Even though Subito was well aware that the badger had known Amelie for much longer than he had, he still held on to the other hare in a tight – almost protective – embrace when he appeared. Still breathing rapidly, he tried to make sense of Arbi’s words. The Sight? What was he talking about? Did this happen a lot? What if it happened when she was alone and there was no one around to take care of her?
“There’s really nothing we can do?” he asked quietly after a few moments, a heavy frown casting shadows over his bright green eyes. “Should we… should I… take her inside?” He still didn’t know what to think of all this but now, more than ever, Subito knew he couldn’t leave Amelie. It didn't matter how many bigger friends she had. Subito wouldn't forgive himself if something were to happen to her.

"Shall I tell you a secret.." He spoke wisely, as he watched the male clench on to their friend- in no way would he think he would let something happen to her. "It is better you not tell the others." Shaking his head to answer the priorly asked question 'no nothing'. "When we take her inside... it is best that.. I shall ask you in the kindliest way and if for one moment you betray our trust.. you know what will happen." Eyeing him. "They think I don't know, but our wilddogs are going traveling tomorrow to see their family.. It is best that she go easy for the next couple of days, It hasn't gotten this bad in some time. Maybe someone of her species can help her ease it down a bit. If you are up to the task.. of pulling down a rather rambunctious creature such as our 'mother'." Addressing her as such.. Slowly walking over to him and lowering himself low to the ground.
"If you can get on my back- I can take you both there. So it doesn't strain yea. Oh and- don't think you can get away with anything neither." He huffed- over protective and intimidating anyone's date~!. Trolling up on his family's lovers! Especially with Amelie... she was special to them all.
