It would probably take too long to explain, really, so Themis simply let that go - through his expression was amused.
She'd probably do just fine without him, and really, it wasn't as if he'd done much for her, anyway. The sudden realization made him frown.
He really was a shitty cousin.
"Not much's happening, really. Started DCU, it's going okay. Better than sovereign, at least." He shrugged. "Got to assistant manager at work... It's kinda soul-crushing, but it's money." White gloved hands where shoved in the pocket of his coat. "Not much beyond that..."

Maia looked to her cousin and sighed lightly, " we are senshi we really do not need anything more soul crushing than ...," then what? She didn't really know where to go with that sentence, often being a senshi could be a really morbid affair. She pushed the thoughts away.
"Do you at least have time to work on your music? Sometimes I feel like singing is slipping away and I have to jump to grab hold of it, but its my dream. Senshi or not I do not wish to give it up. I'm trying to keep everything together and work toward that because when this was is over Im still who I am and I want that to be what I truly want."
She looked up to the sky, "one day Themis this war will be over and thing will be better for everyone."
She grinned at her cousin stopping, "I started DCU as well, double major in music and veterinary science, am I overloaded or what?"
She looked to the townhouse that were a ways off, but close enough where she needed to let her alter ego go. "My house is just up there, want to come in for tea or are you going to head out for a bit more youma dusting?"

"Well..." Themis made a face. "A different kind of soul-crushing, I guess." But really, Maia didn't need to say anymore than that - it seemed like he had filled in the blanks on his own. Really, his job came nowhere close to some of the things he'd seen as a senshi.
"I do, sometimes... I don't touch it for awhile, then I start again..." He admitted. She was right, through - it was their dreams. They couldn't let it go, or else... Else what could they be ? Why would they live for, what would they fight for ?
"I hope so." He couldn't help but say. It did seem like this might never end, and even if it did... Who could say if both him or Maia would be alive by the time it all ended ?
...He didn't want to think about that.
"Well, I guess I could use a little break." He said, amused, accepting her offer.

Maia nodded and sighed lightly, "well as long as it is worth it in the end, you know at the end of the week or whatever. I couldn't, but maybe you a stronger breed than me." She smiled it was little funny because they were cousins, they shared some of the same DNA.
Maia grinned happy to know her cousin would be coming with her and taking a load off. She was eager to show of her new abode. She hadn't had much company. She could count on two hands how many people had been over in the months she had lived there.
She looked around quickly before letting her fuku fade away and standing as Lily once again, "let go shall we? It's really nice and wait till I show you the kitchen, its so big."

"Well... It is." Sure, he no longer as a big of a need for the cash as he once had, but he'd feel bad leaving Bell to have to provide for everything, and his male pride simply wouldn't take it. Simple as that.
He nodded and powered down as well, after making sure no one would see them. Force of habit, of course, but it made sense to be paranoid when your life depended on it.
"Well, let's go then !" He said with a grin. He had to admit he was curious.
