Rainbow looked toward the way the young male had pointed..
"Aagh..Your home is over there? ... Well.. where I came from. I don't have a home, I just roam the island. Are there more of us?. Sure thing. Many. Some are dangerous, so you best to be careful. But, I'm not those dangerous types, so you're all good. I'm sure we could find more Voronwe's.
Rainbow smiled as the young male licked his fur. Rainbow swished his paws in the water. It was cold.
"Aagh.. Also , My name is rainbow. How about yours?"

 Buzz looked up as the male told him his name. 'Rainbow'? He almost laughed again. That was exactly what he had thought of when he saw him standing there. So many questions came to his mind after everything Rainbow had said.
"What's a voronwe? Is that what we are called? And why don't you have wings? Me and Pastel have wings. Oh, and I'm called Buzz. I don't know why. Me and Pastel are orphans. We just got adopted by a two legger. She has a really nice home, and she gave us really tasty meat to eat."
There, he thought he had gotten all of his questions asked.

The young male made a funny face as rainbow said his name. He was used to that. Being called Rainbow with rainbow like features was really bad.
"A Voronwe..is what we are called yes. There are many others. There is also another kind of specie here, their called Lagos. I find them bunnylike. I am a male..and normally males do not have wings...but...you..are a interesting one. Buzz huh? Nice to meet you. Pastel? Who is that? If you don't mind me asking. A human? I haven't seen one in ages. I tend to hide from em. I'm glad you enjoy her company and home."
Rainbow smiled. Geez, was that alot to say. Rainbow hadn't really socialized with anyone in awhile now.

Buzz thought about what Rainbow had said before he answered. Should he tell this stranger more about Pastel and the female that had adopted them? He had never been in this sort of situation before, and he was at a loss as to how to handle himself. He made the decision to give as little information as possible as he said, "Pastel is my sister." It wasn't exactly true, but since they were both orphans, and they had been adopted by the same female, he thought it wasn't too much of a lie. "Human? What's that?" Again, Rainbow had used a word he was not familiar with.

"Aggh, your sister has a pretty name. Human..." Rainbow thought for a bit.
"Humans are what we call , what you call those "two leggers" if that didn't confuse you too much. But calling em whatever is fine, But human is just the correct name. "
Yes that sounded right. Rainbow stood on his four paws and looked around. I wonder if there are any other Voronwe or Lago out here.. he thought to himself.

Buzz thought about that, and it made sense to him. "Okay, so the female is a human. It was humans that took us to the place where we lived when our parents died. They were nice, I guess. I don't know this new human well enough yet to know if we'll get along or not."
He got up and stretched, then went back down to the stream for a drink of the cold water. It had a strange taste to it, from what he was used to, but it was good. He wasn't sure what Rainbow was going to do, but he wanted to explore the woods some more. Sitting here talking with the grown male was interesting, but it was definitely not his idea of fun.
"It was nice talking to you, but I'm on an adventure, and I have to get going. Maybe I'll see you again the next time I come into the woods. Have a nice day", and with that he turned and started to walk off parallel to the stream.

Geez..did that little younglin' move fast. Rainbow shouted "Well , do you mind if I come along? I'm looking for someone! " before Buzz could get too far away not to hear him. The forest was an interesting place. You never knew what you could encounter or find. Surely it would be fun.

Buzz stopped in his tracks. He wanted to come along with him? Buzz wasn't entirely sure he wanted company on this outing, but he didn't know how to tell the older male. So instead, he decided to let him follow along, at least for now.
"Yeah, sure. You can come along. I can't go too far though. I want to get back home before dark." He had no plans on staying out in the woods overnight, not yet anyways. Maybe in a few weeks, when he'd had a chance to investigate the woods more completely. He hoped he would find someplace he could call all his own. A place he could retreat to if things got bad in his new home. He also wanted to get Pastel out of the house and into the woods. His new housemate needed to come out of her shell and have some fun with him.
He started walking next to the stream, but he made sure he didn't go too fast, so Rainbow could keep up with him.

" That's fine. We should stay in the forest after dark anyways."
Rainbow answered. He sprinted a little to reach where Buzz was. He noticed Buzz was looking at the stream.
"Where do you think this stream leads off too?" Rainbow asked gently. He hadn't been a kid for a long time now.. and he wasn't sure what he did when he was a kid.

Buzz was confused. Hadn't he just said that he had to be back home before dark? Why was Rainbow suggesting they spend the night in the woods?
"I can't stay in the woods overnight. The human female would worry about, not to mention Pastel. And I have no idea where this stream leads. It's my first time here. That's why I wanted to investigate the woods. You must have come through more of it than me. How big is this wood exactly? I've seen so little of it."
Buzz sniffed at the ground as he walked along. Nothing was jumping out at his senses, so he felt safe for the time being.

(LOLOL , I MEANT SHOULDN'T. Sorry.D smile "The woods..is a large place. It will lead to many safe, but dangerous places. I suggest we do not go to far for right now. I don't know exactly how big it is. " Rainbow followed Buzz and looked cautiously around them.

Buzz wasn't getting any really useful information from Rainbow, so he stopped asking questions and just concentrated on where he was going, in relation to where he had come from. The last thing he wanted was to get himself lost out here. Though he didn't think Rainbow was any threat to his safety, he still didn't like the idea of having to spend the night with this new male.
The stream took a sharp turn up ahead, and he could hear the water moving faster. He really wanted to see what it looked like, so he said to Rainbow, "Come on! I want to investigate the stream up there," and he took of running.

The little pup took off fast. But no challenge for a grown voronwe. Rainbow sprinted after Buzz, carefully avoiding rocks and twigs and such. He did not want to step on something harmful.
Rainbow followed Buzz, and soon, he could almost see the blue stream.

Buzz stopped short, because the stream dropped away from the bank, and he would have fallen in had he continued at the fast pace he had been running. Good thing too, because the stream definitely picked up speed at this point, and had he fallen in, he would have been hard pressed to keep his head above water long enough to get to the bank.
He heard Rainbow coming up behind him and turned saying, "I've never seen water move so fast! I wonder if there's a way to cross over it somewhere." Though he wasn't really ready to explore the far side of the stream just yet, he most certainly had plans to do so in the future. For now he was content to just lie there on the grassy bank and watch the fast moving water flow by.

Pastel slowly, and tentatively climbed the staircase to the second floor. She could hear the female moving around in one of the rooms, so she decided to investigate the rooms in the other direction.
The first door she came to was closed, and pushing it with her foot did no good. The door would not open, so she continued down the hall, finding an open door. Nudging it with her foot, the door swung open enough that she was able to see inside. Though not quite as dark as the room downstairs, which Buzz had gone into, it was not as sunlit as the one she had found. She inched her way through the door, sniffing the air for any sign of danger, and finding none, she bravely entered. The room was full of what she could only assume were things for the female, and those of her kind. Nothing in here suggested it was a room meant for her or Buzz. She walked around, sniffing everything, and making her way to the window, she jumped up, placing her front feet on the sill. She moved the soft, hanging thing out of the way with her head and peered out the window. From this vantage point she could see the woods, which surrounded the house on all sides. The trees seemed to go on forever, but off in the distance she could see a trail of smoke rising from within them.
A noise came from outside the room and she quickly retreated from the window and made her way quietly to the open door. She heard footsteps on the stairs, and looking out noticed the female going down to the first floor. Curious about this female, and why she had brought her and Buzz here, she followed behind.
