Opal did a nudge with her head. "That way is our lands. I should be able to get home by sunset. Now you I don't know about. And what is this about a tree?" She eyed him curiously.

Opal's eye twitched. "How the hell did you end up all the way down here?" She shook her head. "Doesn't matter lets get home then." So this was the last brother they have been waiting on? She thought to herself. "I'm Opal and I'm your ummm sister to say. Ion is my mate. He's proble worried by now so I need to get home."

Hellfyre was a little stunned. "Your Ion's mate? Ion has a mate?" his jaw had dropped in a most unflattering way as he looked at the white mare. "Well if that ain't the mother of all coincidences. What are you doing down here?"

Opal raised an eyebrow. "Is that so hard to believe that Ion has a mate or something? Cause right now you are looking pretty dumb." She was irritated as it was. She wanted to get home. Her knees were aching and she was tired and hungry. "And I was going for a walk and ran into a battle between our side and the Six. I was told to run so run I did. But didn't realize what direction I went. I woke up this morning to realize I was down in this territory. So if you don't mind can we get moving? I want to go home." She climbed down then headed North. If she could just get to the lake she knew where home was from there.

Hellfyre climbed down after her and said. " Its just that when Ion left mother and father, he was very young and its hard to imagine him mated now and with such a pretty mare. Does Dark Tide have a mate too?"

Opal was slow moving. She blushed a bit at being called pretty. "I had my choice between the two of them. But I picked Ion. And Tide has a girlfriend so I hear. Also um be expected to be called uncle. Ion and Tide found a lost foal. So Ion and I adopted him as our son. His name is Enthallion. We call him Thali for short." She gave him a warm smile. At least she was being nicer now. "Sorry that I'm slow moving. I got injured a few months back and I'm not at top speed yet. It hurts to run yet so can only run in short distances."

"Thali. Now is not the time to mope." Tashi said with emotion in her voice, "I don't know the way to the lake, you're going to have to lead. Come on." She said the last part gently, but not with urgency.

"Your right Tao," Thali brushed up against her and gave her a nudge. Then he took the lead and headed toward the lake. There was a spring in his step now. Tao had put it there.

"So how far is this lake?" Tashi asked as they moved at a brisk pace. There was no point in tiring themselves out so early. They moved quickly, without hessitating. Thali lead them unerringly to the lake. "Ok, do you want to each search a side? Or go around it together so that we don't miss anything?" She asked him.

Opal sighed. "Well if I could run it would only be a few hours. But since I can't run it will take most of the day." She slowly walked along. "Sorry you are stuck with a mare who can't run."

"That is alright it is just nice to know I am headed in the right direction for once as it has taken a week for me to get this far after all the wrong turns." Hellfyre said. he liked Opal much more when she had calmed down some.

Opal gave a heavy sigh as she walked. "I just would love to get home at this point. Then at least I would be safe." She twitched her tail a bit.
