Kikyou looked intensely embarrassed. "You're too kind, really you are." She said. As his hand moved towards her, her heart picked up pace. What was he...? And then it sank as he simply took the books. 'Too much to hope for, too soon, silly girl,' she thought, shaking her head. "This will be enough for now, certainly," she said, following him to the counter. Goddess, she wanted to kiss him. This had to be love, or at least the very beginnings of it. She was supposed to be a cold, emotionless killer, but here she was turning into a puddle of girlish goo with this...flirtatious, handsome, insanely alluring Fox. 'Too damn bad,' she thought firmly. Sensei had a mate, and so did sensei's daughter. Why not her?

Gabreil put his half of the books on the counter then turned and took her half and placed them onto the counter. If he was not mistaken for a brief second she had a look of disapointment when he only took her books. Oh to hell with it. If I am going to hell I might as well enjoy my way there. He thought to himself with the thought of his agency finding out about this. He steps up into her space allowing only a brief fraction of space before slowly wraping his arms around her into a warm hug. Then after a few moments waitied for her to pull out of the embrace. He is sure she wanted him to hug her if he read her body laungage right. It was what he himself wanted as well. "Sorry I just cant seem to help myself. I feel very fond of you even if we just met Kikyou." He wispers softly.

Kikyou flushed as he pulled her into an embrace, her eyes going wide. 'YESSSSSSSSS!' became her definition of coherent thought for a few seconds. She slipped her arms around him, resting her head on his shoulder. "Be unable to help yourself all you want," she replied. "I...feel the same." Oh, she was so dead when she got back to the temple. 'Oh freaking well,' she thought. Sensei's anger? So incredibly worth it.

Gabreil smiles leaning his lips to the top of her head and kissing it softly with his tender emotions. "I will make sure to make a special note that will say extra hugs for Kikyou." He says warmly. "What kind of food would you like to share with me this beautiful night Kikyou?" Oh no. Using names instead of the my pet names. He mently told that inner voice to shut up and let him have his one night of company. He did not want to let her go but the guy at the counter was waiting. "One moment Kikyou. Need to pay for the books." He says softly before slowly drawing away as if reluntant to let her go. His eyes met hers for a brief moment sharing his emotions to her before turning to the counter and paying for the books with cash so not to trace him. "Thank you sir." He said before waiting for the bags. He held out one bag and he carried another for her.

Kikyou let out a soft sigh as his lips brushed the top of her head. "Yeah, you keep that in mind," she said, unable to wipe the smile off her face. "Any kind of food will be fine." She said firmly. She longed to stay in his arms forever, but she knew that was impossible. So she released him, nearly melting under the gaze they shared. She waited quietly as he paid for the books, taking the bag he offered her with a wide smile. Even if she never saw him after this, she would treasure those books as her memory.

Gabreil smiles as he neared her and wraped a free hand around her waist pulling her to his side. If he had his way he would keep her right there. It did not matter that he knew nothing about her or if she could handle his harsh life. He made his mind up right then that he would somehow tell her that he wanted to date and keep in contact. It was a major step that he'd never felt needed to be taken till now. He really wanted to keep her but he refused to do that without the other person knowing about him and his life. He was alittle scared to take that step so maybe just dateing would work for now. Kinda grow on her before telling her and scaring her away. He started to walk with her out the store. "Well I do like chinese food alot. Sushi, egg rolls and egg drop soup is great." He says to her seeing if she would be open to that. "I also love there pork. Its delishious."

Kikyou smiled up at him, resting her head on his shoulder. She knew she was a fool to fall for him. For all she knew, he was a sweet Goodie who would run away as soon as he knew what she did for a lining-what her race did for a living. She couldn't help but want him anyway. Perhaps it would be better to cut contact with him after she left town, but at this point, that simply was not a viable option. She had fallen too deep. "Chinese sounds wonderful." She agreed. It was different enough from what she was used to that she was fine with it.

Gabreil led them to the chinese restrant feeling so joyful at kikyou leaning her head on his shoulder silently acepting him holding her as they walked. Deep fondness for her was placed straight into his heart. He then pointed out one of the places that had the guardian lion statues protecting the restrant. "That is where we are heading. Have you heard the story about the statues that was built long ago to protect the the royals of china at the palace. I dont know if its true but they are pretty anyways." He smiles. Once they reach the restrant the people there stare at him in suprise to bring a female here. He chuckles and whispers to her. "I am not normally around females so everyone is shocked." There was amusement in his voice. "I want to date you. Think about it k? Dont have to answer now. Just wanted to let you know."

Kikyou blinked. "I'd heard stories, yes," she acknowledged. "Goodness, that looks like such a nice restaurant." She said, looking a bit embarrassed and nervous. She looked around, feeling the stares of the other patrons, but greeted them with a smile in return. "I see," she said. It comforted her to know that he didn't often take females to places such as this. However, his proposition of dating surprised her and brought a blush to her cheeks. She didn't know what to say. She wanted to agree, but she wasn't sure how often she would be able to come here and meet him. Still, nothing would make her happier than to have him as a more permanent piece of her life...

Gabreil smiles at her answer. "Mmm. It is a very nice restrant. I am lucky to to have friends work for me there." He leads her to a table where they could see everything yet not be snuck up on. A waiter hurried to there table and bowed to Gabreil then to Kikyou. "Sir what would you like tonight?" Gabreil looks into Kikyou's eyes as he replies. "I would like to have two menu's please. I would like the lady to chose what she would like. Oh and a lemon water for me please." His attention never left hers. "What would you like to drink Kikyou?" Gabreil asked her before the waiter could.

Kikyou laughed. "How fortunate!" She said. She couldn't help but notice his choice of table. They were protected. She wondered if it was a coincidence. That, she decided, was unlikely. But what did it mean? He had just given her something to think about. She considered what she wanted, noticing his eyes never broke from hers. "Tea, please," she said. She had always been a big tea drinker.

Gabreil grins at her choice of drinks. "Tea sounds lovely but which kind do you prefer there are many kinds here. I make sure they are stocked. Everything from Earl Black tea to Wild berry zinger. Just name your favorite and I will make sure they have it." He smiled kindly at her. This restrant was just a front so that people saw he made money off this place though that is not really where his income came from. His hands where always where you could see them. Never had he hidden his hands. He wanted to make sure that some of the other agents saw that she was not a target. It was a unspoken sign to them.

"Oh my," Kikyou said, "such variety. Ah...simple white tea should be alright." She said. "I really am a simple girl with simple tastes." Enforcedly so, there were few luxuries at the temple. Since he had selected this well-placed table, her eyes had been on his body language. It was of interest to her that his hands were always visible. Perhaps his life was more like hers than she had thought.

Gabreil was watching for body signs from Kikyou and found none so far. Just calm if not faint amusment from her. The waiter bows and leaves. Gabreil wonders where she came from. Shocked at books and fantasy to just plain white tea which actully not many drinks. Kinda reminded him of monestrys or temples. Maybe she was just simple raised. "So tell me more about yourself please Kikyou. Things like your favorit color and food. What is your favorit animal if you have one. Things like that." He wanted to keep it simple and lighthearted. Nothing to deep. If they trusted each other and knew about who he really was with her still wanting to be around him then maybe. For now it would be amusing to hear her favoirts.

Kikyou considered her angle here. Was it better to let him know that she had noticed all of his quirks of behavior? Not until after dinner, at least, she decided. "Favorites? Well, my favorite color is probably pink. Rose pink, specifically." She looked a tad bit embarrassed. It was a surprisingly feminine choice. "My favorite food? Oh my gosh, ah...I really love udon," she said. "I...don't know that I have a favorite animal, but I do love birds." There always seemed to be some aorund the temple. Rumor was the Goddess's mate liked them.
