Prisca grinned a little wider. Not that she doubted him, but she was glad Xero could do this task she asked of him. Oblivion could, too, she was sure. But destroying something yourself of such great value was difficult. Someone else wouldn't hold back. She was certain the man wouldn't.

Brushing at her skirts in the nervous habit the Mewtwo woman had, she twisted a bit of fabric in her fingers at the sight of his smile. The amount of times she'd seen that were so rare, she could count them on one finger. So sudden was it, it made her stop in her tracks for a moment. She hadn't done anything to really deserve the smile, other than visiting him at his house this time. Was that it? Or was he just glad to see her?

Shaking her head with a slight blush, Prisca realized she had been standing there too long. With a quiet "Thank you" in his direction, the woman lifted her skirts to follow the taller female into the house, being sure to give Xero a smile in return.

"You as well," Oblivion allowed Xero to take the orb, in order to get accustomed to it's aura. She was still reluctant to see it destroyed it was precious to her, and so very ancient like her. She gave Xero a nod and preceded to enter Xero's home however the change in Prisca's aura caught cause her to pause. There was something there between them, She could felt the closeness or perhaps fondness Prisca felt for the other of her kind seemingly burred under some sort of confusion.

Oblivion couldn't help but feel both happy and envious of them at the same time, though like the other feelings she had she berried it deep somewhere inside, not allowing herself to contemplate long enough for their to be a change in her own aura. Oblivion did glance back briefly to see Prisca finally follow.

"Of course," she spoke softly "Take all the time you need." She was so much older than either of the two that stood in her proximity how long things took didn't affect her anymore like they would someone who was so short lived. But loosing her orb still stung her, though she'd never completely loose it, it was after all a important part of her.

Xero closed the door behind the ladies than lead them down the long lobby hallway. From there he took them into the office room adjacent to the library, a room Prisca was most familiar with. Every time she came to visit it seemed they would end up in that room. Xero had cleaned it up since her last visit, the room looked completely empty save for the couch still in front of the fire, some small ferns by the door, a few foggy mirrors on the wall and some tables pushed against the wall.

One of the tables scooted from its resting place as Xero's eyes glowed with a blue aura. It moved just behind the couch on the far end if the room.

"I must apologize, I do not have anything hospitable to offer you ladies." Xero spoke as he carefully set the orb on the table. One hand remained on top of the orb to keep it from rolling.

Prisca followed obediently, the red glow on her cheeks slowly disappearing with each step. She held one side of her skirts up off the floor so as not to trip in them, the heels sounding loud in the quiet. It always seemed quiet here. Her house was the same only some of the time and for some reason, this kind of quiet unnerved her a bit. She shrugged it off as her just coming from 6 hours of work in the office, where the music was always playing lightly in the background to help her work. The store front always played the classical channel on the radio. Prisca's office had its own music player so she could bring in her CDs from home.

The Mewtwo woman was almost run over by the table, jumping back slightly and letting go of her dress. Why was she jumpy? It was just Xero's house, quiet as it always was. His presence was easing her mind slightly, but she still felt uneasy.

Ignoring it, again, she moved to his other side, on an empty side of the table, curious to watch him in action. She couldn't comprehend how to break it. She placed her hands on the table, palms down, and leaned over a bit, shifting her purple eyes from Oblivion and Xero.

The more Oblivion took in the ambiance of the house the more she felt there was something wrong with it, and there was someone else watching, where had she felt that before? it was so strangely familiar like she should know it, she just couldn't place it, who's Aura was it? "This aura," Oblivion whispered quietly under her breath, she knew it. And whoever it was knew how to try and mask it. She couldn't place it no matter how hard she tried, was that the real reason she left the dimension where she resided to find this Aura? Or was her territorial instinct getting in the way again as it had a few times before.

Even in thought Oblivion managed to warp the space around her and allow the table to pas through her in a sense to the other side the air around her shimmered for a moment and then was gone. It was a simple reflex for the ancient legend.

"There is no apology necessary we did appear rather unannounced," Oblivion spoke softly moving to the other side of the table across from both Prisca and Xero, She eyed her orb it must be broken for the sake of her staying here, she couldn't carry it around the same it would get in the way, it was still precious but like her it had to change form. Oblivion's gaze fell between Xero and the Lustrous orb.

Xero gave Oblivion a slight nod before returning his focus completely to the orb. His hand spread over the smooth surface than lifted keeping the orb from rolling away with his powers alone. A blue glow covered his eyes.

This was a very ancient sphere in front of him. He could feel it. Its material was unlike anything he had ever seen within his long -though not as long compared to this object- life. The soft ticking could be heard as the Orb started to show cracks within and on the surface.

The events this object must have witnessed...

As more cracks begun to appear the blue aura in Xero's eyes and around his hand begun to darken into more of an indigo. Xero put most of his focus in breaking it neatly so every piece could be used and none to waste. It had proved to be quite a task.

Pain... Betrayal... Rage...

Blue sparks begun to jump from his knuckles as he continued to work with the orb. Clean-cut shards begun to fall away from the surface. In tune with their fall the house begun to groan and the sound of something falling over in the other rooms could be heard.

Wrath...

Hundreds of memories begun to flow into Xero's mind all at once. Whether they were the orb's or Oblivion's or even another entity entirely he could not say. Everything was from a time long before even he was created, the style, the land, everything was so different.

Than the Orb split like an onion blossom. Every bit of it in smaller clean-cut shards. However, Xero remained frozen with his hand outstretched. The aura in his eyes and on his hands were now pitch black.

That voice again... no, music. A waltz?

Prisca was biting her lip. She hadn't realized she was biting her lip until a thin trickle of blood ran down her tongue. Loosening her hold, she switched to sucking on the new cut, not relishing in the metallic taste of the liquid coming out, but not wanting to leave or let the blood run freely. Her purple eyes were fixed on the orb, watching the cracks. For once not paying attention to the pale man doing the damage. She couldn't grasp how he was doing it. Her need to learn and collect information was bugging her, but she just couldn't grasp it.

She should have felt the change of atmosphere before her mind was flooded with strange scenes not from her lifetime. Beautiful scenes, of hills and forests and flowers. Horrible scenes of things she didn't want to see. Her mind was half focused by the time the orb broke and she let go of the table quickly, now realizing the feel of the house was worse than when she had entered with Oblivion.

A headache was forming behind Prisca's forehead. Placing a hand to the side of her skull, she glanced at Xero, a worried expression coming into her eyes. She moved to his side and placed a hand on his arm.

Oblivion focused on both the orb and the man who broke it the woman crossed her arms one hand holding onto her arm rather tightly as cracks appeared in her precious orb. The aura emerging wasn't just her own it seemed the same as the one she sensed in the room moments before. That familiarity brought the same question to her mind. Who was it?

The orb was still a part of her and had seen much, perhaps it was trying to warn them of something? the emotions that washed over them all felt familiar as though she had seen them seen the event that may have caused them. It broke apart like a flower each piece was carefully broken off into many smaller pieces, Oblivion felt very impressed by the work, this would be the perfect size for Prisca to work with. though she could only focus on that for a moment.

Xero's eyes and aura changed, something closer to that of the ambiance of the room, There was a power to rival her own, he tail twitched. She had to find out what it was. The source couldn't be seen as she gazed around the room but her instincts wanted to focus on Xero, he dangerous all of a sudden. It wasn't the same as the earlier feeling of being territorial but darker.

She suddenly felt the need to brace herself if he didn't snap out of it. She eyed him warily.

"The strain must have been great, but Prisca is correct you have done wonderful work." perhaps her voice may bring the focus back to the item at hand.

The commands Xero was receiving were clear, destroy it. This orb had to go, everything had to go. The house groaned again and a strange shadow begun to creep up the side of the wall over the fireplace. His hand flexed, but before any energy could be collected the aura, as well as the shadow, begun to fade and he was suddenly pulled back to the present blinking and unsure of what had just happened.

When he finally got a handle on where he was, Xero suddenly felt fatigued again. His breathing became heavy, though he tried hard to hide it for the sake of his pride. Thankfully he was still able to keep a good posture.

He looked from the Orb, to Prisca, and than to Oblivion. His pupils narrowed. Something familiar...

He finally spoke after a moment. "Hopefully these fractions are to your specifications..."

There was an uncomfortable tension in the air. Prisca wasn't sure of the origins. It seemed all over. There was something strange about Xero, aside the obvious color change of his aura just a while ago. Something she didn't want to admit was a little familiar. From a moment she doubted she would ever forget. The beach had recovered already. The same couldn't be said about her nerves and feelings about it.

Giving one short look at the Palkia, the Mewtwo woman positioned herself more between the two stronger Legends. The action made her feel more inferior than she had before, the youngest, shortest, and less powerful of the three in the area. It made her feel a child. Not something she was used to or enjoyed. It left her with a sense of not knowing what to say, for a chance. Like a student watching the teachers doing something dangerous.

Her previous mood at the smile from the man was long gone.

Sighing and clutching at her skirts, Prisca gave the shattered orb a look over.

"It's to mine. Thank you for your assistence, Xero." Moving her purple gaze up to him, she offered him one of her smiles. "I am not strong enough to do something so complex."

Oblivion was relived as Prisca stepped in between them, she relaxed a little, it seemed as though the other mewtwo was able to contain whatever monster was hidden so carefully inside. The surrounding air still crackled with power, nothing less from the first successful scientific creation of man.

The older legend gave Pisca a nod of gratitude, the pieces looked large enough to fashion into proper jewelery.

Xero to Oblivion seemed to have lost some of his color, and he was breathing faster. She couldn't read minds but she didn't have to, the body always told the story itself despite trying to mask such things, in battle it was a key skill to have.

"I appreciate your Help Xero..." she spoke in a very formal tone.
