Beaming with approval, Xiu momentarily forgot about their situation, clapping happily for Astra's capture. "Good job!" That had been pretty impressive! After another moment, the fact that there was still one more bunny loose. If they could just find that one...
...What was that thing that Arashi had in his mouth? The Baku stared, wide-eyed, as her mini padded out of the bathroom, something gray and squirming being carried carefully between his teeth. When Xiu stooped down, the feline obediently trotted up to her, dropping the dust bunny in her outstretched hand. The Baku didn't waste any time--she stood up, quickly lifted the overturned basket, and tossed the dust bunny in before any of the others could escape.
Phew!
"I-is that all of them?" A pause, and then, "...I have more spookies, fortunately! Let me go get you some more!"

"Thank you" Beaming with the praise, Astra was about to look around for the last one, but it looked like she wouldn't have to; Arashi had done the job for them.
"I think so...." She replied to Xiu, hoping that it really was. Those minipets had proven to be a royal pain in the butt, and she would have to pay closer attention to them now so that they wouldn't escape again. At the mention of more spookies, the fairy eyes lit up again. "You have more? Thats wonderful!" She would still get to have some spookies! "I'll write up some notes for us while you fetch them" Thanks to their adventure with the bunnies, she had plenty to write about.
Grabbing her note book, she immediately began to write down some pointers, such as their speed, their ability to communitcate with one another, and how smart they were as well.

The Baku sighed in relief, following this with a laugh as she carried the empty plate to the kitchen to rinse it off and get a new batch of spookies out. "That was exciting!" She called from the kitchen, though to be honest, that chase had taken a bit out of her. It wasn't easy running around and trying to track down the speedy dust bunnies, that was for sure.
When Xiu came out of the kitchen, she carried a new plate of spookies along with a glass of water for her guest. Setting them down in front of Astra, Xiu slid into her seat and sighed. "On the bright side, we definitely learned a lot about them from that chase, hm?" Looking thoughtful, she began to jot down notes of her own, intending on sharing their notes once they were done.
It had been a little tedious, but...in the end, the chase had kind of helped them, hadn't it?

Exiting. Thinking about the chase as she quickly wrote as much as she could, Astra came to the conclusion that..yeah, it was kind of fun! Well, except the parts where they had almost eated her, and when they had eaten the spookies. Besides that though it was quite fun. "Yeah!" She replied to the baku ghoul, then went over what she had written.
Once Xiu had came back out with more sweets, She looked up with hopeful eyes, then beamed once the food was set down in front of her, not hesitating to take a cookie and start munching on it contently. "We did learn some important stuff! We know that they like to eat sweet things, and they also like to work in groups as well." As she continued her snack, she set the notes she had written in front of Xiu so the ghoul could read them if she desired.

"Hmm, yes," Xiu nodded into agreement, glancing towards the notes that Astra pushed towards her, "And we've also learned that...well, they're pretty speedy, aren't they? And it was awfully clever of them to split up and spread around the room like that." The capture would have gone a lot faster and smoother if all of the bunnies had just huddled together in a single corner.
Jotting down all of these notes, the Baku sighed in relief as she pushed her paper forward. Really, this assignment didn't turn out to be as bad as she thought it would be! At first, she had been a little concerned--for one thing, she didn't know Astra too well, and for another, she didn't even know where to begin with the bunnies--but all in all? She thought that they had pretty concrete information.
Grinning down, she turned to the reaper. "How are the spookies?"

Since she had written done most of her information, Astra had began to focus on the glorious that was the spookies. And she was really enjoying them too! She nodded as Xiu listed the other things they had learnt, still munching on the sweets, and only looked up when she was asked how they were
"Oh!" The fairy said, a few crumbs on her face, and the plate looking a lot less full then it originally was. "They're amazing! You're really good at cooking, I could eat these all day"
....wait, wasn't she supposed to be
Oh yeah! The research!
Quickly picking up the sheet Xiu had been working on, she read it over, her antenna moving about in thought (and absently moving towards the spookies again...). After reading, she nodded and put it down again. "These notes look good too. I think we should have everything covered"

Blushing, the Baku grinned at the compliment, giving a modest little bow of her head. "T-thanks. I...I still have tons of room for improvement, but I'm glad you like them." It only encouraged her to work even harder. Despite what her parents would think, Xiu was quite fond of the idea of opening a little tea house or cafe when she was older. That would be nic--
--...homework. Right. Oops! Her mind went off track so easily sometimes!
Fortunately, it seemed like they were both done! "I think so too," She agreed, scanning both of their notes again, "We did well! Thank you for coming over, Astra. This was actually...a lot more fun and exciting than I thought it would be!"

"Your welcome Xiu, I'm glad I could help" Astra replied, happy that they had finished their notes. Plus, Xiu was right; she did have lots of fun studying. Now, all she had to do was to figure out how to tame them when she took them back. Hers weren't fully grown, and if the grown ones had given them this much trouble...
Giving her notes one last scan, then writing a few more just to finish it off, the fairy began to pack away her things. "I better get going now, but hopefully we'll get to see each other again soon" She knew the baku was in a few of her classes, so she could talk to her then. "See ya!" And with that, she picked her stuff up and walked out of the dorm room.
