 Saeko raised an eyebrow at his response to her question...and within a few moments as she continued to stare at him, she asked, "...So... Are you like my guide from now on or something?..." She was wondering if she would be stuck with this demon thing forever... She didn't really mind it, but it felt kind of...awkward...

~Jaspar~  Jaspar chuckled a little and shook his head. "Well now that wasn't part of the deal. Though i guess if it came down too it i could help you...but it's unlikely...For now I'm more like a power source you leech off of whenever you use magic."
"Leech being the appropriate term since i make new magical essence like you make blood so i do have a limit,dry me out too much and i'll cut you off to save my life. As for the 'from now on' part? Yes as per the deal i am with you till you die be it from a long life or...unfortunate end."
'Not to mention i have no reason to go out of my way to help her...after all i gain more from her death then i do prolonging her life.' Jaspar thought to himself as he tried everything he could to keep an evil smile from forming.

Saeko listened to the demon speak and as he finished his entire statement regarding the fact that he was a power source for her magic and that he would stick around until she died, she could not help but narrow her eyes at the last part. The demon seemed to be up to something. After all, he was a demon. Within a few moments, she shoved that thought aside and asked with a sigh as she stood up and looked over at him, "Alright... So how do I use these powers?..."

~Jaspar~ "Ah a good question from such a lovely lady." Jaspar replies as he lessens his smirk and makes it into more of a smile. He was testing the water of course,he had no real interest in her but part of his job was to see how his potential souls reacted to different treatments and he would keep doing so till he found a weak point. "First of let me make it absolutely clear that the only things that matter for magic is your concentration,mental discipline and imagination."
"For the best results you must first see the end result of what you want to happen before you use it. A simple one to accomplish is an easy light spell,Just imagine a light being emitted from either your body or if you can focus it so simply from your fingers and lighting up the room. It's not only simple but doesn't take up much of my essence. Just will it to be true and it shall...to certain limits." He smiled a little less and had more of a neutral look to him. "Of course attack spells take even less to use but i'll tell her that later..."

Saeko continued to keep her gaze upon Jaspar as he spoke and did not react to the compliment of her saying that she was a lovely lady...due to the fact that it may just be a comment with nothing behind it, meaning he just said it without actually meaning it. He was a demon, after all... Compliments they gave were always in a sinister manner. When he started to describe how she would harness this new-found power, she took a deep breath and slowly closed her eyes...trying to focus in order to create the light from her body. However, within a few moments, the image of the samurai actually popped up in her head...and in that precise moment, a rather medium-sized shock-wave of fire shot across the room. When she opened her eyes, she saw that the room was set ablaze.

~Jaspar~ Jaspar's smile appeared once again once she had started to focus only to suddenly look surprised fallowed by a quick look of anger. "Damn fool!" Was his only thought before the shock wave of fire blasted out from her,unaffected by such a common element in the demon plane Jaspar took a moment to enjoy the sight before speaking a demonic word of power to extinguish the flames immediately and reverse the damage it cause to such a perfect state it was as if it never happened. "I haven't used that word in a very long time...guess it's like a bicycle...Now try again."
He tells Saeko with his smile still intact and his voice gentle and calm. A polar opposite compared to the outrage he felt inside. "I gave her a simple spell,one simple spell to use and she torches the entire place! What a fool!" His only sign of anger under his calm and mentor like complexion was a slight twitch in his left eye.

Saeko watched as the flames were put out by Jaspar with a single word that she could not understand. When he told her to try again, she sighed before closing her eyes once again... Taking in a deep breath as she tried to keep that thought about the samurai from entering into her mind. As she kept her eyes closed, her body slowly started to illuminate. When she opened her eyes, she saw that her whole body was glowing in a form of light. She sighed in relief that she was able to do it this time. Looking over at Jaspar, she asked, "Like this?"

~Jaspar~ Jaspar smiled and nodded as he clapped a few times."Yes yes very good very good,now try to lessen it to your finger tips,its just as powerful yet not as draining." He explains as he gets closer and steps into the ring of candles,the ring not effecting him since he was now a part of her body.

Saeko figured that him clapping was a good thing...although she could not tell if it was sarcasm or not. Since this spell she was using was probably like breathing air for him. That was how simple it seemed...although for her it took quite a bit of concentration. Hearing him tell her to try to lessen it into her finger tips, she nodded and closed her eyes once again. As she did so, the illumination of her body slowly faded away and drifted towards her fingertips...causing them to glow brightly. Opening her eyes, she looked at her fingertips and moved her hands around slowly, saying as she looked at them, "Wow... It's beautiful..." Just because she loved killing did not mean she couldn't appreciate sights of wonder and beauty.

~Jaspar~ Jaspar smirked and closed his eyes with a sigh. "If my acute hearing is correct I can hear someone coming...humans and their wooden floors...I'll never understand..." Jaspar mused out loud to himself as he walked over to a corner of the room. "I'd put out those lights on your fingers quickly if i were you..." He tells Saeko with a devilish grin as he tested to see how she reacted under pressure. He of course knew there was no one coming down the hall he just wanted to test as he always did.

When Jaspar said that there was someone coming and that she should put those lights out on her fingers, her eyes widened as she immediately shook her hands--and as she did so, the lights eventually went out in a matter of less than 3 seconds. Immediately, she went to a dark corner of the room...keeping her hand on the handle of her sword to get ready to strike the intruder or have him/her state who they were. If they were indeed hostile, she would strike them down... In fact, she would probably kill the intruder anyways...since she did like to kill, somewhat.

~Jaspar~ Jaspar nearly laughed when he saw her ducking into a corner and actually believing what he said. "Ok calm down calm down,Twas a lie of course but a lie i needed to do." He smiled and walked out of the corner of the room though since the candles and magic lights were turned off and Saeko was standing in a dark corner of the room even as he stood in some moon light that was streaming in he could not be seen by Saeko,after all can you see your shadow in the dark?

When Jaspar told her to calm down and that it was a lie, she rolled her eyes and sighed out in relief as she stood up in the corner that she was in. Looking around, she noticed that she couldn't see him at all...yet she knew he was still there. As such, she asked, "...Why did you need to, exactly?"

~Jaspar~ Jaspar simply chuckled and shrugged even though she couldn't see him. "To see if you trusted me...To see weather or not you would believe me or just pass it off as a lie on account of me being a demon. Yes it was a lie but it was more or less in actuality a test of trust..."
"Be angry if you want but there was no other way i can think of,after all it's not as if i could ask,i couldn't just simply ask for an answer to such a question being a demon and all,now could i? No the answer may have been a lie or i could have creeped you out." No matter what she thought of it Jaspar knew the answer to his little test and was quite glad,trust would make spending time around her much easier.

As Jaspar said that it was practically a test of trust, she merely crossed her arms and said with a soft sigh, "Alright... So you made me prove that I trust you... Now what?" She was wondering what he was going to do next... Hopefully it was not something over the top... Because if he was still going to test her on the foundation of trust, he might have enough power to create an illusion or something and see if he trusted her about it. But, then again, she did not know how much demons were capable of...more specifically, she did not know what Jaspar's limits were.
