Mitsu's ears fell back a bit but she tried not to let the sad feeling overwhelm her. Or, at least she tried. "I dunno, like our parents he just....vanished one day without a word." Like he had never existed, the only trace of him being the things he had left behind. It was strange how her brother had taken nothing with him. Everything had still been in his room untouched.
There wasn't much else to say. The memory around the time was clouded and fuzzy. Mitsu almost felt like she knew what had happened but as soon as she was close to touching on the memory it was gone. "But yes, we are here now." Mitsu agreed. While they hadn't gotten a chance to know each other at the festival they could make up for that now.

Hel’s expression faltered briefly as Mitsu described what happened, and the reaper looked at a loss for a moment. She wasn’t sure what to say to try and make the lycan feel better until…oh! “One day then, friend, you should go look for him!” A journey of sorts, an epic quest to find someone who is dear to you! Hel’s grin returned as she squeezed the ghoul’s shoulder. “Why wait for something to happen, when you can go out and make it happen, yes?”
She let that thought hang out there, and slung an arm over the lycan’s shoulders. She then turned her gaze back to the stationery and writing utensils. “That we are! We are also at a stationery store! Do you have everything you need?”

Go out a look for him? It seemed so simple, but why did it also seem so complicated. The reaper's tone, however, made Mitsu feel like it was possible. That if they went on this quest to find her brother they would somehow stumble upon him somewhere. He would laugh and say he got lost or lost track of time. "I..I would like that." She admitted softly.
As Hel threw her arm over her shoulder Mitsu was pleased to step closer. She liked this ghoul, the reaper was very friendly. "Ah, yes! I do believe I have everything." Notebook, pencils, and pens. She was set for her new classes. "Do you have everything?"

Hel liked to believe that anything was possible if you set your mind to it! It was obvious that this ghoul was timid and shy, so the reaper wasn’t surprised that she possibly had the thought that she couldn’t. Hel grinned down at Mitsu cheerfully. “Make it a goal for next break, make it a goal for after you graduate the Academy, but some way, some how, make it happen.”
“Do I have everything?” The ghoul echoed, staring down at the hand that held the two packs of stationery thoughtfully. It felt like she was missing something…ah ha! Hel swiped a pack of pens off of the shelf as well, and then started to steer her new companion over to the check out counter. “Now I do!” Once they arrived, the reaper nudged Mitsu forward first. “After you, friend.”

Make it a goal? Mitsu nodded. She would definitely try. It was a goal worth shooting for after all.
Once it seemed Hel finally had all her supplies after grabbing her pack of pens Mitsu allowed the reaper to lead her to the front. Being nudged forward Mitsu placed her items on the counter to be scanned looking to the total before digging in her bag for the correct amount of seeds. Paying and taking her purchase Mitsu stepped aside and waited for Hel patiently so they could walk out together.

Hel hummed, tapping her foot lightly as well as Mitsu went through the register, and then followed behind her. She paid for her stationery and pack of pens, and then took her bag and moved over to meet up with the lycan once more. “Say there, friend..” Hel started, opening the door for Mitsu and waiting for her to go first.
“Are you heading back to the dorms? I’ll gladly accompany you if you are!”

"Ah, yes! Yes I am." Mitsu nodded to confirm as Hel came to join her. "The company would be appreciated." Namely because she wasn't one hundred percent certain on how to get back. Think of it as an adventure though. That's what Junko had said!

“Most excellent!” Hel cheered, following the lycan out the door. Also, lucky for the both of them, the reaper knew right where she was going, and more or less took charge in leading the way there.
Hel slung her arm around the ghoul’s shoulders once more as she chatted at her the entire way back.
