Croix gave a rare grin, amusement in his eyes. "Then I see nothing wrong, so long as the females agree to share, and you love them all." He moved to shelter his son in one great black wing. "Now...regarding your captured mate. Do you know where she is being kept?"

Primitus nodded, closing his eyes, heart feeling heavy once more.
"I do. I was journeying to gather help, though... I can't do it alone, father." Prim looked up anxiously.

The God of Fathers listened, and recognized the unspoken question in his son's words. "I will help how I can. I must escort a pair of mortals to their destination, but I can spread word, and how to find you. And once I know my charges are safe, I can see how else I can aid you." He groomed the top of Prim's head. "You will have your mate back."
