets again Mitsu glanced at the theater number. Irony had no bounds. "It's in theater thirteen." She said turning in that direction. It was still pretty crowded so once again Mitsu reached for Shun's sleeve except this time it wasn't his sleeve she took a hold of, it was his hand. There was only a slight pause when she realized her mistake wondering if she should let go and grab his sleeve like she had intended. Why did it make her feel the need to blush just holding his hand like this?
Trying not to think about it Mitsu moved on her hand holding Shun's, handing their ticket stubs to the student standing in the entry way to the theaters. Once they were passed him it was on to theater thirteen and wading through the crowd to take a seat. "Where do you want to sit?"

Even if it was slight, there was still something about that smile that struck Shun. It was really nice to see it.
Shifting the guitar over his shoulder to make sure it was set, he took his drink and nodded as she mentioned which theater it was. He probably should have known, but knowing the number didn't really help him pinpoint which of the rooms was that number.
Just as he was about to follow her in the right direction, he paused as he felt her hand take his. He glanced down at it, not sure how to feel about this. With some sense of hesitation, his hand slowly closed around hers before he walked on towards the guy taking the tickets. The Reaper just tried not to think about the hands thing as it was only adding to his confusion.
"Towards the back should be good," he said quietly while looking up to find a clear section for them to sit. The place was crowded, which was a little irritating. But at least the crowd shouldn't be too noisy. Though... there were a number of scarelings around.
Sigh. Dammit Lizzy.

Feeling Shun's fingers close around her hand made Mitsu's heart skip a beat before it began to flutter in her chest. The bit of her face that was actually expose was flushed pink. It wasn't like she had never held hands before, but just never his hand.
"Okay," Toward the back it was then. Mitsu ascended the steps stopping only a couple of rows down from the top. The amount of scarlings didn't seem to really catch her attention. Mostly she was still too distracted by the hand holding to notice much else.
Taking a seat near the middle Mitsu finally released Shun's hand in favor of holding her drink with both hands. It...wasn't like they needed to hold hands through the movie though it was somewhat disappointing to let go.

Still not thinking about the hand holding thing all too much, Shun seated himself and set his drink down in the little cup holder after taking a sip from it. Soon after they had gotten settled, the lights dimmed and the previews began to play. There were some interesting things coming soon to theaters.
For example, there were How to Train your Human and I know what you did last Autumn.
Neither really struck his interest all that much, but there were probably those who did.
Then as the movie began, he glanced over at Mitsu briefly, then took in a breath. He wasn't planning on focusing on the film too much. There were other things he needed to think about.

Mitsu sat quietly waiting for the movie to start. It wasn't long before the lights went down and the previews started. The movies that were coming out soon looked interesting, maybe Shun would take her to see another movie? She cast a small glance in his direction, but of course her questioning expression was masked.
When the movie actually started Mitsu diverted her full attention to the screen, her ears perked with interest as the tale began to unfold. Thinking could wait until later.
Mitsu was easily sucked into the movie not long after it started. Watching Jason's brave quest into the human world to strike FEAR into the hearts of humans to save Halloween was just the kind of movie Mitsu enjoyed. A good hero's tale.
The tension was starting to grow though. The movie was suddenly intense, danger was lurking around every corner for their hero. Mitsu's grasp on her slime-ee cup tightened as she continued to watch and sudden there was a human! There was a gasp from many, some of the smaller scarlings letting out small shrieks. Mitsu jumped, her slime-ee slipping from her grasp and gracefully landing on the head of the boy in front of her. Blue was everywhere and suddenly Mitsu was frozen in horror, not so much because of the movie but because of what had just happened.
"I..I'm sorry," She whispered, reaching out a nervous hand to grab hold of Shun's arm.
Slowly the boil turned, a rather large and broad student who seemed to resemble a troll or oni. His eyes narrowed in on the lupine before he brought up a hand to wipe away the slime-ee before it ran into his eyes.

Unlike Mitsu, Shun wasn't paying a great deal of attention to the movie. He had an idea of what was going on, but he really wasn't too engrossed by it. There were more important things swimming about his head. When she took his hand earlier, it had sparked up that strange, warm sensation in his chest. He had trouble understanding how a simple gesture was capable of doing that.
Before he could delve too far into his thoughts, the shrieks of scarelings around had snapped him out of them. That aside, it seemed that Mitsu had managed to... drop her drink onto someone's head.
Oh Jack.
Shifting his attention to the large boy, he grimaced while staring him down, as if trying to challenge him into starting something up. The girl had apologized and there wasn't much of a point in disrupting the movie any further.

The troll barely spared a glance in Shun's direction before he turned back around settling back in to watch the movie. If he was going to bring something up apparently he was going to do it later. Also it seemed he was content to sit the rest of the movie soaked in slime-ee. How odd.
Mitsu shifted a bit now a little uncomfortable and nervous. She tried to refocus on the movie once it seemed like nothing was going to happen but she couldn't help but glance down at the troll in front of them from time to time. Her grip still remained on Shun's sleeve, however. A nervous grasp that refused to let go.

Narrowing his eyes at the troll, Shun continued to stare at him a little longer. He was going to keep his eyes on that one. With a sort of grimace, he eventually relaxed, glancing to the hand gripping onto his sleeve. It seemed that little incident rattled the poor girl.
That wouldn't do. He wanted her to at least enjoy this night if nothing else.
Letting out a sigh, he brought his other hand up to place over hers to try and settle her down. The Reaper didn't say anything, but he watched her carefully to see if she would relax at all.

Mitsu's focus was divided between the movie and the boy in front of them. It also seemed her nervous demeanor had not gone unnoticed. Feeling the hand suddenly on top of her own Mitsu turned to look at said hand but looking up toward Shun almost curiously. Again she could feel her heart starting to flutter in her chest and at the moment the boy she had dumped her slime-ee on was the furthest from her mind.
Soon Mitsu started to relax, the grip on Shun's sleeve not as tight as the lupine turned back toward the movie. Her attention really wasn't on the film now though. It was more focused on the warm hand holding her own.

It seemed to work, seeing how he noticed that her grip on his sleeve had loosened up. With Mitsu relaxing, his eyes went back to the screen and he hesitated briefly. A part of Shun actually didn't want to move his hand away yet. There was something there that he had some trouble putting his finger on. It was another thing for him to think about.
Getting lost in his thoughts again, he kind of didn't really pay any attention to the film any longer. And before he knew it, the credits were rolling and the lights had turned back up. Glancing around, he saw people began to chatter happily and move about.
He also just realized he hadn't moved his hand at all there. Pausing at that, he shook his head and finally moved it away before running his hand through his hair.
"Did.. you enjoy that?" he asked quietly while getting up from his seat and picking up his guitar case.

Mitsu remained fairly calm throughout the rest of the movie. It was comforting feeling Shun's hand over top of hers and he actually left it there! Mitsu had half expected Shun to pull away once she had initially calmed but at the end of the movie his hand was still in place.
As the lights finally came back on and Shun pulled his hand away Mitsu stood from her seat as the rest of the crowd started to file out of the theater. The troll she had dumped drink all over didn't even cast another look in her direction. Maybe he wasn't mad after all?
"Yes, I liked the movie," Mitsu confirmed with a nod. At least from what she had been able to focus on. "Should we head to the restaurant next?"

Seeing the troll wander off, Shun just turned his attention towards Mitsu and nodded. At least the girl had enjoyed the movie, so perhaps Lizzy didn't make too bad of a choice of film.
"Yeah. It's not too far from the theater so it won't take too long to reach there," he said quietly before moving away from the seats so they could leave the theater. He took a few last sips of his drinks, then dumped it into the nearest trash can.
Once outside, he paused and looked around, taking the moment to recall which direction he needed to go.
