Paprika eyes turned around towards the girl, knowledge clouding them as she understood what the girl was asking. Looking down at her own arm, fractured around the Radius or Ulna region, she hissed out and tried to hide her own pain as she pushed herself to her feet using her one good arm. Getting to her feet was easier said than done, but after some coaxing she finally made it. Grasping her bag, she carried it towards Raven, a slow but steady pace she made as she gained ground towards the younger female.. "I know how, can you stand up?" It would make it much easier. It would be interesting putting the girls arm back in its socket with only one good hand. A second call came somewhere, Anders seemed to need help. Focusing in, she winced as she saw the boy covered in blood. How had she missed that before? Fishing around in her bag,, she pulled out one of her limited supply of Gauze pads she kept with her. Looking at the box, she flung it in Anders direction. "Use these until i can come over." Turning back towards Raven, she extended a arm out in attempt to help the girl up.

Sheila closed her eyes and tightened her grip on her broken arm as the whale inhaled again, pulling her and everyone else onto the rainbow road. She didn’t notice when the stars wheeled around her as the whale exhaled, sending her and several others tumbling through space.
She was one of the lucky ones. Her tumbling form rolled on the ground, the force of impact diffusing until she came to a stop miraculously on her knees. Sheila remained hunched over, biting her lip as she waited for the pain to subside in her broken arm.
It didn’t.
The realization that it wasn’t ending soon forced Sheila to her feet to look around. Her eyes barely registered the beautiful place they landed in. Sheila’s attention was centered on the people who landed around her, brows furrowing. Their words were nothing but a dull murmur: she was still deaf from the whale’s sonic blast earlier.
Sheila bit her lip and slowly approached Lynn, trying to hold her left arm as still as she could. “Excuse me. Can you help me?” Sheila gestured to her left arm, where her forearm was twisted at an odd angle. Angry scratches decorated it, courtesy of the monsterous bat that broke it earlier. “I-If it’s no trouble, can you please help me miss? It hurts.”

As more and more of the civilians landed, Leo's stomach began to sink as he saw the extent of their injuries. Many of them looked far more than worse for wear, though that was to be expected; Zodiac Soldiers had been expected to fight chaos monsters in the past, and it was no easy task even for them at times. For mere civilians to be thrust into this situation for reasons he didn't even know -- he still hadn't gotten to speak to Chronos or Virgo -- they were frankly lucky they were still alive.
He wondered, briefly, if they all were still alive. There had been so much panic and chaos that he hadn't been able to attempt a headcount even if he'd wanted to, but it would honestly surprise him if there weren't any casualties. The knowledge of this churned his gut, but it also inspired him in a fierce protectiveness for the ragtag group in front of him. He might not have known why they were there, and he didn't know exactly how he was going to take care of them, but they were his responsibility. Some force had kept them all together, and he would do his best to keep them in one piece until he could get them home.
"Everyone!" Leo was always a little bolder, a little brighter than Grayson, but in this instance, there was command in his tone. Perhaps it was the mask that hid his face, or his stiff back and straight shoulders; maybe it was the fact that he was still relatively uninjured. Regardless, his voice was easily heard over the small group of people. "My name is Leo, and I am a Zodiac Soldier. I need you to separate yourselves according to injury."
He held up one hand, open palmed, to his left. "If you are not seriously injured, please walk to your right and form a group. I am going to begin to take you home, but I have to take the most injured first. Those people whose injuries are not dire, collect here."
He lifted his right hand, closing the palm of the first. "If you hurt too much to move, stay where you are." For emphasis, he pressed his hand forward, fingers tipping down a bit. "Everyone will be taken home. Be orderly."
((note: if you haven't introduced your character to the thread at this point, you are still very welcome to do a mini-backdate post to have them land, but it is assumed right now that all civilians have landed. This is so that Leo can address the group as a whole!))

"IAN!" Fritz said, too loudly, clapping the young man on the shoulder with one bruised hand. "Glad to see you're still alive and kicking. Well. Sort of."
He looked down at his own slime covered socks and grimaced. Looking back at it, throwing his shoes at the massive whale had probably not been the best idea there ever was. If he had to walk on something other than solid ground...well, he didn't want to think of that.
Turning around, his head still throbbing, Fritz made his way unsteadily towards the rest of the people who had been dragged to this destination, most of them guys and girls that he didn't know. There was a masked guy that looked as if he were one of the senshi people, and then Ian, an older woman who seemed to be some sort of nurse, someone calling out for someone named "Hawke," whoever that was...
And then there was that girl, the one who he had pulled out of the pit earlier. What had the other woman called her? Sheila? She looked positively petrified, her face a mask of pain as she too stumbled towards the nurse.
A few feet away from him a young woman sat on the ground, looking forlorn and upset, her hands covering her face. Fritz knelt down beside her and held out his hand.
"Here," he said gently. "Let me help you up."
The senshi was talking now, and Fritz glanced towards him, biting his lower lip. To leave the young woman would seem rude, but he did agree with the masked guy that they needed to do things calmly and move where he indicated. With a small sigh, he patted the young woman's arm reassuringly.
"That woman over there's a nurse," he said, indicating Lynn. "She can probably wrap you up a little."
Then he stepped back, moving towards the right and feeling his head spin uncomfortably. Fritz pressed his fingers against his temples, willing the headache to disappear, though he knew it probably wouldn't.

Anders did an embarrassingly graceless grab for the box with the gauze tape. He very well couldn't catch it, but he would happily scoot his a** over to is so he could start trying to stem some of the bleeding on his chest. Clumsily he pressed the fabric to his chest, dabbing at the clear gash wounds. It didn't look too bad, but that was only because his outfit was black, and blood was hard to spot against the dark color. It would have reassured him if he couldn't see the stains on his skin. He'd gotten scraped and bruised, cut and stabbed before, but nothing had ever compared to this extent of injuries.
Anders had no idea of when and how he got so unlucky, but it happened. "What about Hawke?" he asked the even more oddly dressed, but definitely more knowledgeable senshi space-fade-spirit thing... person. "What about everyone else?" Anders looked around to the people gathered about, and decided in that moment that he was just going to stay put. It would be difficult enough to rise onto his feet without his left arm to help him balance and push himself up. So, he was just going to sit there, dab at his wounds a little more, and hope that Leo was going to let them search around for everyone else.
"There were a lot of people, we can't just leave them behind." Oddly, he was not questioning how Leo had the ability to get everyone home. He was just trusting the other man on this one. Perhaps it did not strike him as odd, a lot of mages could teleport! Anders just was out of mana right now.

Bela smiled at Raven's help before looking to the Nurse. It was kind of not hard to notice that the Nurse's arm might be hurt. "Thank you Raven." She said with a small pondering thought, and looked at the woman behind the girl "So I guess you're the nurse?"
Bela had taken a second to hold part of the fabric, the cleanest part of it; in her teeth and pulled the fabric tight around her arm so she could put pressure on the gash in her arm. "Are you sure standing up is the best way to put a shoulder back in place?" She asked Lynn curiously.
Bela had seen a dislocated shoulder before, the paramedics had made the guy sit down in case he passed out. Granted Bela looked around, it didn't seem there was that many good places to sit down around here. "I uh... can try to help if you need it?" She offered as well. "Or if not with this one I can try to help someone else."
There was another pause when Leo spoke, she frowned when he said to moved to one side. Of course she wasn't hurt but there was some things she could help with, tying off bandages or whatever. Despite her wrist being hurt to an unknown extent. She scooted her butt towards where Leo had said but stayed close enough in case the Nurse said she needed help with relocating that shoulder.

While others were reacting to pain, or helping others in pain, Menthe had remained seated and freaking out, her glasses speckled with droplets of saline tears. A voice suddenly near her, caused her shoulders to jump, looking up at the source like some poor mouse caught in a trap. He (Fritz) was fairly young.. not quite so intimidating as he could have been. His gentle voice was even a bit of a relief, and his pat on the arm. "Oh..."
Leo's commanding statement sounded and her attention shifted from Fritz to Leo, her watery yellow eyes staring at the strangely brillant man for a brief moment.
She was barely injured at all.. a slight gash on her arm.. a vaguely sore shin. And she was always happy to follow an order. Pushing herself up from the ground, she carefully brushed at her skirt, before shuffling over to the place that had been suggested.
Now that she was up she could see the actual severity of the injuries all around, and her eyes sank to the beautifully decorated ground. But not before getting close enough to the kind young stranger to offer a few very soft words. "Thank you..."

Floating was cool, she felt like a fairy even in the very odd situation she was in, but being flung wasn't as cool, even if she secretly thought it was sort of fun. Landing, now that had been painful and she managed to gash her calf and she wasn't even sure how she had managed to do that. She also had the wind knocked out of her so before she could stand she was gasping for breath for a good moment or two.
She stood, feeling not so great, and looked around at the other's. It was odd to see the group so small, when it had been rather large at first. She still had her belt in hand and while everyone checked themselves and each other over she put it back on so she could hold up her short. It was difficult with her sprained wrist, but she managed after a few minutes.
Then the guy with the mask called everyone to attention and told them to separate based on injury. Eliza looked herself over. Her wrist was throbbing, she had a gash on her shoulder and a larger one on her calf, but elsewise she wasn't to bad off, so she moved toward Menthe.
"This might sound crazy, but I think I'd rather know what is happening before I go home," she whispered to the girl, "especially since it seems he can't take us all at once."

The woman from before had not hurt herself quite as badly as Fritz had thought at first; she stood up quite soon after he had moved away, stepping with quiet steps in the same direction he had gone. Fritz's eyes moved across the rest of the throng of people - some were still on the ground, barely holding in their moans of pain, their arms or legs bent at awkward and unnatural angles. Blood was streaked across the face of one girl, and there were bruises on all of them, dark, purplish marks on Fritz's upper arms and, he thought he felt, a few on his legs as well, though he could not see them through his jeans.
He was so preoccupied with his own thoughts that he barely heard the young woman's quiet, barely audible words beside him, and when he did, he started slightly, dragging himself out of the recesses of his mind to smile down at her.
"You're welcome," Fritz replied, slightly too loudly. The weird ringing, garbled feeling in his left ear had dissipated only the tiniest bit; he could still scarcely hear out of it. And his head was still pounding as well; a relentless beating against his skull.
Another young woman had arrived; this one was holding her wrist, a rip in her shirt showing a somewhat nasty looking cut across her shirt. Fritz gave her a smile in greeting, glancing down at the tear in his own shirt with a feeling of apprehension.
"I'm Fritz, by the way," he said, in a somewhat late introduction to both of the women. "Not a very good situation any of us are in, is it? I would have much preferred the beach, but no, Mother said I needed to learn a bit of culture..."
The light, teasing tone to his voice was tinged with a faint wariness, however, and Fritz pushed back his sweat dampened hair, rubbing his forehead absently.

Eliza looked up to Fritz with her wild hair and bright eyes and couldn't help, but to smirk. "I'm Eliza," she started smiling despite being in pain. Quite a bit of pain. "It is a very odd situation, but I think that when you mother said culture she didn't mean shiny princely men and fighting space whale and space bats."
She looked up at the twinkling sky, "still it make for an amazing adventure and an amazing story to tell, since no one will ever believe you."
She looked serious for a moment, "I still want to know what is going on. I mean like we have to be here for a reason even if were are not suppose to be. How did we get here and who is to say after he takes us back that we won't simply just end up here again in a few hours or something?"
Eliza believed in magic and she loved that this was all very magical. The most amazing adventure she would probably ever embark on, she didn't really want to go home. She wanted to finish the story, she wanted to know why she was their. Beside going home meant going back to crystal and she did not really want that. No space whales was better than being a peasant girl among princesses. Princesses simply did not know how to let loose and have fun.Off to bed now too <3

"I'm pretty sure I heard a pop from my shoulder." He replied Lynn with a grimace, holding said injury with his other hand as he struggled to sit up, at least. "Probably dislocated it or something." Oh great, now his typing speed was going to be significantly slower. He didn't demand her to look at her, however, since he was more preoccupied with the Zodiac, with a mask that obscured his features, curiously enough. He was alive, and all that mattered. He cared for nothing except his big scoop.
"Excuse me!" Jarold Rivera said loudly, reporter instincts kicking in as he managed to get to his feet, raising his hand for a quick moment before clasping it over his hurt shoulder again. "Where exactly are we? If you said that you didn't know how we got here, how are you going to bring us back? How did you get here? Do you guys live here, or in Destiny City?" Gray eyes narrowed in Leo's direction. He wasn't about to leave without answers, injury or not.

"Menthe Syliva" She offered dutifully to Fritz and Eliza's twin introductions.
Menthe was not that sort of person really made for adventure. She was far too nervous and timid, far too much of a worrywart, and lacking in the assertiveness necessary for such grand adventures. Unlike Eliza, Menthe had no desire to know why, even though the idea that they might just be whisked back was awfully frightening! She just wanted to be home or even at work! Sitting and answering phones, working on nice and calm crossword puzzles, or indulging in night at a nice resteraunt. Calm things.. quiet things.. SAFE things.
Nonetheless, she too had resigned herself to the fact that she might be staying for awhile. Other people were hurt more than she was, and as the shiny masked man in charge had said, it was more important they be dealt with first. In fact, she might end up being the very last person unless someone chivalrous stood up. It wasn't in her to fight for her place in line, always everyone else first. It was the way she'd grown up and for the most part she didn't mind.
All of the loose bits of mint colored hair from her bun were beginning to bother her, hands continually lifting to try and brush them back behind her ears.
Even with the niceness of the pair, she was still fairly uncomfortable, wishing she had someplace to sink back into. Wondering if they thought she was very weird for not saying something at all. But what would she say? Her mind searched for something, before offering softly a random snippet from some survival guide she'd once read. "If we have to stay for too long then we will have to find some supplies to sustain ourselves. Things to make fire and shelter, a fresh water source, food to gather."
She looked around softly, dissapointment crossing her face when she saw... nothing at all useful or like she'd read about. No bushes or trees... no clouds or cactuses... and unless they wanted to eat space whale...
Her eyes were beginning to water again at the edges, softly sniffling. "Always remain calm."
((I figured it was a small enough thread quotes weren't necessary, but if you'd really like one just let me know and I'll start doing it!! :3 And of course anyone feel absolutlely free to pm me or whatever))

As the civilians began to organize themselves, Leo began to make a mental map in his head. He was categorizing them on levels of physical distress as well as emotional; while he didn't have the facilities to care for cuts and broken limbs, he really didn't have the training to handle the sort of deep trauma that a shock like being flung into space and almost eaten by a whale monster could inspire. His goal was to get them home as soon as he could, even if that meant he exhausted himself in the process. Traveling to and from the Surrounding was not exactly a tireless endeavor, but given the small amount of Zodiacs he had been able to glimpse during the battle, there was nothing to do about it. He couldn't just leave them here. His Outpost was in no shape for long-term visitation, but if transporting them proved to be too much for him in one day, he might have to make accommodations there. When they were mostly sorted, one of the civilians spoke up. Leo turned his head so that his mask was centered on Jarold, his figure still and unmoving while he asked his questions. It was natural to be confused and worried, and that was what kept Leo from snapping at him -- had he been confused and unaware of magic, he would have been freaking out more than a little himself. Still, he was mildly annoyed to have to answer questions before he took care of the more direly injured. "I have yet to speak to you of why you're here," He said, his voice calm and authoritative. "And I will not until I've taken care of the most grievously injured. I understand that you're confused and frightened, and I'm sorry. Right now, I can't assure you about anything except the fact that I will do my utmost to take care of you and get you all home, and my comrades are taking care of all of the other civilians in the same stead. When we have taken care of the most injured, you may ask me more questions, and I will be happy to answer them to the best of my ability." He turned to Anders, striding over and kneeling by the young man. Though Leo couldn't know whether the civilians had landed with Zodiacs or not, he had to hope; hope, and once he got the most injured out of the Surrounding, he would run along the path and see if there were any stragglers between the outposts. He touched Anders' shoulder, lightly, and bent to say, "Can you lean on me and stand?" Emotional and physical distress, check -- this would be his first trip home.

"A pleasure to meet you, Eliza, though I wish it had been under different circumstances. You as well, Menthe."
The smirk Eliza gave him made Fritz smile; at least there was someone here that could take his admittedly weird sense of humor and run with it. "No, I'm quite sure she didn't," he replied, reaching a hand up to shove a hand through his tangled mess of reddish brown hair. "Although my brother Tolliver is much more suited to fighting space whales and space bats than I am."
He wondered whether or not Ollie was wondering where he was; or, if he had, what he was doing to figure out where his brother had disappeared too. Fritz himself had a way of wandering off in search of more material for his writing, and his absent minded head tended to lead him places where Tolliver was always dragging him out of exasperatedly. But this time he had not intended to disappear; had not purposefully strode into...space.
With a giant whale.
And a princely looking person.
And flying space bats.
He turned back to Eliza.
"I want answers too," he said, scratching his forehead. "I mean...we've all been sent here, we've got no clue how or why or even where exactly we are, and they're just going to take us home without explaining anything? I mean," he corrected himself. "I know that one senshi...person...zodiac, whoever she was - the one at the beginning, she said even she wasn't sure how we'd gotten here and why, so maybe he doesn't either..."
Fritz trailed off, back to musing silently to himself. However, Menthe's tear-filled eyes didn't escape his gaze, and he reached out a hand, gently patting her shoulder without saying anything.
"So," he said brightly, dropping his hand and clapping them together as he resumed his normal cheeky self. "Shall we make ourselves comfortable while we're waiting? I do believe I'd like to have a blanket, perhaps some pillows, a king sized bed, some Snickers..."

Anders wasn't entirely pleased with the game plan, but he had to put faith in the fact that all the other people like Leo would find the rest of the civilians and take of them. He'd prefer to be able to find Hawke himself, and the realization that he couldn't hurt more than anything else. There was a continuous pain resonating through his arm, and it was difficult to fight off an expression of discomfort from his face. He wasn't sure he'd be able to find Hawke, and the last thing that he needed to do was go wandering off and getting himself more injured. It was the logical thing to do - follow Leo's instructions.
But, that didn't mean it felt right. It felt very wrong to just go home, especially when it meant leaving his friend behind. He was Anders, wanted apostate and ex-Grey Warden, and he was running away from the situation. The guilt, in the end, would probably prove more difficult for him to handle than the pain he was in. His decision to leave was one that was already starting to plague him. Perhaps he could have pretended to be uninjured? His gaze cast down to observe himself, and grimly he noted that he probably would not have hidden his distress very well, if at all.
"Yeah, I should be able to," he answered Leo. The dead weight of his arm was detrimental to his balance, but not so much that he couldn't walk around. It would just be discomforting, since his arm would swing about with each movement he made, in ways it probably should not swing. The thought alone was going to make him nauseous, so he put it out of his mind. He placed his hand on Leo's shoulder, and after a small effort he was able to push himself up onto his feet.
Yes, he definitely didn't feel good, and he was sure the feeling wasn't only caused by his injuries. "Hawke..." He had likely failed her, no, definitely failed her. Hawke's mage couldn't even heal himself.
