Hel just gave a firm nod of her head in response to Lattice’s statements. Training and showing off their respective hobbies in the future sounded like a good thing to do in the future for another get together! At the mention of card games though, the valkyrie was wary, thanks to a certain cowboil. She had learned her lesson, certainly, to not rush into another card game again. Not until she got a lot more practice, anyways. “Ah…I see!” Hel replied, her questions now having answers. “Alright, sounds good, friend!”
The ghoul moved into the cafeteria after Lattice, and started to head over to the dessert section of the cafeteria with high hopes. “It is.” Hel replied cheerfully and gave a nod of her head. “Oooh, Lattice, I believe we may be in luck!”

"I look forward to it," Lattice replied after Hel announced it sounded good. The Engraver found making friends with this other ghoul was rather easy it was almost like they knew each other forever the way they just freely chatted at each other. It felt...nice.
She followed after Hel when she continued onward after they entered the cafeteria, "I like it." Lattice stated as she continued to follow toward the dessert section. The Engraver carefully shifted a bit closer to Hel when she announced that they may be in luck almost pressing her face a bit too far forward just to try and 'see' the tartlets.
Lattice let out a small squee of delight when she confirmed, by scent, that there were indeed raspberry tartlets to be had, "Let'sgetthemall," the monotone fell away showing excitement. So much excitement.

Hel peered down at the tartlets happily and grinned widely. Oh yes, the craving today would be fulfilled! Excellent!
The reaper couldn’t help but do a double take though when Lattice squeed and her usual monotone gave way to excitement. Her head snapped back to look at her, blinking in stunned silence for a moment before she laughed. “Alright then!” She cheered. Err…how were they going to carry then out? Oh wait! Hel grinned as she grabbed the edge of her apron and pulled it up to make a make shift knapsack and then reached out and swiped an arm out, pushing all of the tartlets into her apron. “…I think we’ve seen enough of the cafeteria, eh, Lattice?” Hel uttered conversationally. “Let’s get you back to the ghost dorms, yes?”
Best to get away before any other raspberry tartlet loving students saw what had happened.

Later Lattice would look back at her behavior and be sorely disappointed in herself but right now? She didn't care, there were tartlets and they were going to eat them all, yes they were. Normally she ate like a little bird a bit here and a bit there but she swore to herself that she would make the room needed to eat her share of the tartlets. At least she'd give it her all.
The Engraver watched as Hel came up with a solution to how to carry them all without even asking the question and Lattice felt glad for the initiative. It almost felt like they were stealing the tarts in a way but then again...
...Tough luck.
Lattice nodded excitedly, "Yes, that sounds like a wonderful plan. I'll even make us some tea, so we can have something to drink as we enjoy the tartlets." The ghoul almost seemed animated at this point. She moved to follow Hel out of the cafeteria and to the ghost dorms.

They weren’t stealing, they were creatively liberating! Those who snooze, lose, and all that!
The reaper wasn’t sure how to feel about tea, but something to drink with a friend did sound nice. “Sounds like a plan.” Hel chirped, leading the way out of the cafeteria and over to where the ghost dorms were. Now while she knew where they were, she’d never been inside them before…so this was going to be interesting! Upon arriving, the valkyrie paused, and look towards Lattice for guidance now.

It didn't really take too long before at the dorms. Lattice didn't have any problems taking the lead then confidently moving forward into the building and then meandering around the halls until she found an ink smudged door that signified it at hers reaching forward she simply opened it and lead the way inside.
"Sorry it is still a bit of a mess. A friend of mine helped me arrange everything but I am still settling," Lattice explained as she wandered in though the room seemed pretty much in one piece! There was just a couple of paper and some inkwells on a table as well as a couple of brushes sitting on the table. It seemed like Lattice liked to keep a neat room.
She started to move toward the very small kitchen area, "Is there anything in particular you like for tea?"

Hel wandered through the cemetery excitedly with Lattice, looking this way and that until they approached the mausoleum and then descended down its steps. Oooh, so this is where the ghost students lived! Interesting!
The valkyrie followed Lattice down the hall and to her room, and was expecting the room to be in slight disarray after that warning, but blinked in surprise when she finally saw it. “…Uh…Lattice, this is not a mess.” Hel replied, her dual toned gaze sweeping around the pretty immaculate room before she laughed. The reaper then made her way over to the table, settling at an end that wasn’t occupied, and dumped their cafeteria spoils upon it. She smoothed her apron back out and looked towards the kitchen unit.
“Uh…anything is fine, friend!”

Lattice blinked a bit behind her mask and protested quietly, "But Hel, do you not see the mess on my table? It is simply shameful. The Elders of my Clan would never stand for it," she sighed softly at her own laxness. At least she managed to do her meditations and things each morning! That was something she didn't miss out on. Ever.
"It seems like I just forgot all my teachings from the clan within a couple of short days," Lattice murmured softly chiding herself as she started putting the water on to boil for tea. "Anything? Would a nice raspberry tea be fine then? Or perhaps a green tea..." She chattered thoughtfully as she went over her little tins.

Hel stared back at the inkwells and brushes at the end of the table in disbelief. “Once again friend, I emphasize, that is not a mess.” Truly, if Lattice thought that was messy, she shouldn’t look at Hel’s desk. While it wasn’t out of control, it wasn’t the cleanest either, no, more like organized chaos.
The reaper settled at the table, blinking at how low it was to the ground. Though it had cushions around it that seemed to mimic…chairs? Huh. Hel settled onto one of the cushions, sitting cross legged. “Uh…raspberry sounds good!” The ghoul piped up, looking around once more at Lattice’s room curiously.

Despite Hel's assurances Lattice didn't seem too convinced that her little room hadn't become a den of messiness. Lattice quietly got out a couple of plates and then moved to set them near Hel so she could arrange the tartlets, "Alright then," Lattice smiled briefly. Lattice moved to clean up some of the inks and things off of the table so she could sit with Hel when the tea was done.
Lattice's room was simple with only a singular wall hanging and a couple of other decorations it seemed like a few things were infused with ink just so she could still enjoy the aesthetics of the decor.
The ghoul wandered back to the kitchen when the water started boiling she quietly got out the cups and then she started brewing the berry flavored tea for them, "Would you like me to bring some sweeteners out, Hel?"

This whole set up felt rather fancy, and that was something Hel wasn’t use to. Delicate and elegant looking dishes, a quaint, visually pleasing and balanced room…it was a far cry from what she was use to at home. The ghoul was oddly silent as she just watched Lattice lay out the dishes for the tartlets, and her gaze also followed the other ghoul back to the small kitchen where she watched her prepare the tea.
“Uh…no…? That’s alright, friend…” While the reaper did like sweet things, it wasn’t all that necessary when she was drinking something.”

She nodded a bit as she prepared the cups and then brought them out. Lattice set Hel's cup near her and then set her own cup at the place where she would be seated. After a few moments Lattice was seated across from Hel looking quite in place. Content.
"Are you alright Hel? Am I making you uncomfortable?" Lattice asked quietly as she moved to get a dish and a tartlet to place on it. She quietly started to eat her 'creatively liberated' tartlet just simply enjoying the flavor.

The reaper stared down at the cups Lattice set before them and couldn’t help but compare them to the large, hearty mugs she was use to. Lattice’s dishware looked for…elegant and fragile, and dare she say…classy? She then peered up at the ghoul, and gave a shake of her head.
“Oh, no, you’re not making me uncomfortable!” Hel replied. “I just…never saw dishware like this before…” She ran a finger along the rim of her cup carefully, as if she might break it, and then picked up a tartlet as well and bit into it. “…Mmmm.” Maybe things tasted better when they were liberated from a challenge! Regardless, the tartlets were delicious.

Lattice smiled a bit and seemed to relax when she was certain that Hel wasn't uncomfortable or put off by her surroundings. Chances were if she was Lattice probably would have gone on a cleansing frenzy just to appease her own need for order and comfort. "Ahh, yes. They were a special gift given to me by my sister," Lattice explained simply. Hands down this was the Engraver's favorite set in the history of having tea sets and all just because her Twin got it for her.
The Engraver uttered a small happy sound as she nibbled at her tartlet, "These are really delicious. I enjoyed um...giving them a new home with you. It was fun."
She took another bite of her tartlet thoughtfully, would they really be able to eat them all in one sitting? Thinking about it now Lattice wasn't so sure.

Oh, a present from her sister, huh? Time to be extra careful then! Hel would be devastated if she had damage this set someway somehow.
“They are delicious!” Hel echoed, taking a big bite out of hers and then grinned over at the Engraver. “It was fun!” She agreed with a firm nod of her head. The reaper didn’t seem concerned as to whether they finished them right now or not, because that’s what mini-fridges were for, after all! “Would you like to split the spoils of war?” Hel questioned teasingly.
